I have to thank you ...Cost me 5 hrs of me life. Still don't have it fixed. After 25 + years of having the same email account. That is tied to everything in my life. You decided to black mail me into paying a monthly add free subscription fee for $4.99 to stop annoying pop up adds.. only add that was annoying was the Yahoo Mail plus add still is.. In trying to get rid of your annoying pop-up telling me about it everytime I deleted an add.. I accidentally deleted about 20 important documents and emails, I was dealing with at this time. Spent 3 more hrs trying to get back into my account and then got locked out because my Yahoo mail pass word and my AT&T pass word password are different. And the app was sending pass codes into an account I couldn't get into to read them.! Because I couldn't open my account?? Road rage can't even begin to explain how pissed I am at your Yahoo Mail Plus App and AT&T. Some of it was my fault but once I actually moved it..? The app wouldn't let me move it back. Then when I tried to isolate my important emails and delete the others and get them out of the way. It deleted them all. I'll tell you right now Verizon is looking better and better everyday. After the price increase I just had and then dealing with the sales person at the At&t store tying to fix it. He was more worried about getting me on a new phone plan instead of fixing the problem with my phone bill and getting my wife's phone repaired. All he wanted was his commission on a new sale. I'm about done..!

Absolutely useless- I was charged to be connected to Just Answer who said they could not help and I should try calling the Yahoo helpline who wanted futher payment. I did not give Yahoo the recovery email address they want to send a code to. They must have collected this from my browsing history. Unfortunately I created the yahoo account to replace the old email as it had become premium rate so I no longer have access to it. If I could have given this review 0 start I would have

I have tried to login in to my e-mail addresses for several days from my mobile app that's not even opening up properly. I tried to delete it and download it again and it's stil not working. I had the same issue on my computer and I have tried every possible way to login via probably a hundred links and the yahoo.com pages doesn't even open up. I have lost already 15-20 hours of work to reset my e-shop and now I have lost access to my Google Business account and some social media too that I need to run my business. It's really awfully frustrating and even more frustrating that I couldn't find any way to get support anywhere and there's no information at all how to get in touch with them. This issue has cost me a lot of time and a lot of money. I will have to spend another 2-3 days to update all contacts and apps and social media platforms with my new e-mail address which is gmail now. I recommend to never ever use this unreliable e-mailing platform. I had issues a year ago also and it was very frustrating. This is the worst platform I have ever used. Awful!

Without any notice my “alias” email account on yahoo email stopped working today. It worked yesterday and my account email address still works. Yahoo’s customer support is online Q&A only (no contact person) and this is not one of the questions supported so I have no means of addressing this with yahoo. I use this account for medical portals and now have no access!

These people are either total idiots or nasty assholes - or both. They have taken a useful and simple email system and ruined it with their capricious changes. I'm sorry I ever signed up with Yahoo and don't recommend anyone to make this mistake; you will regret it.
From the getgo, I should've known that any group so unknowledgeable as to use the term Yahoo without thinking of it in reference to Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels, where the Yahoos are stupid and crude beasts, would be stupid and crude people.

I have been on the Internet since March of 1996 and I've have been used Yahoo, Comcast, Eudora and a couple other email platforms since that time, so I think it's fair for me to say that I'm somewhat of an "expert" about this subject?

Why Eudora bit the dust I don't know, but it was the Crown Jewel of email platforms, then it folded up and went away like a used tampon, never to be seen, or cared about again!!!

Then we have the King of scammer activity - Gmail.

I think so much of Gmail that I blocked it on my website (MarketplaceUSA.com) to make it what I believe is, the ONLY scammer-free website on the planet, and that has worked very well for me.

And now we have the final piece of garbage, Yahoo!!!
Do you know ANYONE that subscribes to a service website, knowing or hoping that they will receive 30 or 40 JUNK emails from hookers, scammers, or advertisers of products that you will NEVER have a use for every day?

Well, welcome to the world's greatest purveyor of smut and GARBAGE that you'll never want to buy - Yahoo!

And if you seriously think that Yahoo is going to honor your request that the DO something about that, you can kick rocks, because it's NOT going to happen!!

And if you try got get away from their abuse by switching to an older version of Yahoo you are sadly mistaken because if you do that, their early versions of Yahoo don't allow you to block a sender!!!

And if you want to talk to their "customer support" you have to PAY THEN to do that!!!

And for Trust Pilot, I BEG you to make it possible for the public to select NO stars for their ratings, because Yahoo certainly deserves that "Honor"!!!!

