False advertisement for luxury brand
I have been using Tulu without a hitch since it was installed in my building years ago. This year however proved challenging when the Theragun pro broke. When I complained, they advised me that they would notify me when the issue was resolved which took over 2 months. When I rented the new item they replaced the theragun pro with, I noticed it was a lot smaller and less effective. The retail value of the theragun they replaced it with it $159 while the previous gun was worth $659. Initially I believed someone in the building stole the expensive one and replaced it with a knock off because Tulu was still advertising the more expensive theragun. After reaching out to customer service they advised that the investigation was complete. When I went back into the Tulu app I noticed that they were now advertising the cheaper theragun however the price to rent it did not change. I would assume if you downgrade a luxury item the rental price should also be adjusted.
After this experience, I don't have faith in Tulu as a luxury brand. It feels unprofessional and unethical that they would avoid replacing an item with the exact same item and then gaslight me into accepting a subpar product at the same price. I will be in contact with my management team.
