SCAMMERS

SCAMMERS - Lionel is the accounts man - their accounts are in his name and not the company name! Not based in sountmoor. once container paid for we received an email from "Heavy Lift Transport" saying before they release our container we had to pay Refundable Transit Protection Deposit of £1980. When questioned both Wallis & Heavy Lift Transport, we didn't receive responses and they have since stopped answering our calls. Massive Huge Scammers who have now been reported to action fraud

Apalling non customer service

Still ongoing and I willnot give in judging by their reviews I'm not alone -Unacceptable service—keeping my money and my itemsI had to send my returns directly to Head Office with a covering letter via recorded delivery because their returns portal failed to work. I have official tracking proof that they signed for and received the items. Despite this, Wallis is flatly refusing to issue a refund or return my physical goods back to me. They currently have both my money and my clothes. This is completely unacceptable customer service. Avoid shopping here. They simply keep replying that they willnot refund etc it is completely ridiculous its just standard email replies different person everytime guess they have templates just paste it in for this recurring situation

Returns portal does not work

Returns portal does not work. Been trying to resolve the matter since 12 June. Reported to customer service - 12 emails so far but no resolution as yet. Automated responses but no follow up. I believe this is a bit of scam and they have no intention of sorting out. They have taken my money just want the issue to go away. Extremely poor customer service. Could have easily provided a label via email and resolved quickly. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Where the hell is my refund...!

I ordered 3 dresses.
They were delivered 16th June 2026. I tried them all on immediately the day they arrived. Beautiful dresses, can't deny the quality was good, however, they were all way too big. I literally packed them back up, initiated a return and dropped them off within 2 hours of receiving them. They arrived back with Wallis on 19th June 2026. Today is 2nd July 2026 and I am STILL waiting for my £200 refund! I appreciate there is a turnaround period when returning items for refund but it's been nearly 2 weeks now and Im told by customer services it will be any day now, but it hasn't arrived in my account yet. I won't ever order from here again. Ive wasted too much time trying to chase this refund up!!

Damaged top

I bought a top that had a non removable diamante brooch. On washing the top the second time, the brooch rusted and has stained the fabric. They refused a refund but agreed an exchange, I have been trying to get this resolved for almost a month now but they never respond to emails until you chase them. They agreed an exchange on 2nd June and I am still waiting. Very poor customer service.

Returns portal doesn’t work

Returns portal doesn’t work. Can’t seem to return my order. No customer service number. Also I wasn’t aware of an unusual 21 day return policy and I’ve been very very poorly and they won’t offer a kind gesture in returning another order past 21 days.

Not fit for purpose

I purchased a computer chair from them, it keeps wobbling, screws wont stay tightened. Has caused me to have back problem and now paying for medical treatment to remedy. Not a happy customer, an injured, in pain, out of pocket and stressed one!!

Returns are a nightmare!

Ordered multiple items for a wedding guest outfit, delivery was ok but returning the items was an absolute nightmare as different items had to go back to different suppliers and had a maximum quantity of items allowed back to Wallis/Debenhams.
As far as I'm concerned, if I order from one website then I should be able to return in one parcel to that same website not make trips to both the post office and evri shop especially as you are charged a return cost per parcel! Messenger was useless as only 1 response daily rather than being resolved on the same day of your query! Complaint reviews on Debenhams site all day the same thing!

Awful company and like Debenhams…

Awful company and just like Debenhams online, is another company masquerading and hiding behind the once reputable Wallis !
Ordered dress and when it arrived it had blatantly been worn and ironed and returned.
Like Debenhams you have to text and wait for them to come back to you .. which means a loop of messaging and reiterating the issue .
Finally return is accepted .. irrespective of customer rights or by their own agreement at purchase from ‘Seel’ .. but not after submitting photographic proof (usually something scam companies require to dispute there’s anything wrong with the item)
The return label did not work and after emailing company accusing them of being a scammer miraculously the label worked.
Returned dress within days .. Six weeks later still awaiting refund ..

As with Debenhams I will never purchase from Wallis again .. Scam systems masquerading as once respected companies .. Just realised without surprise that both Debenhams and Wallis are operated by Boohoo .. says it all as Boohoo have been horrendous in past too !!
avoid !!!

