I have mixxed feelings about Utilita, I do like the flexibility of the 'Pay As You Go' and also the 'no standing charge' tariff as this suits my lifestyle, however, I would just warn prospective customers to be aware that Utilita on the outset seem to provide a good service by advertising the many positives they offer yet in my experience they will not consider vulnerable persons with regards to the false claim that they offer a 'credit friendly' service.. also beware that Utilita may charge for electricity that you have not used! I found out to my cost ! at the outset my IMD and meter were giving false readings, Utilita charged for energy that I had not used, in fairness they did give me a refund but I had to bring this issue to their attention! I would say that it could be possible that if this happens to other people ( we are possibly talking 1000's) then not everyone would notice the over charging) I am not saying that Utilita may be making revenue by falsifying meter readings and customers energy usage but I am just saying that I was over charged!!.. Hopefully this will gain some attention as more people notice this and Utilita are made to get their energy data capture more accurate
I had a problem with my electricity top up voucher. When I called customer service I spoke with Hendrix he was so patient with me and He helped me resolve the issue. I really recommend Utilita. I am 100% satisfied
The lady agent (Vee) that handled my concerns was very professional with good customers service. Good communication skill- good listening and patient throughout our conversation. Apart from the reason why I called, she was able to book for an engineer to visit the property and as well updated my information. Welldone Vee, and welldone Utilita.

Following 3rd attempt today after 1st call with Michelle who kindly transferred me to the correct team to assist my Query that team hung up during conversation without even taking time to listen further My 3rd attempt i finally got through to an advisor called Mamab who went above and beyond taken her time been very patient as well adjusting to my personal needs and providing excellent customer service.
I did not need to repeat myself at all she resolved all my queries and questions she completed all my needs in just 1 phone call.
She is an asset to representing Utilita she also gave me additional advice to suit my needs and despite being a long call had patience communicated during short intervals letting me know what she was doing or waiting upon and did not give uk until all was to satisfaction.
Overall she did in 2hours what no other adviser has been able to over the past year.
I'm very grateful for Mamab's service today.

Until Rosie from Southampton joined the conversation it was all a bit confusing but she solved my problem with efficiency and friendly humour. I am new to Utilita but I hope that they take on only people like Rosie - we need a human touch these days!
Really impressed with the service provided by Reeha in change of tenancy dept. She was polite, courteous, friendly, understanding, helpful and patient whilst resolving my issues.
She removed old debt from my account and put £5: credit on my gas and electric pay as you go meters as there was an issue with the meters sending incorrect information to utilita.

On the occasion I called today Utilita ( The lady ) I had receive my call was impeccable compared to previous calls. First I was surprised on how quickly I was connected however having the mental health issues I have i myself can be hard work yet Nanai was patient understanding and knowledgeable of what my problems and queries were and what needed to be done. Although we were addressing things for a long time im still in my dressing Gown all through out she was clear , listened to me and recognised a problem that was not notified to me on previously calling on other occasions. Nanai was impeccable with time keeping having to first call me back in half an hour due to making sure my top ups had reached crediting the meter before we went ahead with other issues regarding connection of my newest model of the in home display requiring a whole new meter for my property due to updates since this last model of IHD was a lñactive due to previous calls I had not been informed of this. She said half an hour her return time was that exactly where I then asked if may I have another 10 mins that being also spot on. I cannot fault them now . I have arranged/agreed date for engineering guys to come and install new meter that will then operate with in home display u

Not allowing me to switch to a better provider due to ‘outstanding debt’ even though I just got the keys almost a week ago and dont have any power or gas. Currently forced to use a camping stove to heat water so I can clean and have my cups of tea. Aswell the customer service is terrible. I really do not recommend this company if you want electric and or gas.
