Ive bought 50 roses over the last three years and couldnt be happier. Id arranged a late holiday and was worried about missing delivery, a prompt email back with planned despatch date recieved on one occassion they couldnt provide one of my selections the email they sent asked if i would like to choose a replacement or receive a refund so cant fault them. Waiting patiently to see what is available this year just need to save lots of £ as choice blows my mind. Seeing all the roses in bud is exciting cant wait for them to open.
So this is what it feels like to get scammed
I placed a large order (TC2-224535) with them: a series of plants and two trees. I found the website very clear and easy to use. The pictures of the plants and trees were great. They show first class plants. They also charge 2x or even 3x the price so I assumed the products and service would be qualitative. This was my first mistake...
When the order arrived, I got a cardboard box of 1m on 0.8m with 42 plants in it and one tree on top. Needless to say that the small plants all over each other and they were smashed by the weight of the tree. The plants were in bad condition: a lot of brown leaves and a few green sprites coming out. I called them immediately, hoping to find a reason and solution. They said, this type of year, the plants were supposed to look like that.. Although my neighbours who have the same plants (from a different source) were fresh and mint, while I had very bad ones. They were not new/young plants as they tried to convince me on the phone as the small roots already came out of the plastic box below, so I had to cut open the container if I wanted to plant them.
On the website they say plants can be returned and they pay for it if it is a matter of quality. I told them I payed premium money for them and the products I got were not in line with this.
For instance: they charge 5.59 euro for tuincentrum DOT be/p/pennisetum-alopecuroides-hameln

Sadly I did not verify the prices enough this time and I was convinced by the pictures they showed although they can not live up to that standard. I dont mind paying a bit more if I get more quality, but this is not the case here.
They refused to pay for the shipping but told me, I could always return them by paying for the shipping myself. Of course, no natural person can easily ship 30+kg of goods. That is why they know returning goods will most likely not happen, since this often costs more than the products are worth or sometimes it is not simply possible as the post office only accepts packages up to 30kg. This is an example of fake customer service.
The tree was not protected during shipping. Only some simple cling film. Two (out of 5) branches broke during transport. Although I told them many times they are responsible for this and BY LAW the have to take it back on their costs, they refused and they only offered me a 25% discount. After a week of losing time calling them (and always having to write an additional mail as by phone they refuse to find a solution), I accepted the offer as I simply wanted to move on. I really feel scammed and they only thing I can do if prevent other people from buying there.
My advice: when you see the items you receive are not good: SIMPLY REFUSE THE SHIPMENT when being delivered

Ik heb een magnoliaboom besteld (met twee stammen), maar bij levering was één van de stammen duidelijk gebroken aan de basis. Dit is absoluut niet normaal — zeker niet voor een boom van €200. Niemand betaalt zo’n bedrag om een beschadigd product te ontvangen.
We hebben meerdere keren contact geprobeerd op te nemen: ik heb drie keer gebeld en telkens werd mij op een sarcastische toon gezegd dat ik “een e-mail zou ontvangen”. Tot op vandaag hebben we niets ontvangen. Daarom bleef ik terugbellen, maar zonder resultaat.
Wat nog erger is: er werd mij zelfs gezegd dat het “normaal” is dat een boom gebroken aankomt. Dit is gewoon niet waar. Wie zou het normaal vinden om een beschadigde boom te ontvangen voor deze prijs? Niemand.
Wij hebben niet eens meteen een terugbetaling geëist — we wilden gewoon een correcte, onbeschadigde boom in ruil. Maar zelfs dat blijkt onmogelijk te maken.
Zeer teleurstellende ervaring. Ik zou hier absoluut niet opnieuw bestellen en kan dit bedrijf niet aanbevelen.
I ordered a magnolia tree (with two stems), but when it arrived, one of the main stems was clearly broken at the base. This is absolutely unacceptable — especially for a tree that costs €200. Nobody pays that kind of money to receive a damaged product.
We tried contacting the company multiple times. I called three times, and each time I was told (in a very sarcastic way) that I would receive an email the same day. We never received anything. That’s why I kept calling back, but got no real solution.
What shocked me the most is that they even claimed it is “normal” for a tree to arrive broken. That is simply not true. Who would accept paying €200 for a broken tree? No one.
We didn’t even insist on a refund at first — we just wanted a proper replacement, a normal, undamaged tree. But they make it impossible.
Honestly, this feels like dealing with liars and scammers. They take your money but don’t want to take responsibility or provide a proper solution. We cannot accept a broken tree for €200 — this is unacceptable. What kind of service is this?
And this is happening in Europe? It’s shocking. Very disappointing experience — I would strongly advise others to avoid this company.

Impossible to get in touch with anyone for questions about the delivery that has not been delivered. The phone is disconnected immediately and no one answers emails. I bought plants for €622 and we don't know where they are and in what condition they are now after ten days on the road.
Tried to track the delivery with the logistics company but they didn't know anything.

