It is impossible to reach Volkswagen importer Finland. I have had problems with a workshop and I had no place where I can complain to. The official workshop called LMS(Lehtonen Motor Sport) tried to do possible insurance scam by using 3rd party part which they billed 600euro while genuine VW item was 650euro. The workshop had work list with genuine VW item in first line. But they have put 0 pieces in inventory. Then had 3rd party item listed on second page with smaller text. They claimed the insurance wouldn't pay the difference. But when I called my insurance they said they would pay such a small difference. I tried to report the issue to Volkswagen importer Finland but they seemed to think this is ok.
This was not the first time I had problems with Volkswagen services in Finland. In 4 year old car, they wanted over 200euro to update software because it had a bug which caused usage issues. Another workshop couldn't update the software and lied about the reason then got caught. I was quoted over 600euro for an oil change. Different VW authorized workshops give different costs for operations.
They only give 2 years warranty to vehicles while in other countries (eg. Estonia) the warranty is 5 years.
The whole infrastructure is managed like a joke and worst part is that there is nobody to complain to about issues. Every branch forwards people to another branch.