Beware of Seel!

Great choice of clothes BUT beware of ending up paying for Seel. One of those things that you have to “ opt out “of. Despite bring encouraged to buy more as delivery is free if you spend £75+, it’s easy to fall into the trap of paying over £9 for Seel Just watch out!

Avoid

I ordered 2 dresses. Paid postage and there was separate insurance fee. Neither suited so I sent back straight away. They were delivered back a month ago and I still have received nothing. When I tried to contact I think it was AI because made no sense. Said I had been sent a voucher. Told them multiple times that I had not agreed to a voucher and wanted a refund but also I had not received a voucher. Still today nothing and although this a relatively small amount, I will go to the ombudsman if need be. Avoid.

I have never received the jacket I…

I have never received the jacket I ordered as part of a suit. It cost over £50 !!
I ordered 1 pair of trousers for the suit.
I got 2 pairs of trousers?? Neither any use to me without the jacket! But they won’t send me the jacket even though I’ve paid for it. That’s theft!! I’m going through trading standards now. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! Wallis USED to have a good rep in the UK, sadly no longer

Steal your money and products

I recently purchased several items from Wallis and they use the delivery courier Evri. My parcel was not delivered safely as noone was home at the time of delivery and the goods were left on the front of the property in public display from the photo they provided. Now both Wallis and Evri are refusing to take responsibility for the undelivered goods. Both companies are crooks. They take your money for the goods and do not deliver them safely, my bet is the items were taken by Evri as their photo shows the goods in their possession but not delivered. Wallis are refusing replacement of the goods or a refund. Therefore, you cannot safely order goods from this company. If their courier fails to deliver safely you are left to pick up the cost of their poor and unreliable service, even though Wallis are happy to use them as their delivery. Do not trust the non existent customer service of either of these companies.

Say they have refund but havent and refuse to investigate further - do not use

knowingly using a company that is refusing refunds, and they also refuse to investigate - DO NOT USE
Expected more from Wallis, but they are useless and clearly don't have any concerns with using dodgy suppliers - hope they go into receivership but then they aren't hard up as stealing people's money and refusing to investigate - DISGUSTING

also avoid DBZ-Store via an outlet as this is who claim they have refunded but are still taking payments i cant now stop! Will contact bank next!

Be careful ordering from walls

Be very careful ordering from Wallis they charged me £18 to send 3 dresses back it’s disgusting I understand posting fee but then they charged me a return fee then a extra fee of £12.50 still don’t quite understand that I did complain and the answer I got was can we help with anything else I don’t think so you can’t even help this time will never order anything again

Wallis- where is my refund?

Order was returned on 10/4/26 and there is no whiff of a refund. Chased and end up on a merry-go-round of AI customer bot and referral to customer services who don’t get back to you. Order DUX053141171 still outstanding and really cant afford to leave my money sitting in their bank account.please sort it Wallis.
Ironically, first order with Wallis- wont be a second if I don’t see my money soon.

Unacceptable customer service

If I could I would give it zero! Ordered three dresses, kept one returned two. Returned dresses on 15th April. Package with the two dresses in delivered back to me! Have been trying to resolve this situation since 21st April it’s now 27th April! I have been sent round and round in circles but have had no success in returning the dresses which when I looked at my account today are now outside of the return window! I have bought lots from Wallis in the past but will have to think carefully about ordering again as this level of customer service is unacceptable!My order no: DUX053010261 just incase anyone from Wallis would care to help! I just want to return dresses which did not fit! Kerry Vanstone

Impossible returns

Have been trying to activate return for two days and still no link, will only stay at stage 1 of the return, will not allow 'continue' and high value of goods being returned. Will never use again. No phone contact allowed and message portals down.

This whole company should be closed…

This whole company should be closed down!!
Trying to get a refund for items they've received is near on impossible, they have no contact email, no telephone number, a WhatsApp and message unsupported chat.
They have the nerve to slyly charge you for an insurance which says covers you when infact it doesn't, charge you for delivery and returns so it costs them nothing!!
They're unethical and are breaking so many consumer online selling laws they should be prosecuted. Debenhams, Wallis, boohoo is all the same company. I would advise to stay away from them all.
I am currently in a dispute with PayPal to get my refund. Absolutely appalling company.
