Please do not waste your precious time on this utter scam dating service. I put in effort to setup a good profile and pictures. After my profile was approved, I could only view about 10 profiles even with wide search parameters. I got some likes but if you want to actually connect the service demands a $949 per month which is completely predatory and exploitation of peoples hopes. I cannot see how any higher educated people (which is the target group of this app) would think this is good value.

Their pricing structure is crazy. If you look up their company online, it says $65 a month for a 3-month total commitment. If you look on their site, it's $499 per month. No options. Deceit Incorporated.

Terrible site. No good matches and I am not even able to delete my pictures! They are thieves of my data. I can't delete my account either. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SCAM SITE.

I'm using the Elite Singles app for golfers and it's a waste of money. Over 70% of the profiles don't have pictures. I received 12 messages on my first day, replied to two of them and haven't received answers back. Really no one I'm interested in. Cancelling my subscription after one month, although apparently some people have been charged even after cancelling and have had difficulty getting a refund.

Like many other subscribers I have got my share of feeling mislead. I tried to unsubscribe according to the EU laws just after 2 days as I realised that the site is not real with false advertising, false profiles and misusing of customers data, but I only got automated mails from socalked customer service, which ignored my claim for subscription cancellation during the first 14 days. First after I dallied the advise of my bank and let them block my credit card, so that the Spark Networks, which is the company behind EliteSingles could not withdraw money from my account AND wrote them a letter with all facts I found online through research about the history of this corrupt company, they got back to me and apologised for their mistake and acclaimed that they had refund my money paid for the first month. But this was not true.
Here is a resume of what I found online through research, which explains why I would have given the EliteSingles 5 💩 and O star if I could:
Spark Networks GmbH is an American-German dating company founded 1997 under the name MatchNet plc.
Jdate.com, founded in 1997, was the company's first venture into online dating. The company was also home to Christian Mingle, which was launched in 2001.
The company went public on June 27, 2000 in Germany.
In January 2005, the company changed its name to Spark Networks because management felt that the new name more sharply distinguished the company in the marketplace.
The company continued redesigning and making acquisitions through coming years.
On November 2, 2017, Spark Networks SE announced the completion of the previously announced merger of Spark Networks, Inc. and Affinitas GmbH in a stock-for-stock transaction. The combination created a worldwide online dating platform, with brands including EliteSingles (Partnermit Niveau) , eDarling, Jdate, Christian Mingle, JSwipe, and Attractive World serving a spectrum of users across 29 countries and 15 languages.
Interestingly On October 3, 2018, Spark was fined $500,000 and ordered to pay $985,000 in restitution in response to complaints that the site was automatically renewing customer accounts without their express consent. The company was sued by the Santa Monica city attorney as well as district attorneys in four counties.
Following this the Company moves their legal existence from US to Berlin in Germany. (Unfortunately no question asked by German authorities ;-()
It looks that the company has continued taking costumers money without their consent in Europe as they did in US.
In the surface they even grow with over 1 Million subscribers worldwide and then:
On January 12, 2024, pursuant to the StaRUG restructuring plan, confirmed by a German court on January 4, 2024, the Local Court of Munich, Germany registered the reduction of the company's share capital to zero (and cancellation of the stock) and subsequently issued new share capital, all of which was issued to a subsidiary of MGG Investment Group.As a result, MGG Investment Group is now the sole owner of Spark Networks.
On April 15, 2024, the German Court certified and formally confirmed that the StaRUG restructuring plan and confirmation order entered on January 4, 2024, are final and non-appealable.
Short time later appears their case at New York Southern Bankruptcy Court on BKalerts.com.
Yesterday I got this mail from costumer service of Elitedating in respond to my mail about the refund I never received :

The current EliteSingles brand is now operated by a new team. Any subscriptions, payments, billing records, or user data from before the brand transition were handled by the previous operator. Unfortunately, we do not have access to their billing system or historical user database, so we are unable to directly review, restore, or refund previous subscriptions.
You are welcome to use the current EliteSingles service.
If you can provide proof of your previous paid subscription, such as a receipt, order screenshot, or payment record, we will be happy to review it. Depending on the information provided, we may offer a limited free Premium membership as a goodwill gesture.