Poor accountability and low responsiveness
I ordered a mid sized Japanse sierkers 'Autumnalis Rosea' for 225 Euros, I got the smaller version which only costs 163 Euros.
No apology for wrong order. No option to return and get the right size when its their mistake, they offer to refund not the full difference but only part of it.
Ofcourse its nothing like the pictures, and its just a big branch in a pot now, hopefully it blooms in spring. point being its not really all year round as advertised, but lets see how that works out.
Overall poor experience, do not recommend.
Robbed me of close to 400€ and more...
The delivery person let the plants in the middle of the road because "he cannot deliver further because there is a pavement!" just like in any street yes (the pavement is really regular pavement).
My partner ended up with a blocked back.
Oh and the best is I have paid €379,98 for 2 plants they have not delivered but pretend they did. They robbed my money plain and simple. Will NEVER order from them again and now I am happy to have to take time to sue them
Super super bad
Super super bad. Orderered 4 plans because they look super nice in their pictures. (1) The bird of Paradise had 3 dying sad leaves and 1 stem completely black. (2) The chinese money plant that was supposed to be 10-20cm was a soggy 5cm chunck of 4 sad leaves that had no roots and was not even inserted in the soil. It looks like it was stolen from a neighboring garden - trying to nurse her back to life... (3) one of the plants never arrived and only (4) one of them came out properly. After multiple calls and emails, the problem still hasn't been solved and I haven't received my refund
Do not use. Palnts damaged during transport and not of good quality.
I have bought a passion flower and a Japanese acer. They both very damaged during transport. the driver could not have cared less that he was transporting fragile plants. the passion flower got almost all new shoots damaged: I'm not sure if this is how it was before or if it was damaged during delivery. I have paid for a plant that was 80-100 cm high, however due to all the damage the plant is no no longer higher than 60 cm.
Advice to people who consider using this online shop: Don't. make an effort to go and buy from a physical shop so that you can chose the plants and transport them carefully.
Zero customer service & poor quality
Zero customer service from this place. I have sent seven emails and received no response. My full online order was not delivered and I am still waiting for my refund nearly 7 weeks later. Quality of delivered items was shocking. Definitely go elsewhere.
Terrible - Would not recommend!
Absolutely terrible experience. Firstly the plants arrived two days after scheduled delivery. The plants sat at the DPD in the warehouse for those two days and it shows. The plants—Hydrangea, Olive Tree, and Lavender—arrived half dead and in an extremely poor condition.
Given the price paid, you would expect these flowers to be in bloom. That was not the condition. These plants arrived and it is just the stem and a few leaves.

Very pleased
I Received my roses today. All 32 of them
:-D and I’m really impressed. Delivery has taken around 3 weeks from the time I placed my order, I live in the UK. Communication has been good through out and I have been updated on shipping details over the last few days. All the roses are healthy, green, in bud and with decent roots. I will definitely be making further purchases in the future. Thank you :-)
Nothing delivered
I ordered couples of bare root roses in August and they were supposed to be delivered in November. I still haven’t received anything in January and heard anything from them after 3 emails to their Customer Service.

Not happy!
Hello!
I am very disappointed by your service because I ordered a XXL 80-100cm Hortensie (blue) and I didn’t receive what I ordered. I received instead an 55cm plant (pink). It was a present 🎁 for friends of mine and couldn’t make a return immediately, they put it in a pot.
No delivery, no refund
I ordered from this company over a month ago. They managed to lose/destroy my order twice, and they still haven't refunded me to this day.

Dont go for online shopping of plants here...waste of money
Given a chance if i get to choose no star, i would choose that. Ordered plants for fencing - Portuguese laurel worth 150+ euros . Delivered after 5 days of delay, with absolutely no water the plants had all dried up and very weak. Send a mail and got response that I need to wait for a month and then callback. Why would i spend money and get dried up plants and again wait for a month....given a chance i wouldnt go for this company again. Such a non-ethical place to rely on. Suggest everyone who does an online shopping here, to prefer other places. I am passing this on to all i know.

COMPLAINT
1. Delivery of living plants not on set date. Instead of as requested one box on Thursday 27, one on Friday, one today Monday. Order placed June 21. Called customer service (had a gardener foreseen to plant all day on Saturday €€€), sent all info, as requested by spokesperson over the phone, by mail... No reply at all, although promised (so that I could eventually have postponed the gardener), not that Thursday, not on Friday, nor on Saturday, nor today, Monday. No phone no mail, nothing!
3. First box: two plants not healthy (eaten by bugs, the other one waiting to die).
4. Second box, plants were all dehydrated probably because of the long stay in the warehouse.
5. One package with rose bulbs not sent.
I'm so disappointed, the total amount was rather high (for me €169,89 is a lot). I have little hope to get the missing rose bulbs. All in all, a VERY POOR customer service. Never again.

Great after sale care to damaged products
Despite the fact that my order arrived damaged, I received prompt and good after sale care, and I am happy with the resolution offered. I wish the order was as expected in the first place though.
