The work all seems to have been carried out well and as my roofer is a perfectionist he wouldn’t’ Have accepted more. Time is still on the early stage and I am still learning how it all works , but the system seems to be a really good idea., and I am hoping that it will do what I want, only time will tell that. The workmanship seems to be very good and tidy, but I do think that a review would be better in another 6 -12 months time

Highly recommended!
We have used UK Alternative Energy Ltd on several occasions. They service our ASHP yearly and set the system up to work more efficiently and better than the original installers.
Recently the Inverter for our Solar Panels stop working. We discovered the installer had gone into liquidation. UK Alternative Energy Ltd helped us with everything and the system is now up and running again. From the office staff to the engineers everyone is professional, knowledgable and curtious. Highly recommend them.

Whilst we didn’t buy we would recommend …
We don’t ultimately buy solar panels and battery but that’s the reason for the review. It’s easy for companies to sell you something that won’t be value for money or what you need. This company didn’t. On the initial visit we were told the difficulties with our property and its position and how it would potentially not really work for us. We were very grateful for the honesty and integrity of this company and its staff. In a world of people making money out of you however that can this was a real breath of fresh air!
If we move and have a property that would work we will be straight back in contact!!

Uk alternative energy look after three…
Uk alternative energy have looked after three of my GSHP units for a number of years and recently installed a new air source unit for us. They are very easy to contact and communication is great along with their fitter Steve who is very knowledgeable and helpful

We’ve worked with UK Alternative Energy on three separate projects over time — starting with air conditioning, followed by a battery system, and most recently solar panels — and the experience has been excellent throughout.
What really stands out is the consistency. Across each installation, the team have been professional, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. There’s a genuine focus on understanding what you need and designing the right solution, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
Each installation has been smooth and well organised. The engineers are punctual, respectful, and clearly take pride in their work — everything has been completed to a very high standard.
Now that everything is in place, the system is performing brilliantly. We’re already seeing the benefits of being largely grid-independent, and the air conditioning has been a great addition to the house as well.
Overall, a very professional outfit with strong technical expertise and a consistently high-quality customer experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend UK Alternative Energy.

I DID FEEL THAT THE CALL OUT CHARGE OF £100 WAS A LITTLE EXCESSIVE TOGETHER WITH A FURTHER £860 10P.
BUT THEY GOT US WARM AGAIN

After moving into a new property I had an issue with the solar system that had been installed by this company.
I called them and got through to a real person straight away, which is rare enough nowadays. They promised someone would get back to me, and within a couple of hours someone did contact me and after a few messages back and forth,managed to solve my issue - which had nothing to do with their installation or equipment but was caused by a third party.
Excellent experience all round.
