I bought a Canon color imageClass MF663Cdw printer 6 months ago, and it is BY FAR the worst printer I've ever had. I constantly have to re-start it, and that's only helpful in getting the printer to work some of the time. I've wasted HOURS trouble-shooting to no avail, and even dragged my tech-savvy husband into the mix who concluded that I've wasted both my time and money on this product. I regret buying this printer and will be extremely wary of purchasing any other Canon products in the future.

I have bought Canon printers for over 50 years but now

I am an 80 year-old customer who has purchased Canon and HP printers for all of my life
Over the last 10 years, I have purchased four of the Canon MF249dw printer series because the hinges on two of them broke, I had spare cartridges and it was cheaper to buy a new printer, than to fix the hinges
I have two homes and use my Canon printers only six months out of the year and in each home my main printer is an HP and the HP printers last for decades
I feel canon knowingly used wrongly engineered printers for over a decade that put too much stress on the cheap plastic hinges that they could’ve spent a few cents more but instead cheaper out

Do not ever think about spending your money on an Canon Sigma printer.
They might be cheap but within a year they are dead.
Mine says there is a paper blockage (but there is not) and every other time I go to print (when it was working) it tries to make me order ink (although my ink is full).
Stay away. Canon are bad bad con artists..

There's nothing Canon can do except go out of business. I gave 1 star because that's the lowest I could give but honestly I give them negative 5 stars. Don't waste your money like I did. Twice I bought Canon printers, twice they broke down outta nowhere. The last one was brand new with only 30 prints to its name. Everybody needs to just stop wasting their time. All their printers are trash! And I don't have constructive feedback, and I dont care what anybody thinks about this review. Their products are all trash can level

Canon Printer Pixma TS-3722

I bought this cheap Canon printer for traveling by car. I hooked it up 3 days ago. The process was not too bad although typically more difficult than one would expect. I do not need to use often so it was unplugged. Today, the 3rd morning, I plugged it in and received an update firmware note. OK, this should not be a big deal...right? Apparently not, there is no (OBVIOUS) button to click to update the software, similar to any other electronic office machine made. I have been looking around the program, next online via search & finally on their website. Unfortunately, everything I have found is not factual compared to the actual printer software or works. How could something this simple possibly be this time consuming? IDK, luckily it is cheap so it will go into the trash as soon as it stops working. Needless to say I will not purchase another Canon product because life is too short to deal with a company like this.

Why in 2026, I have to waste hours to connect freaking printer to my PC???

The hardware works fine once it is connected, but the setup process is an absolute waste of time. We are in 2026, yet the official installation wizard completely fails to detect the printer on a standard home Wi-Fi network.
The instructions provided by the software are completely wrong for this model. The guide tells you to tap touch icons and menus that do not even exist on this printer's physical button panel. During the setup, the printer got completely stuck in a loop, forcing me to turn it off and back on just to clear the screen.
Ultimately, I had to completely abandon the official setup application. The only way to make it work was to manually navigate through the printer's tiny settings screen, log into my Wi-Fi directly, and use Windows to discover the device.
The software and setup guide need serious updates. If you buy this, prepare to spend a lot of unnecessary time just getting it configured

Never again

I usually go to Staples to order ink or sometimes if they are out, I will order it online and it arrives in two days. I ran out of ink this time and a message from Cannon popped up asking if I wanted to order ink from them so I said sure. Two weeks later still have not received the ink. I called twice and they keep telling me I have to wait an additional two more days even though the tracking has stalled over a week now with no updates. Never ordering from here again. Who could wait two weeks for ink!?!?
Update. After three weeks of waiting, they said they would FedEx another shipment, but that took another week. Ridiculous.

