Easy order and shipment was prompt. The fit of the capri pants was as described and very comfortable. However the fabric was very easily snagged and after first wearing both pairs have numerous spots... See more

I was told exactly what to do for my return and I did it. The agent was aways very kind and supportive.

I absolutely love there fleece lined golf pants. I ordered a second pair. They sent me the wrong size. Customer service was amazing. They sent me another pair right away and didn’t make me go through the trouble of mailing the wrong size back. Vicki H.

My first order was great. The second one I needed to return two items. Getting return labels was cumbersome (system broken, need to approve, etc.). Finally received labels CLEARLY MARKED for specific items, returned the two SPECIFIC items and was issued a refund amount for the two shirts I didn’t return that were less expensive. This feels intentional. Trying to get past their AI to real people is hard, too. Liked their stuff but won't ever buy from them again and warn others to avoid their sticky fingers, too.

I wanted to exchange the size of 2 pants I ordered. I was told no exchanges, only returns. I followed all their instructions and instead of getting my money back in 1-5 days as promised, I was told they are taking off $40 from the price I paid. Think twice!!!

Scam! Trying to return pants that are too short I had to provide SIX pictures or a video showing they were too short (what a pain) and now they want a picture of the pants with a TAPE measure showing the inseam. Do not buy as you will have numerous hurdles if you need to return them and you will likely NEVER get your money. This is a Chinese online company
Revised: After posting my review here I was contacted via FB messenger by a customer service rep. They apologized and told me I could keep the pants and they would reimburse me the cost of pants plus shipping I paid. I appreciate them doing this and I can verify I received the refund. It is too bad this was not the response initially.

Shirts exactly as described. Looking forward to wearing them on my next trip.

The product is ok but the communication is horrendous. Returns are extremely difficult . I believe this is China based company and perhaps that explains the comm problem. I coukd not figure out how to return something emailed them no reply. Called no answer. Then it was. Too late to return.
I received a different item than I ordered. I submitted a return request through their site, including photos of the incorrect item. I received an email stating that my return was approved but I would be charged a $5.00 return fee--to return the wrong item that they sent to me. I sent three emails requesting that the return fee be waived since I was returning an item that was incorrectly sent to me. After a week of only getting automated responses with no response to my request to refund me in full, I called them. The customer service representative could not find any of the emails that I had sent, including the one just minutes before I called. She said that they had applied the "standard policy" for returns and said I would need to send additional photos for a request to waive the return fee--again, for a wrong item which I did not order. I do not recommend this company due to its inaccuracy in fulfilling orders and for its customer service's inability to understand that their "standard policy" does not apply in a non-standard situation.

I love these top and capris. Don’t cling cool slimmer looking.

Baleaf has horrible customer service. Their items run small, so it is difficult to determine the correct size. They allow 30 days for returns, but require that you submit a request, which must be approved a few days later (sometimes requiring photos). There is not an easy was to reach them by phone, though they may call the customer for details. They charge $5 for every returned item! There are other places to purchase items that are more consumer friendly.

I have not received my order. The tracking number they gave for shipping with usps was the order number, so I can’t track not track it. I have reached out to the company and have had no response.

I ordered two pairs of travel pants on July 31 and merchandise arrived a few days later. I was not comfortable with the length and decided to return the items. It took two days for approval of my request and I finally received the return label. Followed instructions to return via UPS, strangely the address was the same as Amazon in Shepardsville KY. Tracking showed it was delivered on Aug. 11 by Amazon, but they don’t have any record of this transaction. When I called customer service number on company website, no answer but shortly thereafter I had a voicemail from “Joe” at Valley Sports (no such company) with a Detroit area number which is the number on the company website, informing me to send an email to a fake email address for assistance. To date, I have not had contact with this business and assume their website has been hacked. Filed a fraud complaint with my credit company and am awaiting the result of their investigation. DON’T ORDER FROM BAELEF SPORTS WEBSITE!!!

The return process is burdensome and customer service is seemingly non existent. I received a return approval email indicating another email would follow with return instructions. No such email has come. I have sent 2 follow up emails to Baleaf that have been unanswered. I then called Customer Service but got a recording saying all agents are busy and asking me to leave my contact information. Reached out again via online chat feature - but also received no reply/response. I have been working on this for more than a week now. It is a frustrating and disappointing experience!

I returned items and never got a refund! Be careful ordering from them, I will NOT order again!

I ordered three pairs of pants in the same size as a pair I purchased a few years ago, which I loved. I wanted more in different colors. However, when I received the pants, shipped in two separate orders, they were significantly larger than my original pair, despite being labeled as the same size.
I notified Baleaf about the issue and indicated that I needed to return the pants. Jenelyn offered me the option to order a smaller size, but I didn’t want to risk receiving more mis-sized pants. I emailed Jenelyn to express my decision to return the items.
In response, Joel informed me that I would be charged $5 per pair to return the items. This came as a surprise, as there was no mention of this charge during the purchase process. I also learned from other reviews that I didn't need to buy the "Worry-Free Purchase Coverage," which was automatically added to my order.
I have contacted the company several times about my refund, as UPS indicated that they received the returned pants two days after I mailed them. It has now been three weeks since they received the items, and no refund has been processed.
I am beyond angry and frustrated with this company. I keep receiving AI-generated messages in response to my inquiries stating that my return is pending. While I loved my first pair of pants from Baleaf, this experience has soured my opinion of the company. I will not be purchasing anything else from them! Their refund process is absurd, and their product sizing is inconsistent. Buyer beware!

