Excellent service and friendly staff will use again

My wife took her car in for an MOT appointment. When she arrived, the staff member at the desk ignored her initially and then bluntly asked, “What?” She explained that she had booked her car in for an MOT that day, and his response was simply, “Car name?”

She asked if they could give her a call when the car was ready, and he replied, “OK.” After waiting around an hour and a half with no phone call, she returned to the garage to check on the progress. After finishing his biscuits and his conversation with a friend. the staff member pointed to the keys and said to a colleague, “It’s them keys there.”

My wife then had to ask whether the car had passed its MOT, to which he simply replied, “Yes,” in what she felt was a very rude manner.

My daughter was with her and also commented on how rude the staff member was throughout the visit. I don’t know whether this treatment was because my wife is female or because she is black, and I sincerely hope that wasn’t the case. Hopefully, he is simply rude to everyone equally.

Either way, customer service was extremely disappointing. Good luck going forward — although with staff like that, I’m not sure you’ll see much repeat business

Avoid at all cost, they tamper with your car - please see google review weonlymot grantham for more detailed reasoning as cant copy all into here but basically had 2 mots with a retest finding a new fault that wasnt picked up on the 1st test all because I queried a minor defect that reappeared from last year, again this year but I know got repaired and was checked after the 1st test to show it was in good condition and at the retest, they agreed with us, think because I challenged it, they punished me and tampered with my car as a local car mechanic / friend said the 2nd failure was tampered with - AVOID please!

Just wanted to thank you for your swift, efficient and excellent service. I booked in today for a same day appointment after realising my MOT had expired and what started out as a highly stressful situation was resolved within a couple of hours and the car passed with zero advisories as a very pleasant bonus. Does exactly what it says, just an MOT. In and out no faff, retest also easy to fit in, phoned at 4pm, fitted in at 10 past, turned up late but the lads were fine. Thank you.

The garage I was meant to be going to today cancelled last minute and I was pleased to be able to get booked in here today with less than 24 hours notice, especially as my MOT expiry date was today!
My test was carried out at the time booked without delay and friendly staff. I'll be coming here every year from now on

After being let down by another garage booked an appointment for the same day. Easy to book online,MOT completed in the time promised, friendly staff and a happy customer!

It's up the road, impartial MOT not looking to rip your eyes out, friendly staff, nice and clean staff so vehicles don't get oiled up ! Easy to get to. I normally use Ollerton which is just sad good but now as I'm only 10 mins away from me, Message for Alan Keep Timmo at Grantham please 🥺🥺

I went to the Mansfield branch. They were ready for my 2.20pm appointment. Really friendly staff. The process was done in between 25-30mins. paid £50 MOT done . Highly recommend them. 5star service. Also 2 very lovely doggies for cuddles whilst you wait.

The best MOT station in Lincoln. Staff are very polite, understanding and flexible. I received an excellent service from Robert, who is very helpful. Their multi car offers and free re-test policy also makes them very reasonable.
