I’m a single standalone recruiter based in Sydney Australia – who has been in the recruitment game – in Sydney for 30 years.
I signed up to Vincere in 2024 for a three-year term.
Vincere itself is a good ATS/CRM but like so many other reviews on here – their accounts / finance team / contract renewals team sadly lets them down.
Constant errors in invoicing / cannot get hold or talk to anyone in accounts and the list goes on.
I have since discovered that their accounts team and customer service team are based in both Romania and Vietnam respectively - so the time zone difference alone makes communication with them difficult.
I recently received my invoice for contract renewal.
It was incorrect – wrong dates / wrong amounts etc.
Their accounts dept sent me an email – re payment reminder -I called the 1800 number given on the email – was on hold for over five minutes – then got a recorded message to say : Sorry – Nobody is available to take your call – Goodbye,
It took me six plus business days and over 22 plus emails plus numerous phone calls and complaints to resolve a simple single invoice matter.
I would normally rate Vincere at 4 stars – but sorry guys – for the prices you are now charging and level of service you are providing – there are much better Australian based ATS / CRM Service providers such as Jobadder / Job Tertis etc.
It a generous two stars for now

We have been working with Vincere for a few years now. I started using the platform from a Resourcer perspective and since have moved into Operations. Although, we have had a few struggles setting up the platform for optimal use, we have been able to liaison with Katie who took the time to listen and provide solutions. As well as to speak with their development team with any queries we have had in order to provide the best solutions. She has helped us configure the system into what is best for our organisation.
I truly appreciated her continuous support and professionalism.

I've been a long standing customer of the Access Group and have used a number of their recruitment products over the years, including Vincere CRM, Volcanic websites and ELAY.
Whilst the technology itself is very good, the biggest reason for this recommendation is the quality of the support team. Whenever we've needed help, whether that was training, troubleshooting, implementation support, system queries or assistance when moving between platforms, the support has consistently been first class. The team are knowledgeable, responsive and genuinely committed to helping customers get the most from the products.
As a CRM, Vincere provides everything a recruitment business could need. It offers a huge range of functionality that can support permanent, contract, executive search and high volume recruitment environments alike. There are so many features available that most businesses probably won't use every single one, but it's reassuring to know the capability is there as your business grows and evolves.
What I particularly like is that despite the depth of functionality, the platform remains intuitive and easy to use. It strikes a good balance between powerful features and day to day usability.
Overall, it's a five star experience from me. The products are strong, but it's the people behind them and the quality of support that really stand out.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Access and Vincere to other recruitment businesses.

Vincere / Access Group – disappointing and inconsistent contract handling
We have been a customer since 2024 and our experience dealing with the renewals and retention process has been extremely frustrating.
What should have been a straightforward discussion regarding reducing unused licences turned into a confusing and inconsistent contractual dispute.
Over the course of the discussions, we were given:
* different contract renewal dates;
* different notice deadlines;
* conflicting explanations regarding whether licence reductions were possible; and
* inconsistent interpretations of the same contractual wording by different representatives within the business.
At various points we were told:
* the contract renewed to January 2027;
* then January 2028;
* then May 2028;
* and that notice deadlines were either October 2025 or February 2026.
We were initially told a licence reduction could proceed subject to a 15% uplift, only to later be told reductions were not possible at all during the active term.
The most disappointing aspect has been the lack of clarity and transparency. Rather than receiving a clear contractual explanation, we have repeatedly had to chase for responses and ask for escalation internally.
The platform itself may work for some businesses, but our experience with the commercial and contractual side of the relationship has left us with very little confidence.

We used Vincere for around 3 years. Overall, it was a great experience. The system is reliable, mature, and very suitable for recruitment agencies with structured processes and bigger teams. The ATS + CRM ecosystem is quite complete and helped us scale our operations during important growth years.
What we liked:
- Reliable and stable system
- Good ATS + CRM combination
- Strong pipeline and recruiter activity tracking
- Modern compared to many legacy ATS
- Great for enterprise or larger recruitment agencies
One thing to note, if your business mainly focuses on straightforward contingent permanent hiring/search, Vincere might feel a bit overkill. The pricing is also on the higher side, but you can feel the quality and maturity of the platform.
Big shout out as well to our CSMs Macy and Alan — both were very helpful, responsive, and supportive throughout our journey with Vincere.
Cons from our experience:
- Degree of customization is somewhat limited for highly tailored workflows
- Data extraction/migration can take a lot of effort
- Some advanced workflows still need workarounds
- If you want full structured data support when leaving the platform (instead of extracting yourself), there will be additional costs involved
Overall, still a strong ATS and definitely one of the more solid recruitment agency platforms in the market.

