My experience with Top tutors as an IB student

I joined Top Tutors at the beginning of my IB journey. I have been learning Danish from Max, and it has been a wonderful experience. Max is a very patient and understanding tutor who creates a safe environment, making it easier for me to ask questions and voice any doubts. Overall, the service at Top Tutors is excellent, and they are easily accessible when assistance is needed.

Beautiful Customer Service and Tutoring

Getting a tutor from Toptutor was an effortless experience. I called and was met by Olivia, who guided me through the options that are available and was asked my specific needs. I felt listened and understood in my situation. Olivia found me a tutor quickly, whom is brilliant and fit to my needs. I would reccomend Toptutors to anyone who needs one and hope they come across the excellent customer service that I got from Olivia.

We went from a 4 to a 12!

We used TopTutors for my sister, who is in the 8th grade, and the results have been incredible. She improved from a 4 to a 12 in maths, which we honestly didn’t think was possible in such a short time.

Before starting, we were quite skeptical about online tutoring. However, our tutor Vivi quickly changed that. She was professional, patient, and made the whole experience comfortable for our family. My sister felt supported and motivated, and it clearly showed in her progress.

TopTutors has our warmest recommendations.

I started at toptutors a few months ago…

I started at toptutors a few months ago as my brother really needed help. He was failing in all subjects and needed extensive work. We were a bit cautious with toptutors as we did not know if they would be able to help my brother since he was so incredibly behind. I spoke to Olivia from customer service about my concerns, and she found the most wonderful tutor, Valdemar. Valdemar and my brother get along so great, and now after only a few months we are seeing massive improvements. Since we travel so much (we are brazillians) we chose to try an online tutor so he could always get a lesson no matter where we were. I was very nervous for this, but it is going very well my brother had a lot of lessons in brazil. With the way my brother is now doing, i think he will pass his exams. His tutor is very supportive of this too and the very best help we could have gotten for my brother. My brother did not listen to the teachers in school very much, but valdemar gives him a lot of motivation to do his best and hes always excited to see him. Thank you toptutors for helping my brother and always helping immediately whenever we need it!!! And thank you to valdemar olsen for making my brother like going to school again.

Excellent experience

We had a truly excellent experience with TopTutors, especially thanks to the amazing work of Ida Borup.

From the very first day, Ida warmly welcomed our 7-year-old daughter, Ester. At that time, Ester spoke very little Danish, as we had only been living in Denmark for about a year. Ida accepted this challenge with kindness, patience, and great professionalism.

She was extremely versatile and creative, always bringing a lot of teaching materials adapted to Ester’s level. Ida helped Ester read her first Danish words, used many drawings and visual activities, which greatly helped Ester gain confidence and expand her vocabulary. She consistently encouraged Ester to speak more, helping her feel safer and more confident in communication.

Ida played a fundamental role in our family’s adaptation and in Ester’s progress with the Danish language. We could clearly see how much Ester developed thanks to her support and dedication.

I highly recommend Ida Borup as a tutor. She is an excellent professional and a wonderful teacher.

Absolut worst experience with this…

Absolut worst experience with this company and its organization. They did not find a tutor for me by the time my contract started but counted this time as used time in my subscription. Intricate and extremely inflexible hour system. Also many mistakes on their platform. Read your contract closely! The only positive aspect was the nice tutor. Happy I got out of it. It all felt like having a contract to a bad phone company with hidden charges.

Fantastic tutoring!

Sille Toft has been an absolute lifesaver for my daughter, helping her with her Danish homework and boosting her confidence with the language. Thank you

For most children, it is not what you learn, but how you learn, and every child learns differently. This is sometimes hard when in a class, following a herd system. Some like using traditional book based pproach, others like real case team project application while they play... Go figure. Top tutors have been a fantastic support and a great extra little help in getting my children to where they needed to be. They are friendly, responsive, flexible, and were able to taylor the help my children needed get the grades they achieved, especialy in areas where they were struggling and needed that extra guidance. Thank you

Great work

We are super happy with TopTutors work. Our daughter in 7th grade was bored with both Danish and Math. Benjamin came and turned the table and she started getting more engaged week by week and therefore got more positive attention at school which made her more engaged and secure. Thank you.