Baleaf373932 Was ordered around July 1. I was advised that it shipped. On 7/10 I received an email saying it was on the way. When I check tracking, I was advised that it hasn’t shipped. This is not the way to do business. Is it a scam? Why am I not getting an update?
UPDATE: I asked for a refund since there was no other reasonable offer. However, they have gone silent. This is an unethical company.

EDIT: Baleaf reached out to me after I posted this review and refunded the items without the $5 return fees. I changed my review from two to four stars, since I believe they are a trustworthy business who cares about customer satisfaction.
===========
I ordered two pairs of pants. One pair had one leg longer than the other, and the other just looked bad on me. I went to return them, and it made me talk with customer service (so they could try to convince me to buy something else) before allowing me to return. Replying to the email did not work as expected, and I had to make an account with them to reply that I still wanted to return the items.
To their credit, they responded quickly that my return was accepted.
However, they sent me some documents with barcodes, where the instructions in the email conflicted with the instructions in the pdfs. I spent a good amount of time trying to figure out what I was supposed to do. I ended up following the instructions in the email, assuming they override the pdf instructions.
They are charging me $5 an item to return, even though the one leg longer issue was their fault and I purchased worry-free protection for $2 (I am now realizing this was a third party thing I should not have wasted money on).
I will not be ordering from Baleaf again.

Given the sizing difficulty when buying online, this companies policies are unreasonable. Will not be purchasing Baleaf products in the future.

Heads up if you shop Baleaf!
Update: after this review went up, they refunded the full $43 with no return required, plus offered a discount code. Draw your own conclusions about why that only happened after I went public.

I want to save you the horror of the AI-script that is Baleaf customer service, but rather than post the entire email exchange, let me summarize what I've learned over many exchanges, for what will be useful for you, my fellow humans.
The standard shipping is free if you spend enough. If you want to return any item from you order, $5 is deducted from any refund PER ITEM (not the entire order).
Standard shipping does not guarantee a refund unless you choose the add-on Worry Free shipping, which in my case was around $5. If you do choose this add-on, this is the email you get from the third party, Seel, who runs this racket:
"You made an excellent choice shopping from Baleaf Sports! They've partnered with Seel to bring you Worry-Free Delivery® on your order #baleafxxxxxx (Seel contract ID: 20260712022 · Fee: $5.19 USD), which allows you to return or exchange your item if there's a product-related issue. You also have access to live support, tracking, and product concierge powered by AI."
This is important, notice the wording "product-related issue". What this means according to BaLeaf customer service rep or AI persona "Joel", is that this only applies if something is wrong with the product, like if it's damaged. This does NOT apply if it looks and fits much different than the marketing photo shows.
The rep or AI personas would not tell me what the standard shipping covers, even over many email exchanges, they just avoided the question repeatedly, in that weird fake soothing but vague tone that AI uses.
But since Worry Free Shipping only covers "product related issues, that makes me believe that their standard shipping does not cover damaged products . Nobody would confirm or deny this, my questions were simply absorbed into the void.
If you cross correlate their lack of information about what is covered with the reviews online that say customer service for returns is bad or non existent, a fuller picture emerges. Their standard shipping and standard return policy without the add-on of Worry Free Shipping, is essentially "hope it gets to you and you like it, cuz if not, sucks to be you".
This is also important: BaLeaf is far from the last word in mid tier synthetic clothing out of China. I learned through my 47 woman hiking group that CRZ Yoga, OQQ, Halara, Colorfulkoala, all occupy this range also. I googled BaLeaf info and found that they are just 3 percent of the market share, and with this level of very strange, very evasive customer service, they will likely not occupy this position for long. I have not yet shopped the other places, so I cannot review them, but hopefully they have not fallen into the AI enshittification that BaLeaf has chosen.
Ask them about their new "Leave us a tip!" option. I asked repeatedly where it goes, that money, and "Joel" told me it doesn't go to any customer service rep or worker, but refused to say where it does go, who it goes to. Secret crowd funding for the company investors? Who will say? Not Baleaf!
Good luck if you shop these jokers. Eventually "Dahn" waived the $5. And notably, the reason Dahn gave me was specific and honest: "our website did not clearly provide the details regarding the Worry-Free Purchase coverage in relation to our return shipping fee." Baleaf, in writing, finally admitted the exact gap I'd been pointing at the whole time.
I am donating instead of returning.
Dhan's reply steered me toward buying from their Amazon storefront instead of Baleaf.com, explicitly because Amazon absorbs return costs that Baleaf can't.
That's a pretty candid admission of the business reality underneath all of this, that direct-to-consumer margins are thin enough that "free returns" isn't sustainable off-Amazon, so they built the ambiguous Worry-Free product as a workaround instead of just saying "returns cost us $5, sorry." Which HUMANS understand, we all know that it's a struggle out there in every direction. But it took days to even get this far, to where I finally uncovered that whole structural reason, not just a rude script.
The whole thing is absurd in hindsight. A single accurate paragraph, sent the first time I asked, would have taken thirty seconds and cost Baleaf nothing. Instead they burned through Jenelyn, Joel, and Dhan, three separate people (or scripted personas), multiple email threads, an escalation, a fee waiver, and now a lost customer (me) who's telling a 47-person hiking group and leaving reviews across multiple platforms.
The "savings" from staying vague cost them vastly more than just answering honestly ever would have.

I had a problem with one of the 4 pair of capris I bought. I contacted “customer service” several times and they just ignored me.