I agree wholeheartedly with the negative reviews below and having looked in detail at many of the positive ones and spoken to my wide recruitment network - I don’t trust that some of these are real reviews.
A solid product but the service, aftercare and approach is terrible. I have worked with Access on and off for 20+ years and nothing changes. They are sharks. Constantly trying to shirk any aftercare responsibility and maximise billing without considering their major shortfalls or customer requirements.
They mis-sell and run into the sunset! This is a common customer theme. Their size allows them to ignore customer service and just keep selling.
Tread with caution, they’ve not changed, there are much better out there. Don’t fall for the sales patter - care disappears once you sign.
I have very nearly lost a significant contract as a result of the onboarded system catastrophically failing. Avoid fast referencing on ‘onboarded’ it doesn’t work. They lost 22 years of our client data which has been extremely costly (they paused billing for 3 months as a ‘sorry’ which nowhere near covered the losses) and they were late getting the Vincere system live because of an over promised timescale and yet are still trying to charge me from the original start date and getting heavy handed with the chasing.
The Access finance team are removed, ill informed and rude. ‘Computer says no’ and no concern for customer service.
My advice is AVOID!

Bit of a different review, as I chose to go with a different CRM but I wanted to give praise to Cosmin Homoc throughout the process.
He was the only CRM provider who called before I had my demo, to understand my needs and be able to tailor the demo to me to not waste anyones time.
He also got one of the tech guys involved to show me some other features which I thought was really helpful.
The only reason I didn't go for Vincere was that one other CRM worked out much cheaper and I was a little put off by some of the review "post take-over.
If I was hiring for an SDR or Sales role, I would want Cosmin representing my company. He even booked in follow up calls when he was suppose to be off on annual leave.

I’ve had the database for 4 years . Before access group bought vincere this would be a 5 star review for every category.
It’s gone from excellent to very bad .
The database is excellent for my personal needs.
The customer service though now is horrendous. Regular price increases, incorrect billing and to try and rectify issues is VERY time consuming

Sunny has been fantastic, really helpful, nothing too much trouble. We took some time to get the consistency with Access, but now that we are here, it is a great product.

I’ve been a client of Vincere CRM for several years, and unfortunately, my recent experience has been extremely disappointing.
The level of client aftercare is very poor. There seems to be little to no effort made to understand a client’s evolving business situation or to offer any flexibility when circumstances change. Despite a long-term relationship, I was met with rigid processes and a lack of empathy when discussing adjustments to my subscription.
What is even more concerning is the complete lack of communication regarding contract renewal. Not being proactively informed or updated about such a critical aspect of the partnership is simply unacceptable for a company operating in this space.
Overall, the experience feels transactional rather than customer-centric. After years as a loyal client, I expected a much higher standard of service and professionalism.
I would not recommend Vincere CRM based on this experience.

It is so frustrating to get in contact with them, only AI agent. They keep your ccard on file and charge without any further notice. Previous customer service people are not replying to your enquiry. After 3 months of back and force emails, & a threat that if I dont sign a new contract with them, they will not make the changes, then 2 months later they charged my card uneexpectedly without any notice for some extra service, which I did not order. My last email was to their customer service IN Vietnam on Febr 26, which Im still waiting a reply.......

Where to begin...!
We signed up to Vincere expecting accurate radius and distance search — a basic requirement for a recruitment CRM, surely!
In reality, the system calculates straight-line (“as the crow flies”) distance, not actual road travel distance. This produces completely misleading results. In one case, a candidate was shown as less than 50 miles away from the client when the real driving distance was over 167 miles (the straight line crossed open sea).
This makes shortlisting unreliable and forces us to manually verify distances using external maps — a significant and ongoing operational burden.
What’s most concerning is that Vincere’s own website states their geo-locate feature does not rely on straight-line distances and helps identify “truly practical matches.” That has not been our experience.
When we raised this formally and requested early termination, we were told the system is “working as designed” and our many requests have been refused. We have been left no other option than to seek legal advice.
My advice - proceed with caution — if you need a CRM that relies on accurate candidate/client distance match then DO NOT sign up to Vincere.
This is just one issue. There are many, but I need to save my time for Google map searches to make sure I don't offer candidates work in Timbuctoo!
