We stayed at Mount Battenhall on a Try before you Buy experience arranged by Tom and the sales team. We were very impressed by the quality of the whole Retirement Village. The staff were very friendly and helpful, answering all our questions and giving us a detailed and guided tour of the complex. The opportunity to meet several of the residents was also very helpful.
Overall we were very impressed by the Retirement Village, its location and what it has to offer.

Having received a promotional leaflet for a show home launch with Enterprise Retirement Living at Mount Battenhall. I was not impressed that they put a stamp on it to the value of 20p! I had to pay £3.50 for insufficient postage.
Surely not a good advert for such a high end Retirement village.

Experiencing Mount Battenhall was truly enjoyable. Tom, my guide, delivered an expert and insightful tour, detailing both the amenities available and the buying process. The exceptional quality of Mount Battenhall is evident everywhere: the historic house is stunningly refurbished, and the new apartments complement its elegance perfectly. While I’m not planning to relocate soon, I would certainly consider Mount Battenhall as a sophisticated and wonderful living option in the future.

We received a warm welcome from the sales team and were shown up to the first floor apartment. The apartment had all the refinements that you would expect with excellent kitchen and bathroom details.
Being located in the main house rather than the newly constructed apartment block it had an individual configuration of rooms.
A stand out feature of this development is the high quality furnishing in the shared living spaces which include a welcoming lounge, drawing room, bar and craft room together with the excellent restaurant which is open to residents daily and offers a "takeaway" service to residents apartments.
Without question this is one of the best high quality retirement villages that we have visited.

My Mom was very happy living here. She had the perfect mix of privacy but community when she needed it. The communal gardens and living area are beautiful to look at as well as so relaxing to spend time in. All of the staff take pride in empathy and attentiveness. Thank you to everyone who helped make Mom’s time here to be so happy. Thank you Brian, Lynsey, Claire, Simon and to Jess.

Following some initial reservations about moving from her previous home, my mum, sister and I were bowled over by the beautiful buildings and apartments at Battenhall. The sales team were lovely and had plenty of time to allow us to get acquainted with Battenhall and all it has to offer. It took us a while to work out if it was better to rent or buy and they were very patient and helpful with us during that process.

It was wonderful to stay in the’ try before you buy’ apartment on the day of the move. That meant Mum could be comfortable whilst we unpacked and set up the apartment for her. The thoughtful touches including a stocked fridge were a lovely addition to the overall experience and care from the staff.

Everyone, from the managers to the weekly help and odd job man have been so helpful, warm and welcoming ensuring a safe transition.

Mum is warm, comfortable and most importantly feels safe in her new home at Battenhall. Having been a life-long keen gardner she is loving the outlook onto the beautiful gardens.

Making a transition like this later on in life can be daunting but all the staff have made the whole process not only easier but feel like an aspirational move at a time in life when you might not expect such things. We all wished she had made the move sooner!

Because of declining health and the difficulty of maintaining a large house, my wife and I moved to the Mount Battenhall retirement village just four weeks ago. We are already convinced that we have done the right thing.

Our flat, in the new block, is spacious, warm and generally well-designed, with nice touches such as very effective non-slip floors in the bathrooms. The environment of Mount Battenhall, with its formal gardens, trees and woodland, is delightful, an oasis of tranquillity in the heart of the city.

We have found the staff, led by the general manager Clare Davies and the sales manager Jess Hewlett, to be unfailingly friendly and helpful. Their "assisted move" scheme greatly eased the inevitable stress of moving house.

We would recommend Mount Battenhall to anyone looking for a more protective and supportive environment while still maintaining their independence.

I was shown around Mount Battenhall by Tom who was extremely professional friendly, knowledgeable and patient. He listen to my requirements and showed me the appropriate apartments and also showed me an apartment that was not my preferred choice so that I could see the alternatives. Tom's time and professionalism was very much appreciated

The sales team have been incredibly informative and helpful. Jess and Tom in particular, have gone beyond the call of duty to make the journey into Mountbatten hall seamless. Also, Clare and all the other staff I have met (so far)are pleasant polite and helpful. I look forward to settling in.

My visit to Mount Battenhall was a real delight. Throughout, my guide Tom provided a highly professional and informative overview of the facilities on offer and of the purchase process.
It is clear everything at Mount Battenhall is of the highest quality - the original house is beautifully restored. The new-build apartments match the quality of the house.
I have no immediate plans to move, but, when the time comes, I would consider Mount Battenhall an excellent place to live in great style.

Having looked at the Mount Battenhall website we were intrigued and wanted to know more. Our visit confirmed our first impressions. The main building is beautifully done and offers lovely rooms which have been well designed with excellent kitchen and toilet facilities. The newer building is also built to the same high standards and all set in beautiful gardens and grounds. The communal areas are all warm and welcoming and offer lots of activities. An excellent tour by Jess brought it all together and confirmed it is a great place for communal living.

When we first visited Mount Battenhall we were very impressed by the stunning renovation of the main building, but it just got better when we viewed the apartments and found the perfect one for us. Not only did the experience get better, nothing was too much trouble for the whole team who were highly professional. They explained everything we needed to know with sensitivity and put us at ease.
Thank you Jess for keeping in contact and helping with every aspect of our move also all the other members of the management team we met, nothing was too much trouble and we can’t wait to move to this stunning place!

I live in Worcester and work for the Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven which is the only breast cancer charity in the country providing services above and beyond what the NHS can and do provide.
I have known Gill Mills @ Mount Battenhall for a couple of years now as Mount Battenhall have done numerous fund raising events for us over the last few years for which we are extremely greatful. They have raised a lot of money for us and we are lucky to have their continued support , Clare Stokes.

Beautiful place - friendly staff. The restoration of the former nunnery is top notch and the new additions have been made seamlessly. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the turkey sandwich we had was lovely.
