Absolute trash

Absolute trash. I ran out of credits so I started manually editing my code and it shut me out. It locked my project and will not allow me to access it without upgrading. I tried to pull my code with GitHub but they had corrupted my code. It became a massive headache in vs code. I tried to pull it with api keys and it won’t allow me until I upgraded. I copied what I could to take to another platform and as I thought they messed up my code so I had to start my ui from scratch in another platform. I’ve never had this issue with any other platform including base44 for any of my projects. This is criminal and it’s not even worth it. Do not use at all, do not waste your time, creativity or money on this bs. Four days of work gone because I edited it manually and didn’t upgrade. This platform is mental.

Sometimes it wows me

Sometimes it wows me, but more often than not it can't even do the most basic of tasks (like create a login page). It's actually insane that Vercel put this product out when it has so many issues. I absolutely hate it.

Massive Disappointment

I’ve been extremely disappointed with v0. The tool itself is fundamentally broken – it cannot handle even the most basic tasks, regardless of how clearly you spell them out. Whether you use a simple or highly detailed prompt, it fails to understand and falls over completely.

On top of that, every time you hit enter, it deducts credits without exception – even when it fails to deliver anything useful. Asking it to correct errors doesn’t help; it still charges you.

Customer service is equally poor. Getting through to a real person is a challenge, and when you finally do, they are unwilling to issue refunds or resolve issues. It feels like they are simply intent on taking your money, no matter what.

Honestly, there are far better, free alternatives out there. At this rate, it won’t be surprising if this company doesn’t last long.

Bad experience

Bad experience. It wrote the code but it makes mistakes, or it doesn’t come out right, or something goes wrong, and every time it happen, V0 charges me for the platform’s own errors. And after paying, and paying again, when everything is supposedly finally correct, I export it to HTML, go through the whole CMD process, upload it to my server, and surprise: much of the code I spent hours and hours on—and paid again and again—and he code is not there, an old version was uploaded instead. No matter how many instructions the AI gives me to repeat the process and says that this time it won’t happen again, it keeps happening. Meanwhile, V0 keeps me charging as if it were doing things correctly. I am already fed up and I am asking for my money back.

What do i need to do to get my money back $60usd ?

Price

The prices are too high, especially when the ai makes stupid mistakes such as forgetting a ";"

The pricing seems like a scam

This has great potential..
But it also feels like it is not mature enough for the pricing model.
I purchased credits, and created a working solution. But then it did a pricy review i didnt ask for, broke the solution, and the rest of my credits were wasted trying to get it to work.

Pay for 70% of its work to be wrong

Pay for 70% of its work to be wrong. Spend your time getting AI to fix frustratingly stupid mistakes it made over and over and over again at great expense to you.

Used to be good and then they cut costs by reducing the quality of their models.

I could never prove it but as others have said it seems like they are getting it to mess up on purpose in ways that are totally out of the ballpark of a probable next token in order to charge you more.

Repeatedly stole money out of my account after cancelling subscription claiming that they "can't cancel it and to get my bank to do it instead" despite the fact they where charging my Mastercard.

Was good, is trash now. Pricing change is a joke. Incredible expensive now, was reasonable before. The agents are working at a strange behaviour, it feels like they would add more work to charge more tokens. Canceled my plan.

Agent mode destroyed V0

Agent mode destroyed V0. After implementing the new agent mode you end up spending 50 cents on some small edits as the ai reads the whole project only to come up with some mediocre response. I could recommend V0 before but now its completely trash. Spend your money elsewhere

They are getting worse and worse

They are getting worse and worse. I’m constantly worried about their updates. I still remember their first release—it was amazing. But day by day, things have only deteriorated.

The current feature, “AGENT,” is especially disappointing. It feels like a machine that consumes both time and money. Tasks that the normal model used to handle almost instantly now take an unbearably long time and incur unnecessary costs.

Dear V0, I sincerely urge you to stop updating this tool. Each update seems to make it worse, and I truly miss the excellence of the first release.

Don't undestand the hate.I’ve been using V0 for a while now and…

I’ve been using V0 for a while now and I absolutely love it. It’s super easy to use, writes clean and understandable code, and the docs are clear and helpful. What’s really cool is that it can even handle some backend work, not just front-end.

The tool feels smart – it actually explains what it’s doing, why it’s making changes, and how it will bring your idea to life. That makes working with it feel more like a collaboration than just using a tool.

Overall, V0 makes coding faster, cleaner, and way more enjoyable. Definitely recommend it

avoid avoid avoid - It just keeps getting worse

Honestly it saddens me to leave this as someone who used to love v0.
What they did well, was visual design. It was crisp clean and fast to get to a basic UI. Now I was willing to overlook a LOT of issues with the code because of this and I enjoyed using it.
And then the changes began...
Over the last two months, the service has degraded to an almost criminal level, with customers treated like absolute dirt.
1. Aggressive pricing changes. And that is an understatement. The pricing was increased 50x for my use, from $20 to $1000 for the same use. And they had the audacity to post this as a great thing for users to make pricing more 'fair'? I'm not against a credit model if that's needed and paying for tokens, but they offer no control at all of the actual agent, so it can run wild and use thousands of tokens to make the smallest change simply as a bug and you have no recourse.
2. At a time when almost all products are giving more models and control of the model, overnight they just shift everyone to this 'agent' model and remove all the freedom to choose. This is a model that performs worse, costs more, and was done with no warning or no way out for people using the product. As you may know this completely broke many people in progress work, and had people running buggy queries at $5 a piece. I can only guess at this point it is a way to scam more money out of consumers.
3. Returning to pricing - they next removed the ability to buy top up credits on the free plan. So you can't even pay for credits without their scammy monthly plan.
4. Then they suddenly disable preview links entirely, again with nonsense post that it's for our own good. Your audience are engineers, we are not stupid and understand you could fix this in other ways. This now means you can't even preview your app in fullscreen or on a mobile. Breaking one of their only value propositions at this point.
5. It get's even worse. Now they stopped me using my 'paid credits' while I'm on the free plan, so I can't even use the credits I purchased - at this point it's basically illegal.

You can see how the company operates - the sarcastic responses you receive to complaints, or generic responses that don't solve the problem or are simply not even true.

This is not a company you can trust - you may find all your work broken at a moments notice. I can only recommending avoiding at this point in time.

Paying Premium for a Premium Headache

I regret every cent I’ve given this service.
What’s sold as “professional-grade” is nothing more than a half-baked beta wrapped in marketing buzzwords. The uptime is a joke, the support team treats urgent issues like a casual chat, and the documentation reads like it was written in a hurry by someone who’s never used the product.

Every feature I actually need either breaks without warning, behaves inconsistently, or is hidden behind yet another paywall. Worse, bugs get called “intended behavior” just to dodge fixing them. The platform is sluggish, error-prone, and seems more focused on pushing out shiny, incomplete updates than making the basics reliable.

If you value your time, your sanity, and your money — look elsewhere. This isn’t just disappointing; it’s borderline insulting for a paid service.

Was good before their price update

Was good before their price update. I was a total believer and even though it wasn't perfect, V0 before the price update was worth it. Not sure what made them think the timing was right to change their pricing model. It almost feels like they were doing it for money grab and taking advantage of its flaws to generate more revenue. It ended up breaking, or overwriting code without approval. Asked for refund. We had initially left replit for V0. Since the price update, we ended up leaving V0 back to replit and even found Replit's updated pricing and ai model superior resulting in completion of code and actually able to develop a functional web app for multiple clients literally 5x the speed v0.
