I had an okay experience with Victorian Fireplace Store. They have knowledgeable staff and a nice selection of antique fireplaces. The service can be great, as others have mentioned, but my experience was mixed. While the order process started smoothly and they were helpful over the phone, there were some issues with delivery. I received the wrong item initially, and sorting it out took longer than expected, with communication being a bit frustrating at times. In the end, I got what I needed, but the delay and confusion could have been handled better. Decent overall, but room for improvement.

Jonathan is a wealth of knowledge in this area & found us a perfect antique fire insert & wooden surround for our georgian house restoration project. Then his sons did a splendid job of installing it for us before Christmas, despite being very busy. It was a challenge to get it all up the stairs but they were extremely careful of walls & woodwork & no damage done. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Fantastic service. The showroom is a 2 1/2 hour drive but is was more than worth it. Danny spent ages talking us through what we needed and what we needed to do before fitting a fireplace. Once back home we placed an order for an original fireplace surround, grate and tiles and a custom made hearth. They arranged courier delivery and everything is perfect.

Dropped them an email for some samples and eventually placed an order with Clare, all done via email. Nothing was too much trouble, the packaging of the original sample was outstanding, also when we ordered the set of tiles, it couldn't have come more protected and packaged beautifully in under a week to the Isle of man. Thank you for such a wonderful service, the tiles are a perfect match to ones that were there 80 years ago! thank you..

Ordered my Bauhaus Fireplace Fret on Thursday afternoon and received it Saturday lunchtime. Well packaged and great delivery service. The fret itself was exactly how I had hoped it would be. Beautifully manufactured, clean lines and looks absolurely fab. Fitst class all round!

Lovely sleeves. First package was delivered to the wrong address and were basically stolen. The Victorian Fireplace Store replaced them without any fuss. These sleeves fitted perfectly and really look the part.

I placed an order for a new fire grate, spoke to a guy on the phone who seemed very helpful. I got a firm f confirmation through but had to chase several times for a proper VAT invoice which I eventually got, but delivery did not arrive when they advised it would, no answer on the phone and they don’t reply to any of my e-mails. Is it really too much to ask for a little communication as to when I can expect my delivery?

We have a beautiful stone fireplace and did extensive research to find an insert with heat and beauty. Mike and his staff at Victorian Fireplace Shop was knowledgeable and their advice gave us the fireplace we absolutely love! Mike (owner) installed the metal framing to finish off the fireplace and made this experience such a pleasure. We highly recommend Victorian Fireplace Shop in Richmond, VA to get a fireplace you will enjoy for many years. We purchased the Dimplex Revillision and could not be happier. It looks amazing.

Couldn’t be happier. We got a Blaze B520 insert. The install turned out to be a little tricky because of our wonky old fireplace but we wouldn’t have known if we hadn’t been watching the process. Everything was left perfectly clean and it looks beautiful.

Spoke to very helpful lady on the phone. Now self isolating and trying to find all the products needed to put fireplace back together !!! Thanks.

received it the next day! Brilliant.
( postage was expensive and the grate was over packed)
But the grate works and you coudn't beat the service.
