The rental car itself functioned very well. The one problem I had was at the moment of renting the car. The car they gave me had a broken back seat, fairly low tire tread on 3 of the tires, and the interior of the car was quite dirty. I complained, so they changed to a different car, but unfortunately the interior of the car smelled like smoke. They didn't have any other similar cars available, so the best option was the original car, but it took them another half hour or so to better clean the interior and fix the broken back seat.

DO NO RENT FROM THIS COMPANY
I had to cancel my paid reservation. I was aware that i would be charged a 20% cancellation fee, which i acknowleged. I had paid with my mastercard, but america car rental lied and said that they could not give the credit back to my card. They said they had to issue to wire funds to my bank. Once they told me that the wire would take 90 days i realized that i would likely not receive the wire and that i would not be able to dispute the charge with my card due to the 90 days, so i disputed the charge, and they indeed processed a credit to my card.
If you read reviews for this company you will see that most are very negative.
