I honestly didn’t expect to receive any compensation for my cancelled flight. I’ve found that airlines are usually experts at finding loopholes in their cancellation policies, like citing "force m... See more

great result, difficult system with unclear requests
I ve had the reply of acceptance of the claim for the delay at the airport Amsterdam flying to Brest by Paris. The process in the system is quite complex and unclear what to provide/ deliver to Airhelp.
Finally with 3 people we succeeded.

Claim delayed for months with no meaningful updates
I submitted my compensation claim to AirHelp on 8 October 2025 regarding Wizz Air Malta flight W46392 (Claim ID: 6352641).
The airline rejected the claim, and on 12 October 2025, AirHelp informed me that the case had been transferred to its legal team. Since then, the only visible update has been a generic status stating that the legal team is handling the case.
The continued delay is unacceptable. A generic response is no longer sufficient after such a long period. I expect AirHelp to provide a documented update explaining:
* What legal action has actually been taken.
* When that action was taken.
* The current stage of the case.
* The next expected milestone and estimated timeline.
Transparency and communication are essential when customers entrust a company to pursue legal claims on their behalf.
I will update this review based on the actual outcome. The matter will not be considered resolved until the compensation has been successfully recovered and paid to the claimant.

Easy and relatively quick
All resolved very quickly
All resolved very quickly, would recommend. The only part I struggled with a bit was the compensation for my daughter and the documents needed, but eventually it was resolved. It would be good to make this more straightforward - I was still getting reminders that documents were missing, despite having attached them already, and needed to contact customer support to resolve.
Otherwise all fine and very quick. Of course you need to pay a percentage fee, but at least it's very effective. I doubt I would get the compensation by myself.
Prompt and efficient
AirHelp contacted me promptly when I would not have even known I could be compensated. They arranged everything, streamlining the process. Paying them commission was well worth while.

We submitted the refund request in March. Both requests were sent at the same time. One was accepted but the second one had to be resubmitted twice. We didn't receive notification regarding the alleged incomplete request. The total was delayed 3 months. We continued to ask for updates we assurance it would happen.

Happy and satisfied airhelp customer.
Im happy that it took a short time (4weeks) to get my compensation. I also appreciate the frequent communication of updates about my claim which encouraged me that airhelp was really working on my case with all the urgency needed. I recommend airhelp to anyone and everyone.

Dealing directly with SAS customer service went nowhere. Appointing AirHelp to get the refund was money well spent.