Canon supports fluffs you off

I bought a Canon all in 1 printer, copier, scanner from BestBuy.com to use with a MacBook Air laptop. The printer was designated as an AirPrint-enabled printer and supposedly easy to set up. After HOURS of trying, I was unable to get the printer to recognize the scanner. BestBuy.com customer support was practically impossible to reach and when I finally did, they wouldn't assist me without charge because I wasn't a "member" of a service that they offer. Still within a few days of purchase and under warranty, I called Canon customer service and was able to reach their live tech support (the reason I gave them a star.) He unsuccessfully assisted me for over an hour, redoing everything that I had already tried myself. Although he said he believed it was a technical problem with the Canon printer not recognizing the scanner feature, he then told me to call Apple to see if I could get some kind of driver and left me with a Canon product that didn't work properly. After doing my own online investigating, I noticed there were other customers who had experienced the same problem with the scanner on this printer, copy, scanner model - which has been discontinued by Canon and is still being sold. In fact, the price went up $40 at BestBuy the week after I purchased it.

I paid for a monthly fee for ink and got charged $135 extra for printing over my printing amount you are not paying for ink you’re paying a per paper

I paid for a monthly fee for ink, but I guess they’re charging me a per page I was printing out. I got charged $135 extra on my checking account. They will not refund my money. I bought my own extra ink I buy my own paper. I bought the printer and I have my own Wi-Fi. They did not send me anything extra no extra ink. They sent you in or when it says low, but I bought at least five the cartridges or more so there’s no way that they should charge me $135. I bought way more ink than they even supplied ..unjustified and I believe poor customer service very unsatisfying. I do not recommend this product to anybody I am sorry to say that

Terrible printers.

Shocking how difficult they make printing from this printer. They hide all kinds of settings - just connecting to wifi was a pain because they first require an app that doesn't even work.
Cannot recommend more not buying these printers they are not made to last or function easily. I don't know why getting a printer to print is so difficult, but with Canon it is. Every single step is a pain. Drivers install wrong, it won't pull in the paper that is already in there instead just throwing errors and not printing again.
It is an utterly terrible product.

I ordered an ink cartridge from Canon and they sent the correct box but the ink cartridge inside was wrong. It was probably a return where someone put the wrong one back in the box. They would do nothing about it. It took over 2 hours to get this done.

SCAMMERS STAY AWAY

This company are scam artists. I bought a Canon printer because it was cheap and on sale, and I don’t print much, just occasionally. So I went and registered my printer online and they offered me a free 60 day trial where they send me ink when my ink gets low. Like I said I don’t print much. The ink cartridges that come with the printer probably print 5 pages and that’s it, so during this 60 days they sent me one set of ink cartridges, 1 color 1 black. I have 90% ink level left after my 60 day free trial. So I canceled it, and then I realized a month ago they charged me 1999 a couple weeks ago they charged me $2.97 and then today they charged me $2.97 all for a free 60 day trial in which they sent me one set of cartridges that I barely used and then the top it off. I just went to make a photocopy of my drivers license and they actually shut my printer down saying I am not allowed to use the ink that they sent me because I canceled my plan. I am an absolute shock. They actually digitally shut my printer down and are making me take the ink out that I received during the 60 day free trial. Stay away from this company.

Canon Pixma TS 9520 Jams Every Time

I have a fairly new Canon Pixma TS 9520 and it is a horrible printer. It jams 90% of the time. I clear the jam and then it spits out 2 blank pages before it starts printing. I am using high quality paper, I have cleaned the print rollers (though they were spotless already), and I only use their own expensive ink. Don't waste your money on this lousy printer.

Unadulterated Garbage

This company and its printers are absolutely garbage. I know that most people know this, but I had to leave a review because I am steamed. I don't know what you have to spend on a printer for it to work longer than 6 months but it is more than what the "home printers" cost.

Bought a Cannon Pixma TS3722 at Walmart. $51.64 total with a 2 year service plan. Spent more than half a day trying to hook up to it with my phone ( Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 ). No luck. Downloaded the app like it said. Nope didn't work. Watched YouTube videos and tried . Nope didn't work. Very frustrating! Gave up. Went to bestbuy and bought an Epson XP-4200.$59 plus cost of a service plan. Unboxed it and plugged it in and when turned on hooked up to my phone within like a minute!!! Doing copy from my phone blazing fast!! Excellent work! I'll never recommend cannon to anyone. Go Epson!!
