Aubade is lovely, loss of privacy is not so much!
We are total enthusiasts with Aubade , especially if there are sales. But buying online now seems to include not only a credit card but providing an email address, a postal address and a mobile phone number which seems to be excessive. (I tried to put in a regular phone number but this was rejected). I think it should be possible to purchase these lovely items without putting oneself at risk of endless invasions of privacy with adverts etc. The alternative is to purchase Intimissimi at shops in London (remember shops?!) . Please let us buy products with some privacy. Thanks!

don't buy, terrible return process
don't buy. If you buy and ship it back they claim it is not in good shape accodring to their logistics department. I only tried it for fitting purposes so for sure it was clean when I returned. It is really expensive stuff so they should have a proper (and fair) process if the fitting is not right. Super disappointed so will not buy this brand ever again.

RETURN PROBLEM
absolutely non existing customer service. Unable to process a return. Have error message on website. you have to email which is responded to by non English speaking customer service that do not understand when you are asking for return or explaining the problem. Great lingerie but never again.

Terrible Customer Service
Terrible customer service doesn't do this company justice.
Now I have purchased from this company before and everything has been fine but on this occasion, I spent a lot of money purchasing two bikinis for my summer holiday.
When I unpacked the black bikini I noticed it had a white mark on one of the cups. I contacted Aubade on 8 July 2024 to ask whether it was safe to try and wash it out or whether it would need to be returned and/or discount would be offered. The requested information was completed and sent off with the required photographs showing the marks.
I am still awaiting a response as of today's date 20 July and I have contacted them repeatedly to be told they are dealing with the inquiry and will be in touch.
Meantime, I have not been able to wear the new black bikini.
On a separate note - I purchased another bikini and I think that after it being worn approx 3 times totally approx. 5 hours I think that the colour is wearing and you can see the inside material becoming exposed.
These bikinis are too expensive for this to be happening and for you not to get a response to the fact that they are marked upon arrival and wearing so quickly.
Buy from here with full knowledge that this could happen.

Unclear sizing and terrible customer service.
Sizing on the products does not match what is offered online or the size guide, and customer services are very unhelpful, refuse to take any responsibility, and do not offer any kind of apology.
Cost of returns is also high and not detailed clearly (or even at all) before you place an order.
Tragic customer service
Received incorrect size and it had been over two weeks waiting for a return label. Tragic customer service.
It is not pure silk as they say
Made an order for 2 pajama sets. Order arrived I took just one shirt and noticed an item "squeaks" in my hands and made statics. Emailed, they ignored questions about fabric composition. Called, they asked for time to double check with another department. I got a response "Even though silk can sometimes generate static electricity when in contact with certain skins, our pyjamas are made from 100% silk."
I think it is silk with polyester or what's called "Armani silk", made of pure polyester. Statics happen because of the composition, statics caused by friction between two different materials. Meaning that it should be used more than one fiber type in that fabric.
Wrong order
Bought 3 different bras and received 2 bras + 1 under pant which did not belong to me. There were two shipment labels, one belongs to me, the other to a lady in US. I could even see her order info inside the box. How can it happen? People dont check the labels before sending? Then I start to wonder, if they keep doing it, how clean the product could be? I was tempted to test them out. Though I didnt lol. They were too small for me.
REPEATEDLY FAILED TO PROVIDE THE PROPER REFUND
I had written to #Aubade several times, and then #Aubade asked me to write to Global because they apparently handle refunds. Aubade/#Global unfairly refunded me £9.90 less after I paid for my own postage for return at the post office, and they promised to refund my £9.90 starting in August 2022, but it has yet to happen. I'm going to contact my bank, file a dispute, and file a complaint. #Aubade, stealing what is not yours is, to say the least, unprofessional!
Over one month gone and still not solved!!
We have now contacted Aubade customer service many times. It has gone over one month from the delivery and the problem is still unsolved. We are very unhappy and very bad service from a premium brand!

