Great customer service, very quick replies to emails, quick shipping and great after sales service. I wish more companies were as good!

After ordering 5 pistons I. December, months to buy I'm told my parts are behind produced , then after several months they say they won't be produced at all , no refund issued and ghosted , absolutely appalling business .

ENGINE DIY is definitely five stars for both products and customer service. I have placed several orders. All the products are designed and manufactured to high tolerances. The kits are fantastic and fun to assemble. I especially like the steam engine kits. They operate with authenticity and look beautiful doing it. I am very impressed. I am also very impressed with ENGINE DIY customer service. One item I ordered was misrouted by the carrier service provider and I didn't receive it. I contacted ENGINE DIY. Less than 12 hours later a new order had been generated and sent using a different carrier service. Without hesitation I consider that to be excellence! Through ENGINE DIY, I've discovered a fantastic new hobby building and collecting these awesome model engines. Thank you ENGINE DIY!

I have purchased many engines from EngineDiy and I can say without doubt I have never regretted any of my purchases, the dispatch has always been prompt unless the item was out of stock and the tech support has been great.

I recently received my 100th anniversary Lister engine from enginediy. I opened it just like I have my others I’ve purchased from them. I prepared it for its first start up & like my others it started up first try with no issues. It is an awesome engine. So far I’ve been very pleased & impressed from everything I’ve purchased from this company. Top notch products, unmatched quality & so far reliability. I run my engines a lot. I would recommend Enginediy to anyone & I have.

Package arrived on-time and in good condition. I build the mechanical leopard model. It was fun to build, great instructions, well-fitting parts, no missing parts. The end result is beautiful, detailed and robust. Highly recommended.

My! what an excellent and exciting place to shop!
I expect most model steam engine builders will eventually wash up on the shores of EngineDIY, as I have dome, and they will be very surprised and happy with EngineDIY's considerable range of items for sale. Today I was looking at their drop-down menu "Accessories: Engine Tools" and was quite staggered to find a mini, desk-top drill press at a very affordable price as well as a mini, desk-top milling machine (for shaping steel) that I cannot afford (at least, not at the moment). but would love to have some day. Such a machine is really indispensable to a serious model engineer. Of their ten top-menus, eight are drop-downs that cover just about every need; their "Engine Model" menu, for example, has everything from Stirling engines to steam and all kinds of gas engines to boot. I was only specifically interested in a small fraction of their stock, at this time, so what I am writing right now is not at all conclusive. But take the time to take a visit yourself; you'll be very pleasantly surprised. My second order (the first was a web-search visit for a specific item) was for a couple of items that I had seen on their Stirling engines page. They arrived well-packed and in jig time. Great quality, great service!

I bought the Steampunk Bee and enjoyed assembling it. All the parts were there and I love the look of the finished product.

i like the size , it looks like technical :-)
my item runs right out of the box.
the flywheels are well made with no imbalance.
allmost 1 hour run with one full gastank .
to push trouble away , take the engine let it run and watch it .

A few years ago, I was offered an inline four-cylinder engine, model DM13-L4-T. I now need to replace a rubber belt that had broken. I consulted EngineDye for this purpose and everything went very well. The response was immediate and communication was always with Lucas, who was always very helpful. The problem was solved. The delivery time of the item was adequate.

I placed an order for the M16A engine several months ago. It shipped with no problem and made it to the states to the hands of the last mile carrier for final delivery. The driver for the final delivery placed my package in a questionable location and it was stolen. After contacting the merchant (Lucas at EngineDIY) and contacting the last mile delivery company, EngineDIY replaced my stolen parcel. There was some waiting time involved and some initial question as to if replacement would happen but, it did. I now have the engine that I purchased and I am a happy customer. After some thought, I realized that there must be some processing time involved in the replacement process for a stolen package. EngineDIY is a good company to deal with. Don't be afraid to make a purchase from them, they are legit and I will buy from them again.

Cison Starter Bracket
When I initially purchased the Cison V8s, I wanted to go brushless starter motors. I was concerned that the brackets may need to be modified for the new motors to work. I ordered two new brackets. The conversion was very simple and the brackets did not require any modifications. These brackets are the same ones that come with the Cison pro V8. I will be getting the brackets powder coated in the future. The shipping was fast from Enginediy and the brackets were packaged very well.

My initial shipment was missing some items, but customer support was quick to fix the issue and had the other items shipped asap. Both shipments moved through the mail system quicker than expected, and had tracking that updated regularly so I knew when to keep an eye out for the delivery. The items themselves are great quality and look beautiful. Very happy with the purchase.

My ultimate retirement gift to myself was the “Rocking Whale” RW-BL1K steam engine. Received the engine to discover that the kit was missing two extremely vital components. It was simple to e-mail a representative and in a reasonable amount of time, the parts were sent to me. My thanks to Lucas for helping me and keeping me informed during this process. This incident demonstrated excellent customer support. Thanks!
