I recently moved in with US and the experience overall was good. Grace was really helpful and professional.

I had an issue with an incorrect parking charge issued for my rented parking bays at Saxton Gardens, despite being a legitimate paying tenant for both spaces.
Urban Splash’s Residential Administrator, Roisin, was extremely helpful, professional, and responsive throughout the process. She took my concerns seriously, contacted UKCPS directly on my behalf, and successfully helped get the charge cancelled in full.
It was refreshing to deal with a company that genuinely supports its tenants and is willing to intervene when mistakes happen. Their communication was clear, efficient, and fair.
I truly appreciate the support I received and would highly recommend Urban Splash for their excellent customer service and commitment to doing the right thing.

I recently moved into Boatshed and have had a very positive experience so far. The working environment is enjoyable, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, with everything needed for day-to-day business operations. The location is also very convenient, with excellent accessibility and nearby amenities.
One of the standout aspects has been the support from the on-site team. The transition and handover process were smooth and efficient, and Lindsay, the building manager, provided a comprehensive and welcoming introduction. This made settling in quick and hassle-free.
Having an on-site manager is a real advantage, as any queries are handled promptly and professionally. The shared spaces and facilities are a great addition, and contribute to an overall pleasant working atmosphere.
Overall, Boatshed offers a great balance of convenience, functionality, and support, and I would highly recommend it as a workspace.

The company took a little bit of time to get back in touch after the initial contact but from there Roisin Wallace was very helpful and very responsive, very happy with the outcome and she did a great job of helping

We’ve recently become tenants at Beehive Mill and honestly couldn’t be happier.
From the start, Kelly was amazing! Super helpful, responsive, and always went out of her way to make the whole process easy for us.
Carl and Ben have also been incredible. They genuinely feel like the heart of the building. Always around, always happy to help, and nothing ever seems like too much trouble. They’ve both made a big difference to our experience here already.
It’s rare to come across a place where the people make such an impact, but that’s exactly what you get at Beehive Mill. We’re really looking forward to being here for the long term.

Had a really good experience with Urban Splash Leeds, had a few minor issues but these were sorted very quickly! Special mention to Dom who went above and beyond to make the whole process from start to finish really smooth, he was really helpful and would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to move to the area.

Really great company as every time I have needed assistance or support they have been really helpful. I have primarily spoken to Roisin who has always been extremely helpful, understanding, and informative. Everyone is really polite and I can’t really fault their services at this moment in time.

We have been a tenant of the Boatshed since January 26 and have had a fantastic experience. The handover process was really easy, lots of information and hand holding. Particular thanks to Lindsay who is our Building Manager and is always contactable and willing to help. Amenities on-site at Exchange Quay are fantastic - Restaurant with discounted breakfast and lunch (really good food), coffee shop, gym, post office and shop. Lunchtime walks down the river and 10 minute walk over to Salford Quays, and an outdoor area for lunch in the sun!

Dom from saxton was always prompt and super helpful from me moving in to 5 years later moving out. Was hard work getting responses from other members of urban splash at times, but Dom was very much an exception to that.

From seeing the apartment to signing for it, Dom was fantastic. He sorted a suitable moving in date and additional requests with no issue which made the process seamless. Communication was quick and easy too. Great service.

Great experience renting in Park Hill flats the past 2 years. Great location to be so close to the station and Norfolk Park pretty nearby. Felt peaceful even though it wasn’t far from the city centre. Lovely residents association with lots of people living at the flats that want to get involved in community building and looking out for each other. David Lewus at Urban Splash who deals with the letting and is and on site most of the week was great and always really responsive.

Dom at Urban Splash has been incredibly helpful throughout this whole process. As a first time renter I had an abundance of questions. He was very patient and informative. Thank you!

Moved into our new home today, the process was much easier and faster compared to what I'm used to with letting agencies.
Especially shout out to Grace for being so responsive and helpful during the process :)

Derwent House, Birmingham
I lived at Derwent House for 16months and am writing this review to ensure people understand what they’re getting in to. Development looks cool…BUT that is where the positives end…
MANAGEMENT
-unresponsive management team (weeks of being ignored on email for maintenance issues as well as admin issues relating to apartment inspections/deposit returns)
SAFETY CONCERNS
-regular access issues with fob system causing fire safety concerns (e.g. back gate fob not working for months, front door fob system not working for weeks, internal door systems not working - even when pressing an exit release). Safety concerns aside, it’s pretty basic to want to be able to access your home without complication
ENERGY COSTS
-as a tenant you are locked into using the management companies gas supplier (required for heating / hot water). During winter months - you can expect a bill of +£300 per month for hot water and the under floor heating for a 1 bed studio apartment (they’ll claim settings of the system can be optimised, but it’s never successfully been done by anyone I’ve spoken to in the building. Have heard horror stories of £700 a month bills!). There is then of course the standard electric bill on top of that. Given you’re locked into using the energy supplier - you’re stuck once you’re in
COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT
-ignore any claims there is a community or benefits. One event was hosted in the 16months I was there
WASTE MANAGEMENT
-waste management is poor. Bins and recycling piling up to the point it actually obstructs access to the building sometimes!
Wish I had seen an account of someone’s experience of this development prior to signing. Hopefully this review will help you make the right decision if you’re considering it.
Thanks,
Simon
