Our 10-day trip to Bhutan exceeded our expectations - from the responsiveness and thoughtfulness of Audley's Bhutan country specials Jason Toms during the planning process all the way through to our last hour in the country. Jason asked a lot of questions and listened well, ensuring that every detail of our trip was on point. As he had personal knowledge of the hotels, modes of transport and activities we discussed, he hit the mark on everything for us. All the details he planned clearly were extremely well vetted because everything large and small, from transport to hotels to experiences went off without a hitch. Their choices for local partners were excellent, and we can't say enough about our guide for the entire trip - Sherab Dorji. He was incredibly knowledgeable, flexible, and an all around great guy!

Our experience in Egypt was truly unforgettable, and so much of that is thanks to our incredible Senior Country Specialist, Liz Vedrani. From the initial contemplation stages until that post/trip call, she was thoughtful, attentive, and consistently responsive, ensuring every detail was handled seamlessly. What stood out most was her ability to go above and beyond to answer questions, explain information and seek out answers for us. She handled everything with grace and professionalism. Her deep knowledge and genuine care made us feel both comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire process. Her personal experience and suggestions elevated the experience. From the onset when we connected with Audley staff with regards to extending our stay in Japan, seeking ideas and destinations for the extended stay, they were very professional in their understanding of our needs and the approach towards meeting our requirements, and finalizing of the logistics. On arrival at our hotel in Tokyo, a complete package with train tickets, Wi-Fi booster etc was sent to us. Their partners Discova were very helpful as well in answering any questions we had.

Mr. Presanna de Silva was wonderful. Prompt, an excellent driver, and took the time to point out and explain the history and geography of this beautiful island country.

Ana was great to work with. As a Brazil specialist she helped me to customize a private journey in Brazil & Argentina prior to a cruise for some clients and also was able to assist with some of the ports on the cruise for private excursions. Great experience.

A special “shout-out” to Audley Travel and their in-country team for making our South Africa & Zimbabwe adventure a memorable one. Especially noteworthy was Audley’s Senior Africa Specialist, Thora Taylor … her in-depth knowledge, recommendations, and attention to detail were key throughout the trip planning and execution process. Our travel consultant Caroline Fahey was amazing to work with! She designed us an epic trip around Ireland and nailed our tastes, pace of travel and things we wanted to do in just one phone call! It is not the first trip we have booked with Audley and will not be the last. She was a wealth of information!

Just completed a 4 week trip to SE Asia (Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand). What an awesome adventure!! From start to finish, Audley were outstanding and provided a first class service which made our trip a once in a lifetime experience. In particular, our Country Specialist (Rachel F) was amazing - she worked with us tirelessly, accommodating many questions and multiple changes, whilst sharing her knowledge and experience, to tailor the trip to our desires. Highly Recommended!!

It all started with plane fare. My travel agent girl would not book the tickets saying their prices were higher than what I could get. I had to book my own flight to Tokyo which was not easy.
The next problem was hotels. She quoted me prices thousands of dollars higher on 5 star hotels than I could get if I booked directly. She then tried to explain that by telling me the room I was looking at did not fit their qualifications. Really? At a five star resort?
So I went with her recommend hotel chain called OMO. These turned out to be the worst property you could imagine. Run down properties with the smallest rooms possible. The free breakfast was overpriced. The same food everyday. Barely edible. She convinced me by telling me it was her favorite property in Kyoto. The front desk people barely spoke English and the promised free city tours did not exist.
The provided guides only took us to cheap tourist stores and some shrines but knew little about them. One guide spoke English so bad I could not understand him.
They did arrainge hotels and train tickets, but for the price they charged it was not worth it. I find them an overpriced tour company, which I would gladly pay, if the value was there.....it wasnt.

Our experience in Vietnam was just thrilling. We were able to see many different cities and taste many different cuisines. We stayed in amazing accommodations and felt like we were truly considered the whole way through. We appreciate the attentive care of our Audley agent, Rachel Forbes.

