Ultimate Ear Protection Reviews

Ultimate ear are an excellent company to deal with, very helpful and there service was very fast. Each step they notify you.

This was for the motorcycle filtered -23decibel ear plugs.
I sent them my own ear impressions I had made locally.

For someone who really does like ear sticking things in his ears these are quite reasonably comfortable(use a spot of their supplied ear cream to insert and they will be as good as ear plugs can ever be).

I bought them to reduce wind noise, especially on windy days when it is louder and tiresome, they do the job.

Bare in mind that these will mute all sound, so if you enjoy riding whilst listening to you engine/exhaust note(some bikes are worth listening to) these plugs will mute a lot of the best sounds. Not the companies fault it is just how it works.
Because of this I intend to use them on the more noisy(windy) days when it's harder to hear the bike anyway.

Very good product waited till used before giving feedback all good

All good, quick turnaround well run company, communication was first class.

An excellent product. Despite being told my ear plugs could take 20 odd days to arrive I had mine back within a week! They work brilliantly! The noise of the bike is silenced to a more than acceptable level now. I can listen to my music and be on comms without further damaging my ears. Well worth the investment!

Easy peasy, appointment made close to me to get the ear impression. I was then kept up to date on how the ear defenders where coming along.

Now in my 70’s I have ridden every year without a break since passing my test as a teenager. I have used foam ear plugs for many years to reduce potentially harmful wind noise and thought I would give these Ultimate moulded plugs a try. Fantastic! Getting the mould done on each ear canal is a bit of a faff but the end result has proved far superior in reducing noise levels compared to the off the shelf foam inserts.

Fanstatic service, I required them quickly so paid the extra for premium serivce. This is my second set however I wanted new impressions done so within 24hours of ordering they had suggested a location for them to be complete, asked for some dates via email and within the same day my appointment was booked.

Ear impressions shipped the same day, recieved the next day and my near SoundEar Pros were delivered the same week.

Tremendous service, would recommend the company to anyone.

As mentioned, I ordered the SoundEar pro's, for use on a motorcycle with a Cardo headset with the 2 piece cable - fantastic product.

Good service , great product

I had existing digital prints of my ear on file with Ultimate ear.
From phone call to delivery was less the two weeks quoted to me.
The ear plugs fit perfectly, and very comfortably, keeping the wind out during surfing.

This is a replacement pair. The previous ones lasted for over 6 years giving me excellent protection in great comfort.

Super fast deleivery and great communication through the process. A great product and fantastic company to work with.

The process was easy and the results are brilliant.

Good service, and the product is well made. Very happy.

Very good communication and updates while my ear plugs were made.
And really high quality.
I’m very pleased.
5 stars!

Customer service is an issue still being ignored/ghosted by the Company after complaining about fit issues. Sent them back twice for refitting; currently having to use the plugs as refused a refund on the moulds, not fit for purpose very dissapointed. Hope to find a better company (or) for this company to get in touch and resolve the fit issues/do the right thing. Then I can update this review.

Used for first time on bike got the filtered plugs like night and day difference to my old earplugs ,blocked 90% of wind noise could still hear bike hold conversations ,comfortable very pleased with purchase recommend .

As expected, they fit great and you easily forget you're wearing them on a long trip. Quality is excellent. Would overall recommend other any standard ear plugs I've tried.

The only 2 relative downsides are the ordering process which is a bit complicated - took quite a while to get an audiologist appointment for moulds to be made, then had to post the moulds myself etc, meant a fairly long wait to actually get the product. I understand that now that they have the moulds any subsequent orders should be straight forward. The other issue is the need for lubricant to put the earplugs in, not a big deal but ads yet another step to my daily commute prep...

The musicians ear plugs are amazing,
The company is amazing,
After a while you actually feel like your not even wearing them as the fit is perfect!!

This company truly went above and beyond! From start to finish, their customer service was exceptional, topped off by lightning-fast delivery that I wasn’t expecting. The product itself is fantastic. If you're considering purchasing a pair of custom ear protectors, don’t hesitate—these guys won’t let you down!
