Booked an appointment with Tracy over a month ago for trust work and 3 working days before the appointment, received an email 'Unfortunately, I am emailing to cancel the appointment for Monday 9th December at 10am as our department does not deal with trust work'. No reasons for booking in the first place, no recommendations on. Have been a client of Allsop in the past for conveyancing but this is disappointing. They cited my phone is out of order - it is but only since yesterday.

John Sheldrick and the Allsopp staff always a pleasure to deal with. Have engaged John many times and has always been helpful, supportive talking in layman's language rather than legal jargon. Would always recommend as a solicitor service.

John Sheldrick dealt with my first house purchase and gave us nothing but support and guidance throughout the process. I was a little nervous this being mine & my partners first home purchase so we had never gone through this before. Mark Goreham was our solicitor on the sale of our property on Victoria Road.
We had several sales fall through and a difficult lease renewal to do, but, through it all Mark, guided us remained calm, when we were getting frustrated, kept our spirits up and was so very kind and professional through it all. I have moved and bought properties over the years but I can easily say Mark has been the best! He was always on the end of the phone and always answered our emails and queries straight away. He worked fast and diligently and know matter how busy he was, ( I know he had many other clients ) he always made us feel like we were the only ones and gave us as much time as we needed to discuss and understand any issues we may have had.

I recently sold a shared ownership flat with a very low lease. It was a complicated conveyance as the buyer was buying the whole flat while myself and a housing association had varying shares. The freehold belonged to a third party. Mark Goreham was excellent and I am sure due to the complexity of the sale a number of solicitors would not have taken on the job, indeed prior to my finding Mark I had been informed that due to the problems I would never sell it. Mark knew exactly what to do and if he didn't he found out while at the same time creating a good relationship with the buyers solicitors which really helped the negotiations. I would strongly recommend Mark who was always on hand to answer calls and constantly keep me updated with the constantly changing situations. I can't recommend Mark enough as during the stressful selling process, for me, it was important to have someone I could rely on and trust.
