Been using TurGreen for a number of years and whilst their results haven't been perfect, their attempts at continually saving a lawn that was originally laid terribly has been mighty impressive.

The Gloucestershire team have always been super well informed and have provided great advice throughout.

Can’t speak for their lawn care, but the guy driving their fully printed up van in Banstead this evening at 18.05 cut me up on a mini roundabout because he was on his phone which he was holding to his ear!! A grey cased smart phone of management want to call him out. An absolute disgrace.

TruGreen have not been doing the work on our cricket pitch on the welsh borders for very long. But the improvement in the quality is fantastic. After the latest work and treatments last autumn and winter the grass this spring is thick and strong, not a bald or thin patch anywhere and no moss in evidence. It is the best it has ever looked, I hope our cricket can do it justice!

Trugreen always take care to advise on continuing lawn care and their treatments are effective. The staff have a good working knowledge and assess the state of the grass objectively. They are considerate of the householders requirements.

Avoid these people - misleading advertising and a rude Scottish lady calling from an 0131 number (not Sussex as advertised) who hung up on me when I wouldn't help her fill her form in....also unable to tell me if they covered my area. AVOID!

I’ve been in hospital for ages,and Will was very caring and kind,made the visit even better than normal,they locked up behind them and left me with advice,a great service.

We hired TruGreen to come and kill the weeds on our driveway and also at the back of our garden. They did this in the past and the result was great - no weeds for 6 months.
This time the weeds never went in the back and the ones in the front grew back right away.
When we asked what chemicals were used they would not tell us!
Apparently today someone came and resprayed our front drive - my wife did not see or hear anyone, despite having been sitting in the front room adjacent to our noisy gravel drive.
When she wrote and said this and told them she would be leaving a bad review, she was sent a hostile email about not threatening their company! They said they would come back and do the back garden again free of charge.
We told them we were not threatening them - we were just going to write a bad review and to not bother coming back. He says he will respond to this review. Note that we are not asking for our money back.
They used to be great - really nice to talk to etc, but something has definitely changed. The main guy was surly and quite unfriendly - very different from before.
Such a shame when companies go this way.

No problem with treatments generally although there seems to be a rapid turnover in staff. Thus there is no knowledge retained of the individual needs of each lawn and the type of soil and terrain.
However on at least 3 occasions I have been contacted by their admin staff to say I had not paid for my treatments. I am livid, I always present my cheque to the lawn technician on the day of the treatment . The first time they found one in a drawer and blamed someone for not processing it correctly The second time I found my bank statement to prove they had cashed the cheque but today they rang my husband accusing him of under payment . It turned out that they were looking at the wrong date. They didn’t ring to apologise for their error, I had to contact them at this point I told them to stuff their service. I have never bounced a cheque in my life !

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY.

The company visited my property, provided a quote to renovate my lawn and gave me a timetable to implement the works. I agreed to the quote and timetable.

On the Saturday before they were due to arrive on the Monday, I received an e-mail saying they would no longer be attending my property as they had staffing issues. I contacted the individual who runs the company in the UK and he apologised. When I asked if they were just proposing to delay he said no - they just weren't going to honour the contact.

I am sick of getting email spammed by this firm. I keep setting up rules in my email client to block them but they keep finding ways around it. TRUGREEN SPAMMING AND ANNOYING PEOPLE IS NOT A GOOD WAY TO GET BUSINESS!

I've had problems with my lawn (moss/weeds/patches) for years so I decided to seek professional help. I trawled the internet for a good lawn care service provider and found Trugreen. I spoke to Darren (the owner) who arrived at the time agreed and immediately set about taking soil samples and closely examining the grass/weeds/moss etc. Clearly Darren knows his lawns and after a long conversation about the types of treatments required and what care processes would be needed to achieve an optimum lawn he provided a very fair quote for a full lawn care plan for a year. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended service. Personalised for your garden. We are relatively new customers and the grass looks greener already. Helpful step by step advice as well as treatments. Takes the worry and hassle out of 'when' to mow, treat etc.

Awful company that spams you with mails. Any company that behaves in this manner to get your orders should be avoided.

I have been using TruGreen for over a year now and they do all the regular feeds but at £46 a go I don't really see much improvement in my lawn so seems like a rather expensive luxury really so will consider whether to continue with them if I can find another local lawn man.

If someone had bothered to call me after my on-line chat
