Disgraceful company ordered pack of two…

Disgraceful company ordered pack of two tree wash and only received one item.
When I contacted them I got a reply "send proof" there was no receipt in the box just one item so impossible to send proof!
Basically I was treated as a liar , why Amazon are using this company I have no idea they should be ashamed of themselves.
If I could give 0 stars I would.....thieves.

Terribly unprofessional company

Terribly unprofessional company. Impossible to get parts, unreliable, constant push-back when issues arrise. Every conversation is a constant litany of "we can't" or "ABB doesn't do that". Save your sanity and avoid these people.

ABB Video Indoor system completely outdated

My house came with the ABB Video Indoor Station 4.3 WiFi system. It allows me to see who is at the door and open it remotely. The system functions but is completely outdated (despite it being still on sale). It is decades old and connecting it to smart functions on your phone is impossible unless you are a trained ABB expert. Completely user unfriendly. Despite it being only 3 years old, I will rip out the system and replace it with something modern.

After 5years of its life the inverter stopped working without any alarm, only checking no output present. Warranty 5 years.

ABB ...a company with no ethics.
Placed an order with ABB Aberdeen for on 5th Aug. 2024 after receining a quote then a revised quote...then just of a sudden the new agreed price jumped from £9K to £41K . I can see this co. going down within the next 5 years. Unprofessional organisation to the bone.

I do not recommend doing business with ABB

I went to ABB.com to speak with someone regarding an order that was placed and the delivery date was drastically pushed out causing several issues with my project. When I called the phone number and worked through their automated phone system and finally got to the area where I thought I would be able to speak with a person, it hung up on me. I tried to called several ABB Suppliers in Texas and every single one either had a phone number that was disconnected or automatically hung up on me. I do not recommend doing business with ABB.

ABB Australia light years in front of Europe.

In my previous employment ABB Australia were our preferred vendor, and service was great. If I phoned normally get same day response. I've had a request for ABB Europe, three weeks and all I get is an automated email. What has gone wrong, the service is non existent.

free@home automation and experience with customer service from ABB

This is about free@home automation / domestic system from ABB and the experience with ABB in Italy.

Update December 2020:
After getting hold of a very qualified technician my house is now working well. The original installer and his local ABB sales rep was not a good experience.
Despite being a relatively simple system, local installers often have no clue whatsoever about how to install or configure the system. An example is the famous button I had to turn off all lights - original installer had the button turn on all lights if flipped the other way.

A proper technician solved everything within hours.

ABB need to ensure that their sales personnel are able to guide and assist local installers. Possibly only sell to installers that has a minimum of knowledge/training. The fact that during my installation at-least four ABB reps visited without indicating issues to the installer did not help.

I don't have a great experience with my installer - a private company installing ABB parts. The fact that the installer was suggesting to use ABB gave impression of a great system. He also proposed 35% discount on the parts, and that ABB would come and inspect and activate the system when it was finished.

Unfortunately this did not go as planned - and I have finally managed to get the attention of ABB/Italy to help resolve the problems. No ABB representative did come to activate the system, at least not with me present and it is my understanding that this was promised by the installer but never 'sold' or promised by ABB.

I will update you with the progress of help from ABB/Italy on my free@home system. Just as a spoiler - when looking up prices in Germany, the list price for the components were the same, or less, than what was proposed from my installer with the discount ...

Stay tuned - or stay away from lock-in-systems and go for open standards.
