The e-vignette is so much quicker and easier to purchase than the old sticker type. Another big advantage is that you don’t need to spend ages removing the old one from your windscreen!
The process is really easy to use and only takes a few minutes to complete. It would be good if it was a rolling 12 month instead of fixed dates, as this would be more flexible and cost affective for... See more

No official website. More expensive and it takes time until you get it and no refund
Is not the official website then you pay much more.
It took 20 minutes until I could download it meanwhile the police in the border made me pay for another one in the border.
When i requested the refund they told it was not possible

Easy online application
This website makes it so easy to apply for Vignette - a form of road toll for using their motorways & highway. You will not have to find a station somewhere near the border. Do note that this thing is tagged to a vehicle number.

Easy Enough for the Inexperienced
We stopped at a gas station in Germany trying to buy a vignette, but they did not sell them. We got in too late to buy one at the border. Being able to buy one online in such a clear and doable way has totally put us at ease so that we can start our travels in Switzerland tomorrow with the reassurance that we will be covered!

Not the genuine website
NOT the official website and no way of checking validity of purchase.
You will still be stopped at the border if displaying a ticket or not. There are no cameras in Switzerland to detect the number plates.
google for swiss motorway-vignette

Quite easy
Quite easy. Better than having to fiddle about sticking it on the windscreen and scraping it off the following year. However you do pay a fee that you wouldn't have to if you got a sticker at the border or in a garage near the border.