An amazing experience in Vietnam. This is the third trip I've taken with Audley all under the guidance of Alix Macaluso. Since my first trip with Audley, Alix's local country expertise and insightful probing of preferences have led to wonderful experiences. Audley works with in-country local guides who are always top notch. The private tour experience is always so much more intimate than a group tour even if the group only has 7 or 8 people.

Private experience cost can be scaled up or down based on preferences of hotel, airfare, etc. Most dinners are on your own which is perfect for me as a foodie (where I like to scale up!). Audley does recommend locations for dining which have overlapped with my personal choices so I know they are good!

On a whim, I asked my wife if she wanted to go to Antarctica and she said yes as long as we went to Patagonia in Chile also!

She contacted Audley and then we worked with Tamatha Frederick. She was truly amazing. She listened and suggested and revised and then put together an amazing itinerary with door to door concierge service for the entire trip. Everything went extremely well, not a single hiccup. If something had gone wrong we had local Audley WhatsApp contacts, If needed.

It was a wonderful experience, Tamatha did a great job and we will use them again for our next big adventure (maybe Africa??)

This was our six or seventh trip with Audley. We went to India for a family wedding, but wanted additional travel adventure in India. As always Audley was able to provide a great range of service in each local custom made to each local and our travel interests.

During our trip in Bhutan organized by Jason Toms, I was very happy that we had the same guide and driver throughout our trip. They were both very nice, informative and helpful at all times. The driver was excellent driving through the twisting turns of the road and managed to not hit any animals or children. I felt very comfortable and safe driving with him. Our guide was very patient with me and my recent disability that made it difficult for me to walk. He did an excellent job making changes to our itineraries to accommodate me. He and our driver often helped me up and down stairs and on rough terrain. The cities we visited, and our activities were well thought out and enjoyable. We learned quite a bit about Bhutan, its people and religion.

Audley, and specifically Samantha made everything so easy for us. We told her where we were interested in going and what we were interested in seeing and she took it from there. She planned the perfect France holiday vacation for us, and was very easy to communicate with or get a call scheduled with. She was always quick to answer questions and offer suggestions. We visted Strasbourg, Bayeux (Normandy), and Paris, with tours in each location. They also left days open for us to just play it by ear and do whatever we felt like doing those days. It was the perfect blend of seeing the sites and having tours and downtime. Every driver picking us up, whether it was from the train station, or our hotel, was punctual and exactly where they needed to be. It literally could not have been easier. For example, we stepped off the train in Strasbourg, and the driver was literally right in front of us with a sign with our name. And every other transfer was similar. Likewise, every tour guide was punctual, friendly, professional, knowledgable, and spoke very good English. The hotels in each city that they chose for us were charming, small, quiet, and had delicious breakfast included and the staff at each were friendly and the service was fantastic. We had one small issue on the trip with some tickets to a show that the box office said weren't there when we went to check in, but Audley, Samantha, and Meeting the French jumped into action and were able to get us rescheduled for the show a couple of days later. This was our second trip planned by Audley (our first being our honeymoon), and I have nothing bad to say about them. They take away all the stress of planning a big, not inexpensive, European trip where you're not familiar with the area, hotels, etc.

I HIGHLY recommend Audley to plan your vacations. You won't regret it!

I was planning a 30th anniversary trip to Australia and New Zealand and contacted Audley. It was my first experience with them, and our first visit to this part of the world. I was assigned to Emily and she did an excellent job from start to finish. I really appreciated her asking about our interests and incorporating my answers into a terrific itinerary. She was sensitive to our time constraints and in just over 3 weeks we had a great overview of both countries. I wish we could have stayed longer! I definitely recommend them!

Liz did an amazing job asking questions about how our family likes to travel then making the perfect itinerary based on our wants. We felt heard, understood, safe, and pampered our week in Morocco!

We have used Audley in the past with great success so when we were considering a trip to Antartica we contacted them and Tamatha used her expertise and experience to set up our voyage. She made suggestions and helped us in the selection of the expedition company and scheduled private guides for us in Buenos Aires pre and post expedition. Everything went according to plan and we are so pleased with the way our adventure went. She is knowledgeable, was always on time with phone calls and getting information to us. Audley is great to work with, worthy of high praise.