If you want to see the best email platform that ever was, come back to life, send an email to the Computer History Museum and ask them to update and put Eudora back on the map!! You can contact the "Computer History Museum" in California to do that!!!

I changed my phone number and I tried to change my phone number with yahoo, but I got locked out of my account. I tried to recover my email by adding using the recovery options, well I gave them my alternate email, but the only other option was to use my old phone number, I couldn't use that. I contacted online chat and Sylvester helped me. Sylvester told me to go to recovery.yahoo.com and there would be a code provided once I put in my email address. I opened up another browser and followed the instructions and no code. I told him that there was no code, so he asked for my phone number to send a link and scan a copy of my drivers license, so I did that. I got a message saying that unfortunately they cannot verify me. Sylvester apologized and said try back later.Like who in the heck else can I be. I've been me my whole life. I'm verified by the government so what's yahoo problem. I'm confused. Why would I try back later with the same information that they said was not verifiable. Make it make sense. They a nightmare to verify email address. This is a mess from hell!!! I asked for a manager, he said unfortunately, they use the same system they cant help you neither. I'm thinking because Im black he's giving me a hard time. A mess.

Yahoo! appears to have a fault. For the whole of yesterday (Mon 14 Sept 2026) it has been crashing. Same thing today. Every 10 seconds, or so, it freezes. Please fix!

Yahoo Emails are a joke , I haven’t been able to get any of my Emails for months, one of their robots told me to delete the App and reload , I’ve been trying to do this now for months . Just keep getting sent around in circles, the help line is as useful as a chocolate fire guard , I tried and tried going through all the recovery procedures without success, no help from a human available , how many people lives have been messed up by yahoo , it’s a joke of a company

Just a waste of time for ad space. Their feed is amateur at best. Their censorship is horrific, making it completely useless. Days late and dollars short. They need to ride off into the sunset.

Customer service is complete garbage .She could not walk me through on how to fix my email account and she effin hung up on me she had so much of a foreign accent a English speaking person struggles understanding her and just ran me around in circles for 45 minutes of wasted time ! ..Yahoo customer service is rude and unhelpful and then they hang up on you ! ..Yahoo yall are not any good !

What amazes me most is the sheer arrogance of this company, they couldn't give a flying phuck about there customers, and any response (if any) is just a copy and pasted message probably written by the janitor who has a higher I.Q than anyone else employed by this company, So unless you want to be treated like something that has to be scrapped off your shoe do not solicit the services of this company.

I paid for a fantasy football league that it let me pay for and join but to draft I have to download the app and my phones too old, they let me pay but not play, help said pretty sorry but noting we can do

I've tried numerous times to respond to an article that Yahoo wrote. I'm going by their guidelines, but I'm not agreeing with the slant of their article. It's amazing how the system works with what's acceptable to be posted and what isn't. This has happened often. Time for me to change platforms

I wish I could give less. Appalling lack of ANY customer service, not even a bad one. They refuse to speak to you in any form. I am constantly battling to log into my email from the browser these days, because they have created a loop of double/triple/whatever extra security steps (not optional, I never approved or ask for any of those), I never get the notifications I am supposed to get on my other device, the password is "wrong" (if we ignore the fact it works when I log in on other devices of course), and sometimes there is not even a reason, "unfortunately" the access is not available at the moment. I am still with them cause migrating years of work/contacts will be such a pain, but I can't see another option. Even their bot is rude, which is a new experience! It mocks you and gets all sassy! Congratulations for firing all the humans, it is obviously going very well.

Finally and ONLY thanks to Sky.,I have my email back! LEAVE THE APP ALONE!!

It is beyond ridiculous that they make so many changes that are NOT necessary but sure make it worse!!! With the latest changes I can’t organize my emails by sender and I just spent an hour with their ai help which of course was USELESS!!! Now I am just pissed and considering using any other mail service but Yahoo…seems today companies just don’t understand that there is NO need to fix something that is NOT broken!!! 🤬🤬🤬

My email account remains suspended, that is, I am unable to send or receive messages, even though I have deleted all the messages with large attachments that I don't need any longer, which means that my account's storage quota is not just complying with your maximum 15GB storage quota but now amounts to only 8 or 9GB. Yahoo is acting like this to force me to buy extra storage but still its Customer Care team is trying to make me believe that the issue with my account has to do with the web browser I am using. I have a degree in Computing Science and I know for sure that Yahoo is making my account remain suspended regardless of the fact that its storage quota complies with Yahoo's 15GB maximum storage quota and I am very disappointed at Yahoo's practices and ethos and at being treated as if I was stupid.