Can't understand the negative reviews here... I have been ordering from Aubade since 2019 and never had any issues with them. The design is very elegant and quality is decent. I've been wearing some of their bras for 3-4 years and they still look like brand new. The only thing that I can complain about is that it takes too long to ship my items, usually more than 3-4 days, sometimes a week.
No customer service
Impossible to get through to them with customer service, and after reading other reviews I'm worried about getting the refund on returned items. As others have said, this isn't what you'd expect from a luxury brand.
Awful Service - not expected from this brand
This is not the first issue I've had from online ordering but it is the worst service. I ordered a number of items of male underwear in the sale, all available in the size required. What was sent was all items in the wrong size, although it was the same wrong size. They packed according to the French size not the order UK size. easy mistake and easy to rectify you would expect.... but no, weeks later and countless emails to faceless and uncontactable 'customer service' (and I use the term generously) representatives all they could do was take a return - and only then after I'd supplied photographic evidence of their mistake. They have now told me they won't exchange and I have to order again... but they say I can't because the sale has finished. So my sale is lost. Shockingly bad service for a luxury brand. I have way to challenge or escalate this and no phone number. I used to spend £1000 a year on my wife's underwear and mine with Aubade. Time to shop Empreinte!
Poor quality cut bra
Poor quality cut bra, it gave the impression of two boob half way up the breast - it was the right sized bra but the supports inside were lumpy and strange. Very overpriced for the quality.
Watch out! NO refund after returning items
Watch out! Even though I returned the whole order, for 2 months (and counting) NO REFUND of my money. Unbelievable. Almost 200€ are gone. Would never have believed this to happen with a company of this prestige. Can only warn you to order with them. Considering bringing an action against them now.
I’m so angry, I can’t even describe it
This used to be my favorite brand but I’m so angry with the horrible service, I’ll never buy anything from them again. I ordered in the 10th of February. After weeks of correspondence, they finally tell me that the shipment has been “put back in their warehouse”. I have no idea why and as far as I can see, it never left their warehouse. Also, they didn’t refund the full amount. So now I’ve paid 10€ only to be angry and disappointed. Never got my order and they’ve stopped responding about the full refund. I’m furious.

Truly disappointing service. Used to be my favourite brand but I will no longer buy. I moved to another country from the UK and couldn't find any boutiques or online stores selling Aubade (I even contacted customer service and they advised they have none in this country - funnily enough since then I have found a shop) and due to Brexit I needed to find an EU retailer to avoid taxes, the bras are expensive enough without an extra 20odd % tax! So what better place to order from than their own website!
Ordered 2 bras in the sale (I always keep my first orders small to test a new online store, just in case stores are not what they seem or service is bad) that I was really excited about. Due to COVID I expected things to take longer but after several weeks the parcel tracker still said the parcel was not handed over to Cronopost/GlobalE. I contacted Aubade and they told me they did hand over my parcel but the shipping company cannot account for it. Over a week later they advised it was returned to Aubade and if I wanted a refund or resending. Obviously, I wanted resending. Over a week later still haven't heard from them, so I contacted them again asking when they would post it. Their response? They are unable to do it. Really? What's so difficult about it? I think they just didn't want to bother with it. I'm fairly sure if it was a full priced item, they would rather find a way to post than refund. Well, as much as I love(d) their bras, I will no longer buy them, not just from their online store but anywhere else either and I was perfectly happy to pay full price. This is how you lost a customer who spends a lot when happy but doesn't buy ever again when unhappy with the service. Seeing other customers' bad experience s with this business, mine was obviously not a one-off, and I will certainly not support such a business and will take my money elsewhere!
Very poor experience- 5 weeks, no refund.
Very poor experience. Somehow it took less than a week for my order to arrive but over 5 weeks for my order to be returned! I am constantly chasing up on an update and they keep saying they will get back to me but never do. They are holding on to a huge amount of my money and it is not ok!
Please everyone avoid if there is a chance of your items not fitting correctly like myself. If you return your order don't expect a refund.
