Uniserve has lost TWO of my packages…

Uniserve has lost TWO of my packages now. I think it says all you need to know that reviews are mixed--negstive reviews are about delivery delays, equipment failure, and other issues that affect the customer, while the positive reviews focus on how inclusive the company is for its employees. Here's a thought: customers don't care how much you coddle your employees if they can't get the job done. Get people who know what they are doing. I don't care what they look like or what they do in their personal time. I just want them to DO THEIR DAMN JOB when they're on the clock. This shouldn't be hard to understand. Two separate packages??? I have never had a single lost shipment before this. Delayed? Sure, but at least I was informed. My packages have been missing, are now late by a week, and nothing has been said for nearly two weeks. No updates, no notification of delay, nothing. At this point, Uniserve is officially the worst shipping company on the planet. My advice? Spend your money on some good walking shoes and deliver your shipment on foot. Your customer will get their product faster than with Uniserve.

Beware so called 'rental charges'....

We used Uniserve to import packaging materials following a local recommendation. All seemed to go quite well, notwithstanding incorrect billing queries, until we finally received an unwarranted invoice for storage charges, ie rent for our goods (in their own facility) due to delays in obtaining clearance. Some £1456 of charges!
Months of trying to resolve bought this sum down to £1000 (so called client rate!!) and an offer of further reductions on future business booked.
The account manager admitted he did not attach details of such extraneous charges to his quote yet that does not prevent Uniserve from chasing what they consider is due to them - and very profitable it must be too for them to just levy a concocted rental on your goods! We will unfortunately not conduct further business with this organisation and would urge would be customers check thoroughly terms and conditions before engaging, as though the personnel come across as very personable and friendly (and they are) the end result for us is rather different in having to accommodate such unexpected expenditure.

We had used pallet storage for many…

We had used pallet storage for many months and so decided to try their re-packaging service whereby cases of 24 bottles were and placed into cases of 12 for postal delivery and bottles re-labelled. The work was extremely poorly carried out. There were two product lines and the labels were mixed up between them, many were put on very crooked, and the boxes were incorrectly assembled with a key insert left out. Problems were acknowledged and rework promised and I trusted them and paid the invoice. My attempts to either have the works rectified, or a refund are being ignored following three requests at director level.

Having read the only other review here

Having read the only other review here, I am a little bit unsure that reviewing a large logistics company based solely on their own analysis of whether the driver of one truck, on one particular day, was at fault for a near collision. Especially when that reviewer has given a one star rating for all of the numerous reviews they have made.

My personal experience of dealing with Uniserve Group has always been a positive one and I am sure if the reviewer had contacted them through any of their numerous channels, he would have got a positive and sympathetic response to any issues he had.

Anyway we've worked with Uniserve on many occasions over the past 3 years and found them to be excellent.
