Besides the sun being brutal yesterday which gave me an intense sunburn it was an amazing time with the Lan 'Ohana. The Mom came to Hawai'i for a client of her's... She brought her two daughters who are just as sweet as her, they're 6yrs and 8yrs. My normal Nannying shifts are about 10.5hrs, but this was by far the best 10.5hrs shift I ever worked. We took an 'ukulele lesson first thing, then spent 5.5hrs in the pools/jacuzzi, including having lunch poolside. After showers, we did some painting, the girls got popsicles, and then we designed and made Barbie dresses. We also read a cute and fun short book they brought with them. The Mom treated me to lunch (which makes sense since I was working), but she also treated me to some dinner (she invited me to actually join them, but I had to get going), and Turtle Bay has delicious food. This was actually the first time I got to meet Beverly, the CEO,"face to face," as she handled the interview this time. So that was also pretty cool.
