Fraudulent company
eTags charged $159.95 upfront to transfer a title from a deceased relative. They did not disclose another $542.67 in agency + state fees to complete the transaction. Their service supervisor claims the $542.67 were state fees only, but I eventually went to the DMV, where the entire fee with the DMV was $347.48. Lying about the additional $195.19 agency fee hidden in the $542.67 is blatantly fraudulent and will be reported to the FTC.
To make matters worse, eTags refused to complete the transaction, and refused to refund my order.

eTag is NOT for Urgent Matters AT ALL
I utilized this service because it was urgent that I get tag transferred with insurance and keep my Driver's License from getting Suspended. Day 1 - $159.95 for the "service" Day 2 - Received an unexpected email charging another $195 for DMV costs. Had to FedEx the paperwork. 2 days later, once received called to find out how long this would take. Another few days. This is NOT what I paid for. Urgency is what I paid for. And the COST is EXCESSIVE. Go to your county Tag Office and get it done. This service is a joke.

Ordered a title
Ordered a title. Took 5 months! 5 MONTHS!!! Then when it came, it was for the wrong vehicle. 6 months to get a title on someone else's vehicle. The saving grace is they told me "It's impossible for me to get my money back."

A bit expensive but it worked out for the best since I ended up registering the wrong vehicle…but actually it wasn’t my fault because they sent me a text saying that I needed to register plates that expired back in 2018 but I hadn’t realized that since I did not take a look at my Vehicle plate numbers. When I did, I called them immediately and they were all quite nice about canceling that and going ahead and registering my correct plate numbers. Thank you again for your expertise.

Mailed my registration to the wrong…
Mailed my registration to the wrong address and refused to correct it. The registration itself had my correct address, but they still shipped it elsewhere. I never received what I paid for and was left without a valid registration unless I paid again.

My license plate was not in the E tag…
My license plate was not in the E tag system for some unknown reason (even though I’ve successfully used it and renewed my registration in the past) so I had to enter all the information manually, which was frustrating. My new registration documents were delivered promptly, however.
