Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 8,865 reviews, reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers truly appreciate the exceptionally smooth process, minimal paperwork required at the very beginning, and quite quick refunds for disrupted flights. Travelers frequently note that the extremely helpful and friendly support team communicates clearly at every single stage and successfully resolves very complex airline issues. However, some reviewers were not happy with high service fees and substantial commissions deducted from their final overall financial compensation. A few other people also felt that certain individual cases occasionally suffered from rather prolonged waiting times, a complete lack of proactive updates, or ultimately rejected claims.

Just find another company

More than a year ago, my flight was delayed for more than three hours. After many months without a single update, I contacted their customer service. Not a single time did I get an accurate update. Each time I talked to them, I received contradictory responses. It was obvious that the agents were neglecting and ignoring me. When I confronted them, they just tried to avoid my points and change the subject.

The process through them was very slow; however, finally, after making numerous follow-ups, I received feedback that the case was won. They sent me their invoice confirming they took 50% of the value, which is okay. After I shared my bank details to receive my compensation, they said it would take 2–4 business days. That timeframe has passed, but I haven't received my money.

I contacted them to ask about it, and a rude agent, supposedly named Constance, told me that they didn't know when they were going to give me my money. Of course, they already got their part.

Worst company ever. Worst service ever, avoid them at all costs. If I ever have to raise a claim again, and they are the last option left in this world, I would rather drop my claim.

Scandallous

Booked through an agency. Flight 7hrs late, tried to claim compensation which was offered to everyone I travelled with. Told by the airline I had to claim through my booking agents who passed it to Airhelp who took over 40% of my money. Absolutely disgusting arrangment and fee for doing absolutely nothing that I couldn't have done myself if allowed.

Update #2:

Update #2:

AirHelp has now provided additional information confirming that a pre-legal letter was sent to the airline several months ago. However, the claim still remains at essentially the same stage, with no clear indication that the matter has actually progressed to the next legal step.

After several months, this level of delay is difficult to justify. If the airline has already been given its final opportunity to settle the claim, I expect AirHelp to proceed with the next appropriate action without further unnecessary delay.

I am asking AirHelp to review my case seriously, give it appropriate priority, and provide clear evidence of meaningful progress rather than leaving the claim at the same stage for months.

I will continue posting factual updates and maintaining my negative review while the claim remains unnecessarily delayed. My review will be updated accordingly when AirHelp demonstrates genuine progress and ultimately resolves the matter.
