The new Estée Lauder foundation formula…
The new Estée Lauder foundation formula is dreadful why change something that doesn’t need to be changed! Using that foundation for 18 years. I now can’t stand this product and the new bottle leaks the customer service is also shocking sent a email to their customer service nearly a month ago and still waiting for a reply! Probably because they are getting a lot of disappointed customers. If your thinking of trying this foundation don’t it’s terrible now and doesn’t compare to the old formula
No communication about delivery of…
No communication about delivery of order, no updates as to why delivery still hasn’t arrived (six working days so far) and no interest from Estée Lauder.
Dreadful service and recommend that nobody uses them ever!
Be good if you could talk to a human in customer service but waited for over 40 mins and got cut off.
New double wear foundation is horrendous
New double wear foundation is absolutely awful, not even close to the old formula. Wears off, has no staying power, not as good coverage, very sticky and not matte at all. It seems cheap and nasty, colour difference which wasn't too bad but staff on counter quite rude and adamant the colour was the same, it's very clearly not.
Promised gift not honoured
I took EL up on a special offer with a free gift. This gift was not included in the package although specified in the order email. No note was included to apologise.
When I contacted the customer service depaartment they were not apologetic and just said it was in the T&C's that gifts could become unavailable. It would seem there is no stock control so that a customer can know at the point of order. I feel that my order was obtained under false pretences. Other customers should be aware that gift promised on orders are not always honoured.
I bought a lipstick
I bought a lipstick. Put it on 2 times and it broke. For a price of 50 euro this is disappointing. I would not recommend this brand to any one of my friends.

Parcel not delivered and its 25 days
Ordered perfume online 2nd may . After waiting 25 days not delivered . Lost as it seems through evri. I would of expected royal mail tracked for an expensive perfume . Got in touch with estee lauder only by text and they refused to ring me under my suggestion. No.opology money back after 7 days or another other through evri . I suggested a free sample for an opology but no ..where is customer service

I've been a loyal customer for a little over 2 years, I did not receive last package sent, as it was mislabeled and returned to them, 2 months I've been dealing with this issue with ZERO results, I'm out 280.00. I will never purchase another item from any lauder company.

I honestly cannot believe how much the quality has dropped. I ordered my usual foundation after using it for years and the formula feels completely different now — thinner, patchy, and somehow both sticky and dry at the same time. The shade also oxidized within an hour and made my skin look orange by the afternoon.
What made the experience worse was customer service. I tried reaching out for help and spent forever waiting just to get generic copy-paste responses that solved nothing. For a brand that markets itself as luxury, the support and consistency are shockingly poor. Between the disappointing product and the frustrating order experience, I will be taking my money elsewhere from now on.
Promotion not honoured
Placed an order after receiving an email offering a promotion if you spend £90+. The promotion WASN'T honoured, I wasn't even notified of this or given the option to cancel my order. No samples were sent either despite being selected at checkout and the box that my £89 serum arrived in was battered but luckily the bottle was intact. Awful service all round. The only saving grace was the lady I spoke with at customer service.
*UPDATE - the same item that was out of stock and no longer available for promotion is miraculously being offered again today via email. No doubt it will conveniently be out of stock again once an order has been placed.

I’ve been wearing Estée Lauder for 34 years and I just bought a new bottle last week,it’s disgusting,it felt like paste on my face and it made my complexion darker,it looks like I’m 10 years older, they destroyed this makeup,I’m bringing it back and I’ll have to go with another company, very sad to say this but I think they have made the biggest mistake in there life,I want my money back,I was buying it at Macys but it’s coming back,🥶😖very bad don’t waste your money

