Dream come true, thanks to DistroKid!
I’ve been creating music for a while, and getting it onto streaming platforms always felt complicated. DistroKid made it incredibly easy. Uploading my tracks, filling in the details, and sending everything out took just a few simple steps, with no confusing paperwork or technical headaches.
What impressed me most was how fast the whole process was. My songs went live on the major platforms quickly, much sooner than I expected.

I cancelled my DistroKid membership and…
I cancelled my DistroKid membership and requested a refund weeks ago. I understand that a refund may be subject to DistroKid's policies, but I at least expect a clear response to my request.
On September 20, I contacted support again and was told that my ticket had been escalated to an agent and that I could expect a response within a day or two. No response ever came.
I then tried the live chat several times. The system says, “An agent will be with you shortly,” but no agent connects. After waiting, the session eventually expires and I am told to submit the request again. Then the same process starts all over again.
At this point, the problem is not only the refund. The bigger problem is that I cannot get a meaningful response from customer support at all. Being repeatedly asked to submit the same request and wait for an agent who never connects makes the process feel unnecessarily exhausting and discouraging.
If my refund request is not eligible, simply tell me and explain why. If it is eligible, process it. But leaving a paying customer without a clear answer for weeks is not acceptable customer support.
I hope DistroKid reviews my case and finally provides a real response.