Well what does this say about the Company: they redesign themselves after lawsuits and bankruptcy again and again. They continue cheating and misleading people who are blinded in their search for happiness and togetherness at a fraud vending machine with no soul.
Do you know how you should respond to therm : block your credit card, shut down your profile ant all their Apps and go to dating events and bars and all kind of social events instead. This is more fun and there is a bigger chance that your eyes meet an other nice reel persons eyes and they begin to spark, if you start having more eye contact and smile❣️

Terrible, I'm a great lady honest kind friendly stable and I have a lot of love to give the right person, but Elite Singles banned me blocked my profile for no reason believe I did nothing wrong I was talking to a could of men on there dating site hoping to find a special man and fall in love in my future and then I was just BANNED no reason nothing, so sad so wrong PLEASE do not try to use this dating site I could see there are a lot of fake profiles on Elite Singles but did not mind I believed I could still find love there, but ( NO ) I was Banned for no reason please do not wast your time on Elite Singles

It felt like a complete scam — so bad it actually made me feel sick 🤢
The responses I got were terrible — not even close to my preferences. And these are supposed to be “educated” people? Honestly, it felt insulting. For the first 4 days I received photos, then suddenly — nothing. Just fake profiles and made-up qualifications. Total nonsense.

Do yourself a favor… like my mom used to say, “you’ll meet the right person in a supermarket” 😉
Seriously, don’t waste your time or money. You’d be far better off donating to a charity or doing some volunteer work — your chances there are way higher than with this mess.
And just so you know — you never actually talk to a real person.
Oh, and yes — I reported them to the BBB too.

This dating site is fake … a BS .., I think they use AI to randomly let you see profiles and they don’t curate a list or anything . It’s not a real dating app . Has to be banned ..

This site fell woefully short of my expectations. Foolishly, I convinced myself I would find a curated collection of high calibre potentials… in reality, there was not one…. not one match AT ALL !! Not one message, not one like …..even changed all my criteria to be fully accepting of everybody, just to test it, and still nothing. Nothing more than a scam to get your money,

What a scam this is from greedy money grabbing bandits
who hide and provide no service, but are quick at steeling money.
People, be aware close your pocket and go mingle somewhere else.

I paid 3 days ago for a whole month and today they revoked my subscription. For the 3 days I had 4 contacts ALL of which were scammers. I had hard proof only for one but reported this plus the others as suspects. I had not done anything illegal. I just browsed and clicked heart or cancellation. When you click heart the profile disappears and you cannot see it unless the other person clicks heart too.
the reply their customer care gave me is:
"Your account was blocked because inconsistencies were detected—this is part of our commitment to keeping the community safe. We don’t share specific details about the detection process, but these actions are always in line with our Terms & Conditions, Online Dating Safety Policy, and Privacy Policy.

When an account is suspended, access to premium features and communication is restricted, so your subscription benefits are paused for as long as the block is in place. The subscription itself doesn’t automatically cancel or refund when an account is blocked, but you won’t be able to use paid features during the suspension. "

After a week of silence, they did eventually refund me on my request. However, the experience is horrific as every single person that contacted me (about 7 of them) turned out to be a scammer. How do I know - after 18 years of being owning 2 online shops and an e-commerce platform I can smell scammer from far away.

This was the worst dating site ever. I paid for a 6 months membership and feel that I completely wasted my money. The quality of the matches offered was very poor and did not match their advertisement. Their website is cumbersome and their algorithm does not work.
It cannot even follow the selected criteria when it comes to distance or age. Do not sign up for them. You will regret it.

Horrible! Too many fake profiles, too many inactive profiles and very difficult to get a refund. They have the upper hand and can block your account erroneously, take days to respond to a complaint and do not consider delays into your three day cooling off period for a refund. Horrible so buyers beware! Apple is just as bad because they refuse to honor the three-day refund period as well.

I met my partner through elite singles just over 7 years ago..from day one we have had the best relationship ..we know we were lucky to meet each other as we know how hard it is to meet a genuine person ❤️ we're getting married at the end of this month February 2026. Regards Cathy

Absolute trash. Besides poor quality service, the cancellation process is a labyrinth designed to take and keep your money. Terrible and unethical.

After 5 months of sending appox 10+ likes daily (which is all you can do) I have only 1 person acknowledging me. Filled out the profile, great pictures as well and no response by all the fake profiles
First, 99% of matched guys pictures/profiles are NOT Elite; there is no criteria that would qualify for Elite anything, zero screening by the company. Profiles are repetitive, after lots of attempts, same people have pictures repeated, and still no responses....perhaps AI driven and No One is real. Disappointing that this is just another scam. Is there any app genuinely providing an only way to meet your partner.???

Also, while searching you can’t message anyone and you can’t see the people you liked. Bad dating site.

Joined just now and my account was immediately blocked. When I contacted them, they would not give me a reason. I then requested confirmation that my profile and photos would be deleted. Three time. No answer from them at all

If I could give it ZERO stars I would. I signed up for an account, created my profile, added photos, and then viewed one person. I liked them and then a big messaged popped up saying "Access to your account has been blocked". NO CLUE AS TO WHY THIS HAPPENED. I received NO verification prompt. So I emailed support and they said "I'm not eligible to use their service at this time". What kind of CROCK of garbage is THAT????? There is ZERO way to resolve this.

I would stay away from this site at all costs.
