Unusable
I have signed up on Monday and have not been able to use the service because their interface only shows my ancient devices like iPhone 3s and despite them wasting 2 days of my time with back & forth technical support, they have not done anything. A TOTAL WASTE, STAY AWAY!!!
Cuts through the noise in visual testing
Visual regression testing used to give us hundreds of false positives. The BrowserStack Visual Review agent filters out meaningless differences (like dynamic content timestamps) and highlights actual UI breaks. Our review time has dropped from 2 hours to 20 minutes per build. The AI understands context in a way traditional pixel comparison never could.
Customer scam
Asking customers to provide customer feedback via a virtual call and promising a gift card, but never sending it. Good scam.
Scammers
Being harassed by the sales team after attending a conference. They contacted my coworkers saying that I referred them. Don't trust them, they are scammers!
BrowserStack is a very local company
BrowserStack is a very local company. In October 2025, I purchased their $49 plan and later cancelled the subscription. But now in November, my card has been charged again for $49 even though the subscription was already cancelled. I contacted their support team, but they said they can’t do anything. On top of that, it’s also showing another subscription charge for December 16, which makes no sense.
fails basic test card generation
I just wanted a wanted a test credit card number to work with my app development. The supplied numbers fail LUHN, the CRC of credit cards. Now why would you trust any company that can't get that right. Why are they high in search results?
Our QA team has been using…
Our QA team has been using BrowserStack’s Test Case Generator Agent for a few months, and it’s made a noticeable difference. It helps us create test cases much faster and even suggests edge cases we might miss. The generated tests are well-organized and save us a lot of prep time. We still customize them for our industry and do some manual formatting for our system, but overall it’s been a big time-saver. BrowserStack keeps improving based on feedback, which I appreciate. A solid 4 stars from me — great tool for speeding up test design.
What impressed me most about…
What impressed me most about BrowserStack’s Test Case Generator is how it suggests test scenarios we hadn’t even considered. It analyzes the requirements and creates positive, negative, and boundary test cases automatically. It’s helped our team find gaps in coverage and improved the overall quality of our testing.
Good Experience
BrowserStack’s Self-Healing Agent has made our automated test maintenance so much easier. Before using it, fixing broken locators after every update was time-consuming and frustrating. Now, the AI automatically detects and heals most issues, saving us hours every week. It’s reliable, transparent, and has really improved our workflow and team morale. Highly recommend it for anyone managing large test suites.
Unreasonable Cancelation Practices
Browserstack’s handling of subscription renewals is unreasonable and misleading. We canceled our subscription just days after the cancelation deadline, but instead of honoring the cancellation, Browserstack has chosen to harass us with demands for payment on an invoice we do not owe. We explained the circumstance that we missed the emails because the people who managed the account were laid off. But Browserstack insists the subscription cannot be canceled once it auto-renews — even though we aren’t asking for a refund and haven’t paid anything.
It’s astonishing that Browserstack would rather spend money on legal fees pursuing invalid contracts than simply be reasonable and keep a customer relationship intact. This kind of poor business practice shows the type of bad judgment and management that must spill into other parts of the business. Any company that tries to force you to stay in a contract is selling a sketchy product. Period. They are running their company like scavangers rather than professionals. How about acting like you are working with humans?
Based on this experience, we do not recommend Browserstack. The renewal and cancellation practices are opaque and aggressive, and no business should have to deal with this kind of treatment.
Support is literal garbage
The browserstack experience is cool and all until you run into any issue and need to contact their support team. The responses are in a lot of times nonsense. They also like to just straigh up ignore and dont answer anything just say " oh lets get on a call" like the call would help in any way when i already detailed my issue. We are seriously considering to cancel the automation part of our plan because in a lot of times it fails with no particual error, and the browserstack does not know anything about their product to remotely suggest something that works. So we just guess until its fixed.
Interview process was super…
Interview process was super unprofessional. Recruiter frequently got the timings wrong. I completed a technical test matching the prompt only to be told they needed it in a specific framework(not included in the prompt).
Honestly this company wasted my time
Doesn't work
I tried their Live browser feature to test my localhost website. I followed their instructions perfectly to properly install the BrowerStack Local app. Connecting to my localhost was nearly impossible and I had to pray to get lucky for it to actually go through. I wasted days debugging and of course 40$ for the subscription.
I paid over 1,000 usd for a service that doesn't work…
I paid over 1,000 usd for a service that doesn't even work. Their live app feature doesn't let you access the apps you download. you have access the nothing literally just pure theft.
If you use their service, they will ban you from accessing their devices
I have been a customer for over 6 months, and the one day I had to actually use the service (testing my product on less than 10 separate devices), they banned me from accessing the entire website. I have payed over $500 and this company have blocked my access on the only day in the last six months I have actually had to use the service for more than a single device.
There was no warning, just an instant ban on my IP. The whole point of the service is to have access to different devices.
I will be processing a cancellation immediately.
SCAM ALERT!
so these guys convinced me to buy a yearly plan worth more than 4k USD. and after a 3-4 months they blocked all of my accounts without any detailed reasoning, they also stopped responding to my emails asking for reasons or ways for resuming my account, or a refund for the remaining months but they went completely silent and ate up all of the money. 100% SCAM!
Had issues with local testing for 6+…
Had issues with local testing for 6+ months.
Made around 5 attempts to get help from the support staff and engineers, but all of my requests were ignored.
Shout out to Manvi for ignoring my messages!
Horrible billing practices
We decided we didn't want to renew our corporate contract with them a few weeks before our contract renewal. But they held us to the entire amount of our 5-figure yearly contract since we hadn't notified them at least 30 days in advance. They wouldn't even let us reduce it. Horrible experience. DO NOT USE. There are other tools out there that are not so bloated or expensive.
BrowserStack is a very helpful…
BrowserStack is a very helpful remote-controlled device library for cross-browser testing on real machines with different software versions. It helps me check responsiveness and compatibility quickly. If there is a rare bug on a specific device, I can reproduce it and verify my fixes. I am surprised by the many negative reviews; a paid plan above the freelance level is probably required to get all the benefits without limitations.
