More cracked toilet seats

All 3 of my Roca Debba toilet seats have had to replaced due to cracking, all under 3 years old. Contacted Roca customer care but zero response. The product has a design flaw and the company has service issues.

First Class customer service

I made a suggestion to Roca with the design of the Dama Senso soft close seat, which I thought could be improved.
I had replaced mine in 2022 after the fixing points to the seat failed again, I was told by Elliot that this seat is now discontinued, but he kindly had one left in stock which was sent to me free of charge. I was delighted with their customer service which I cannot praise highly enough.

Overpriced poor quality products and terrible spares service

Bought two shower columns form them three or four years back. Very expensive (about £1600 in total) and frankly the quality does not justify the price. One of them in the last few months failed, the rubber mat inside the rainfall head having warped and shrunk to the point that half the nozzles had retracted back inside the metal body/plastic cartridge. Getting the replacement part (at £94) from them was then ridiculously slow - over 6 weeks from paying for it to actually receiving it. I don't know how any company can think that is reasonable - did it come by camel all the way from China ?

Sadly poor quality products

Sadly poor quality products; finish lacks proper quality control, is a shame as this used to be a top brand, not any more, their products now look like seconds.

I contacted Roca regarding a broken toilet seat. I needed a replacement but as the unit had been fitted years ago, I didn't know the correct item number. Alice was very helpful and gave me the up to date code number. thank you Alice.

Roca smart Toilet out of the box non functional

Roca Indonesia sold me a smart
Toilet. It was DOA. They installed and it didn’t. Switch on. The technicians left and told us they will be back in a few days. Leaving the sewage pipe open. The smell the next days was horrible. The seller doesn’t take responsibility Roca Indonesia delays replacing it. Highly advisable do not buy Roca products

Corresponded with Elliott in Customer Service concerning an issue with a toilet seat and received an immediate response offering a direct updated replacement although out of actual warrranty.
This assistance was much appreciated.

Roca vanity unit under sink paint…

Roca vanity unit under sink paint delaminated.
Bright aluminium underneath so no primer and paint not keyed in.
Same problem as Keith reported in Sept 2025.
I have just bought the house so have no recall on the fitter or supplier.

My Email 1 to Roca:
Hi
Please see the rusted toilet seat hinge in photos attached.
The toilet is in an ensuite that is used very infrequently due (Daughter bedroom) to my daughter working away for the last 2 years.
This is a Bloor newbuild with 4 Roca toilets.
We completed on 30/06/2024 and moved into the house around December 2024 (due to other issues with the Newbuild)

Corrosion of seat pins is normally caused by cleaning products and inadequate maintenance especially when it comes to drying the hinge pins with soft cotton cloth after cleaning. This is not caused by a defect in the manufacture of the hinges.

I'm sorry but this would not be covered under warranty

As part of your explanation for the corroded hinge can you explain why the other hinge on the same toilet seat has not corroded?
This assumes that your 'normally caused by cleaning products and inadequate maintenance especially when it comes to drying the hinge pins with soft cotton cloth after cleaning.' explanation has any merit.
Furthermore there are a total 4 toilets in the house and there is no corrosion on the other 3 sets of toilet hinges - please explain.
Please let me know so I can share this with the many neighbours (105 so far) in our Whatsapp group that may be experiencing the same problem.

Damaged Toilet Seat

We have recently moved into a new build property and there was an issue with the toilet seat. We contacted Roca Customer Services and Megann kindly organised a replacement which was with us in 2 days. Excellent service!

Toilet seat damaged in use

I contacted Roca regarding a toilet seat that was damaged in use shortly after installation. The wall mounted WBC’s seat had chipped when it touched the wall when being raised. I contacted Roca via their customer service form late one evening. The following day Megann contacted me for further details which I provided immediately. Within 24 hours Megann contacted me to say a replacement was in transit which I received within 3 Days. The measure of a great business is measured by their response and in this case was exceptional

Roca Uk rep a credit to the company

We have been installing Roca products regularly for years , we always find to be of a high quality , making them our go to brand.

Recently we have had some interactions with Tim Jones of Roca to assist us with a job and from Tim’s first involvement he was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful towards us , he is a credit to the company and now our go to man if we need any assistance.

We bought a new house 5 years ago and…

We bought a new house 5 years ago and all the bathrooms had Roca products. I first contacted them just over a year ago when one of the toilets started to have a slight leak from where the seat attached. It was replaced using my NHBC.
I had to contact them again earlier this week in regards to one toilet seat breaking, and another having a hairline crack in exactly the same place. The two new seats arrived today. Brilliant after sales service.
