Tiscali Installation No Show

A scheduled installation date -- Tiscali didnt turn up!!! Not only that, they didnt seem to know about it. Navigating their chat system was a nightmare as i got bounced from one rep to another -- each asking the same questions!!!!!! Absolutely hopeless!!!

Beyond Hopeless.

Beyond Hopeless.

Cannot log in to my Email for 3 days now. Had Webchat and was advised problems with Chrome users.

Webchat has been taken down now so cannot seek an update.

Of course the Tiscali website reports NO ISSUES.

Refuse to do anything about their customer Loose Cannon aka Gordon Radavich He uses various other nicks as well such as NEMO and Susan Cohen. He repeatedly posts racist comments about Blacks and Arabs and defends convicted rapists and pedophiles. He is very pro Nazi and hates Jews.

Awful.

Awful.
I have a number of old emails with tiscali which I cannot close, one was hacked and is now sending out phishing emails yet I cannot shut it down, Talktalk are useless and offer next to no assistance if you are only using tiscali email and don't have an account.
As for data breaches, avoid like the plague.

Shockingly bad

Shockingly bad. Had Tiscali and their email,which is my main address and I've now been without it for weeks, just says words to the effect of not active/not authorised when I try to use my email client to log in. Talk Talk have no interest whatsoever in helping, all their guides are TalkTalk email based. After multiple phone calls finally spoke to someone today after an hour but then he abruptly put the phone down and said there was a technical issue. I'm a pensioner and am not overly-familiar with all the settings involved, but my neighbour has looked at the Tiscali/TalkTalk forum and seen people in the same situation going back to 2018 with TalkTalk refusing to communicate with them. I'm putting together a letter to Ofcom as this seems like the only way to resolve the issue. I'm quite disgusted that Ofcom lets TalkTalk getaway with this behaviour. Ofcom is funded by the taxpayer if I am not mistaken, what use are they? Let's disband them now, they are useless and the country needs the cash. Of course if they are jointly funded by phone companies/ISPs this would explain their ineffectiveness.

ITALIAN: Tiscali non prende sul serio i suoi clienti. Non capisce l'importanza che il servizio che forniscono è per il normale funzionamento della vita dei suoi clienti. Il servizio che forniscono quando c'è un prolbem, in effetti, è orribile! Questo non è solo un problema con Tiscalil, ma con molte aziende italiane. Non esiste una cultura dell'eccellenza. ENGLISH: Tiscali does not take its customers seriously. It does not understand the importance the service they supply is for the normal functioning of its customers life. The service they supply when there is a prolbem, in effect, is horrible! This is not only a problem with Tiscalil, but with many Italian companies. There is not a culture of excellence. Bad Internet

Tiscali is the worst internet of my life. I said them is this a good internet. They said yes it's good. After 2 weeks finaly internet was working. In that 2 weeks i call them ask why the hell internet is not working they always make excuses. and after two weeks when internet was working i tried to download a 77 mb file it took 20 minutes to download it. Don't get this wifi. It's piece of crap

How do they get away with it???
Yet again, problems with my mailbox. I spent 2 hours on their webchat, with a clueless "agent", probably a robot judging by the responses, with poor understanding of the english language and an even less of an understanding of the problem I have.
I was told the problem needs to be "escalated" and that I would be contacted within 72 hrs. This was on the 23/12/19, today is 28/12/19 and guess what has happened - absolutely nothing.
Clearly they dont give a damn.

It’s been said before

It’s been said before. Truly a terrible company. They get away with it because OFCOM are pretty ineffectual and because people don’t want the hassle of changing email I guess. Oh they always give the impression they want to help. But they don’t. I had an open complaint for some time. They simply refuse to respond in writing. Time and again I asked for this. Instead they will try callin* at random times and random dates. When you pin them down to a specific date/time...puff, they’re gone. My most recent issue is that I can’t read any emails beyond a certain date suddenly. Queue a convoluted complaint process. Again again again.

Worst service available

I started trying to get Tiscali in October 2016. It is now mid March 2017 and it's still not set up. All they give me is excuses about why it needs to be installed. I wasted 7 months and have nothing to show for it. AVOID TISCALI AT ALL COSTS.

disgusting.

worst internet provider ever, everyone around my area has 10+MB and then there is me, sitting on my 1MB on a good day, they constantly fobbed me off with excuses saying everything under the sun to push the blame on me. They are the most unhelpful bunch of people I have ever delt with and as soon as i can change provider I will.

super provider

used tiscali for a year in the uk and had no problems internet was fine both for downloading and uploading. they keeped emailing me to reduce my downloading mbits and they had to give me specific times to use high download volumes.
good prices compared to cy

Used to be good now talk talk has ruined it

When I joined tiscali it was a really good service provider and reasonable cost. Then Talk Talk took it over. I now have to stay with them if I want to keep my initially free tiscali email address and frankly despite all the hassle of changing I AM GOING. I have never experienced such bad service, such poor customer care scripts, such appalling English (though great when you consider they are from Calcutta, Bangalore, new Delhi and the Philippines) and so little listening. If they spent as much time sorting out the problem as sending deceitful messages to say that your service is working, when it isn't, they might get the issues dealt with. Instead they seem much more keen to take your money and any time there is an issue blame a) your equipment, b) your phone provider or c) you for clearly being unreasonable when you think it's not good value to pay for an Internet service that is non existent. On top of which if another recorded phone message suggests that I go online to monitor my Internet fault, I will probably have some kind of seizure. Surely the whole point of reporting a fault indicates that you cannot do just that THAT'S WHY YOU'RE PHONING AT GREAT EXPENSE. Just a frustrating rip off. Don't join Talk talk if you want to get a service of any kind.

Avoid like the plague

Phone & broadband problems, they have you phoning Indian call cntr at your expense they wont call you back. A call out to your hse cost£70+ if problem in your property. Instead they try to get you to fix fault by dismantling phone line box in house whilst talking to Indian person?
Later tried to get refund for phone calls and loss of service they not interested.
Tried to leave and bombarded with threats of breach of contract. I finally transferred to other supplier and received £130+ demand from debt agency when I only owed them £21.
I offered to go to county court see what the court would say, they dropped the case.
Type of conduct you would expect from a third world company.

Tiscali--Rubbish

Over 12 months the Tv didn't work, the internet was on and off and they charged to fix it and then it still didn't work> Cost me 110 to reconnect my phone line after they put it on their own line> A really bad experience>
I wrote to them at least ten times and all they said was "Tough" Well tough on you Tiscali, here's my review of you
