Should Have Checked with Trust Pilot First

On 6th April this year I paid for a One Year subscription to Le Monde through Uni Presse (subscription no. 260406154055W) . I was told it would take two weeks to be processed which was a bit odd because it was digital but nonetheless I waited. After three weeks I had received nothing so I logged on to find that some time after I had paid, my subscription had been terminated for no reason and with no explanation. I sent off an email to Uni Presse (in English which I thought was justified because their website is in French, English and Spanish) asking for an explanation. I have never received an answer to that email. After a few weeks I sent off an email in French. After a lengthy period of time I got a vague and irrelevant reply. I then sent off an email to FEVAD and was told to wait three weeks. I waited six and then sent off a second to which I was told to wait three months. This is bizarre because here in New South Wales, the Department of Fair Trading would deal with something like this in a matter of days. So it looks like France does not have effective regulation of it's eCommerce. Judging from the other reviews, Uni Presse have being doing this sort of thing for quite a while. I had a One Year subscription for Le Monde with Uni Presse about four years ago and everything worked fine so something must have changed. Management perhaps? Anyway, looks like I've lost my $600 so the lesson is "Always Check with Trust Pilot" before handing over your hard-earned.

I never received any answer to my…

I never received any answer to my emails and impossible to get through on the phone.Consequently I have cancelled the subscription as there is a lack of customer service.

Terrible Customer Service

Terrible Customer Service. I have paid for an annual membership of 2 magazines. Have emailed them about not receiving the magazines and had zero response. I have tried ringing them at the right time - the phone rings to no avail and the answering machine if full. This is ridiculous.

Spirou not delivered

We get Spirou delivered to us in Ireland using Unipresse.
Spirou should come to us weekly by postal service, the cost of sending Spirou to Ireland is about double the price it would cost in a ‘kiosk’ in France.
1. We have had delivery issue from the start of our subscription in Nov2022.
2. We have contacted Unipresse numerous times about these issues.
3. As the delivery either does not happen or is late, we have asked to stop the subscription as there is a clear breach of contact, and getting reimbursed of the rest of the subscription. We are not getting any reply to this request.
Total let down in terms of service and poor customer service as our issue is still not fixed. I feel we need to babysit our subscription, but we don’t have time for this.
Waste of money and waste of time is the summary of our dealings with Unipresse

Doesn't work !

Just don't ! I was so glad to find a way to get my favorite magazines delivered to the US. It never worked and I'm having the hardest time cancelling the subscriptions and getting reimbursed.
The customer service is unreachable if you live abroad (Monday to Friday, 8am-12.30pm, 3pm-5pm, France times). They answer emails but nothing happens next.

Unreliable

Unreliable, I received deux magazine in 6 months and still getting email from customer service saying everything is fine with my annual monthly subscription. AVOID