Really shocked at the news of your high court case against Ms Malone for being a person . Lost all trust. Will not buy from a company with these ethics.
Disappointing
Bought this as an alternative to MAC as EL have better shades. However upon buying their DoubleWear foundation I was seriously disappointed. I've watched tutorials on how to apply and they say 3 pumps of the foundation is enough... it isn't. It's a very watery runny consistency and my biggest issue with it is as soon as you start applying it, it's setting... giving you not much time at all to apply it!!! This alone puts me off, not only that but it seems to patch up in places, no matter how hard you blend it into your skin. For the price, it just doesn't match up for the quality. Now I'll have to find another foundation:(
Avoid
I am beyond disappointed with my experience ordering from Estée Lauder.
After being bombarded with an excessive amount of marketing emails, I finally placed an order — only to receive no proper confirmation and no dispatch email whatsoever. My payment was taken immediately, yet the items were never shipped.
When I contacted customer service via chat, the agents were rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. There was no accountability, no clear explanation, and no effort to resolve the issue. It felt like they simply did not care.
Taking customers’ money without shipping products and then refusing to cooperate is unacceptable. I will now be escalating this through PayPal to recover my funds, as the company has failed to resolve the issue directly.
I strongly warn others: think twice before ordering. The aggressive marketing may look appealing, but based on my experience, the service and follow-through are shockingly poor.
Do not buy from Estee Lauder direct
Do not buy from Estee Lauder direct. It's not the products that are the problem, it's their absolutely atrocious service. I have been waiting over a week for products that I would have got in days if I had bought from any of the beauty online retailers or a department store beauty dept/pharmacy online. For such a huge company in 2026 to not be able to facilitate deliveries in a timely fashion is unbelievably poor, old fashioned and shows terrible business acumen. There is no way I'd buy direct again and from the reviews I'm not the only one. Disappointing and frustrating.
Terrible customer service
I have been a loyal Estee Lauder customer for 15+ years, using Double Wear daily. The new formula is absolutely terrible and nothing like the origional. My usual shade (3N1) looks completely different on my skin and is oxidising, turning orange shortly after application. I have spoken with Customer Services today to try and get a refund but as I purchased from a 3rd party, this has been declined. I waited over an hour to speak with someone and when I finally got through, they did not have any knowledge of Estee Lauder products. Appalling service for what is meant to be a premium supplier.
Double Wear Foundation --- Very Disappointed Long Term Customer
I have been a loyal Double Wear customer for years and I genuinely think Estee Lauder is about to lose a huge number of long term customers including me. The decision to suddenly change a foundation that millions of women rely on feels careless and completely out of touch with what people actually use this product for.
The new formula is runny, it claims to control oil but somehow makes my face look more oily, and the finish is sticky in a way the original never was. I understand some people like a dewy look but many of us do not, and this could easily have been introduced alongside the original instead of replacing it overnight.
I also understand there are new EU restrictions but the way this was handled was not customer friendly at all. The shades are not the same. I have worn 1N2 Ecru for years and the new version is noticeably darker with an orange tint. I hate it. I am already looking at alternatives from Dior and Lancome because this feels like a real betrayal of a product I trusted.
It does not stop there. The SPF detail has disappeared from the front and the overall finish is nothing like the Double Wear we all know. It feels like decisions were made based on assumptions about what customers want but everyone wants different things, and removing the original formula without warning was not the way to do this.
Estee Lauder could have introduced the new version gradually, collected feedback, improved it, and only then phased out the old one. Instead, people have not even had time to find a suitable alternative. Very disappointed Estee Lauder, very. If this was a cost saving move, it is going to backfire.
I have been a loyal user of your Double…
I have been a loyal user of your Double Wear Foundation for many years. After trying several other brands in the past, I found your product to be the only one that truly worked for me, and I have consistently loved its quality and finish.
However, after purchasing what appears to be the newer version, I am very disappointed. The texture is much more runny than before, and instead of the long-lasting matte finish I relied on, it absorbs into my skin like a cream and leaves my face feeling sticky.
This is a significant change from the formula I trusted for years. I would like to know if the product has been reformulated, and whether the original version is still available.
If this issue cannot be resolved, I will unfortunately have to consider switching to a different brand, which I would prefer to avoid given my long-standing loyalty
I’ve used double wear for 15+ years…
I’ve used double wear for 15+ years after transitioning over from Clinique when they messed with a foundation that worked as it was. The new formula is awful. As someone with very oily skin this was the only foundation that worked (and I tried all brands). Now it doesn’t work. Nor does it provide the coverage I wanted. Yes, you can double layer (bottle goes quicker, requiring more frequent purchases!) but even then it’s not as good and the colour isn’t the same. I’m a long standing fresco but it looks terrible, darker and patchy after a full days wear. Why companies like Estée Lauder change a product that has been a best seller for 30+ years is beyond me. You’ve now lost one loyal customer as I search again, as I did when Clinique did this, for another product. Very disappointing!
Not impressed with the new double wear fomula
I’ve used Estée Lauder Double Wear for over 30 years, so I was really hopeful about the new formula. Unfortunately, it’s a disappointment. The finish feels sticky even after an hour, and the shade seems lighter than before. It just doesn’t sit as nicely on my skin as the old version. A real shame as I’ve always loved this foundation. ⭐⭐
