Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 1,785 reviews, most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Many customers appreciate the quality of the products, finding the cameras and door locks to be high-quality and well-thought-out, with excellent picture and sound. Reviewers also highlight the ease of installation and setup for various devices, making them convenient to use. The app integration is generally well-executed, and many find the products helpful for daily tasks like cleaning, saving time and effort. However, some people were dissatisfied with customer service, reporting issues with responsiveness, unhelpful interactions, and a lack of support for product defects. There are also concerns regarding product durability, with some devices failing prematurely or not performing as advertised, particularly with battery life and motion detection accuracy. The app and user experience also receive criticism for being difficult to use, slow, or having connectivity issues, which can render otherwise functional products unusable.

I bought a doorbell camera and after a few months it suddenly stopped recording on the sd card. So because it was under warranty they were liable to send me a new one. Got the new one and a few months later this one won't connect to the Internet. This is 2 products that bearly had bearly any use on them. Obviously over the 12 month warranty. Contacted customer service and was told it wasn't covered anymore. So it's OK for these products to fail for no reason at all. As I said bearly any use. Never ever again would I buy this brand. Absolute garbage. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

wish I could give negative stars. eufy is pure GARBAGE!!!!

I have a ton of eufy products (purposely left un-capitalized. They haven't earn a capital letter). They are all pure GARBAGE!!!! Inside and outside cameras. They constantly loose connection to wifi no matter where they are in relation to the mesh network nodes or how good the wifi is. I have the 1 gig Xfinity plan in the city on a single lot. There's no way the internet provider is the cause of eufy's crappy product failures.

Rubbish) i purchased a doorbell camera a year…

I purchased a doorbell camera a year ago & the battery was supposed to last 6 month's.
In less than a year the battery is lasting no more than 2 weeks.
I would not recommend a eufy doorbell to anyone who is thinking of buying one.
The are absolutely rubbish.

Eufy products are not reliable

I bought a security system from Eufy comprising of one floodlight camera E340, three E330 Professional outdoor cameras, 5 smart entry sensors and the HomeBase 3 central unit, so I invested a bit in this brand. The E330 Professional cameras broke within 2 years from installation. What is the point to pay for these quite expensive cameras, which take good quality images otherwise, but they break down so quick and the Customer Service is useless, replying that the warranty is ONE YEAR only. You wouldn't expect from an expensive PROFFESIONAL camera to have only 1 year warranty. This says everything about the reliability of EUFY products.

Really disappointed

Really disappointed. I get notifications to say that a camera has an event: I go to the events on my app and "Nothing". But if I then go to the previous day's events and then back again to today the events do show. This has happened consistently since purchase. I have perfect connection at bot the camera and the phone. Rubbish really.

Outstanding customer service - OK products

I've bought a cleaning robot which had a few issues (mainly dirty water was not completely sucked away from the robot leaving an unpleasant smell). I was worried of going though customer service seeing some reviews, but they took me through some quick troubleshooting and shortly after offered a replacement. They also allowed me to send back the old unit after receiving the new one to avoid downtime. They are also very responsive. 10/10 service

C31 outdoor / indoor camera

C31 outdoor / indoor camera.

The design team at Eufy must be asleep at the wheel.

Who would design a wired ‘security’ camera that is connected by a USB cable that can be pulled out by an intruder rendering a camera instantly useless.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. After 11 months door bell battery last for 5 days. Contacted customer service and they offer replacement. What they forgot to mention is that unit has been used and fixed. Fixed and come broken. The chime sync button dead so set up not possible. In mean time through Amazon got the offer from service department for full refund. Applied and…. Silence.
I will never have anything from this company in my house again.
Never matter how they acting when you buy. After sale service is important.

Avoid the Eufy C31 — Terrible Battery Life and Poor A!

Absolutely appalling Eufy C31 doorbell camera. The battery barely lasts 3 days because it keeps recording passing cars all night, EVEN when “Human Only” detection is enabled and the activity zone is set only to my front door. If Human Detection actually worked properly, I should NOT need to create tiny activity zones just to stop useless recordings.
And now Eufy asks customers to “Enhance My AI” by donating our videos to train their system? Why should paying customers have to help fix AI that should already work properly in an expensive security product?
The whole point of buying a smart doorbell is reliability and decent battery life. Instead, this Eufy C31 constantly drains battery recording irrelevant movement while the AI struggles to recognise basic differences between humans and cars.
Very disappointing product. Would not recommend.

UPDATE: While I remain disappointed with the poor AI detection and battery performance of the Eufy C31, I appreciate that customer service handled my refund request professionally and resolved the matter quickly.

I purchased the eufy X10 Pro Omni brand…

I purchased the eufy X10 Pro Omni brand new as soon as it launched in the UK, hoping it would be a reliable, long-term cleaning companion. Unfortunately, while it started off great, my experience has been marred by repeated mechanical failures.To give credit where it’s due, eufy's customer support team has been very helpful. They are polite, responsive, and have done their best to troubleshoot and resolve issues when I have contacted them. The software and app integration are also well-executed.However, great customer service cannot compensate for what appears to be a fundamental flaw in the product's design. Despite being a premium machine, it continuously goes wrong and suffers from persistent operational faults that prevent it from functioning reliably over time. When a high-end product requires this much intervention and fails repeatedly through normal use, it points to engineering vulnerabilities rather than a one-off defect.It is a real shame because the features on paper are excellent. However, due to its lack of durability and repeated breakdowns, I cannot recommend the X10 Pro Omni in its current state. I am now in the process of seeking a refund under UK Consumer Rights legislation.Date of experience: last two years including May 2026.

I genuinely cannot believe how bad my…

I genuinely cannot believe how bad my experience with Eufy has been.

I bought a BRAND NEW Eufy robot vacuum/mop, and from day one it leaked water everywhere and could not properly wash the mop. After contacting support, they made me:

* Dry the entire robot and base station
* Repack every single component
* Drive to FedEx and ship it back

After waiting over a week, Eufy sent me a “replacement.”

The replacement was one of the dirtiest electronics products I have ever received in my life.

I am not exaggerating:

* It was clearly USED from someone else’s household
* It smelled bad
* It had hair stuck in it
* It had water marks and dirt all over the base
* It looked heavily used

And despite sending me a disgusting used replacement for my BRAND NEW product… IT DIDN’T EVEN WORK.

That is the craziest part to me. They didn’t even bother testing the replacement before shipping it out.

So instead of wasting more time with support, I bought another unit through Amazon.

Broken. Same exact issue.

Bought another one.

Broken again.

Bought ANOTHER one.

That one finally worked — except it ALSO arrived used and had a broken soap container cap.

After going through multiple robots, I actually discovered the issue myself:
There is a rubber water valve underneath the tank that becomes unglued. Once that happens, the water that is supposed to clean the mop leaks out through the middle of the station and spills everywhere. The robot then stops being able to mop properly.

So after all this:

* Multiple defective robots
* Hours wasted unpacking, testing, drying, repacking, and returning products
* Being sent a disgusting used replacement
* Repeated failures of the exact same component

Eufy’s solution was:

1. Offer me 30% back to keep a broken robot
OR
2. Make me package and ship the robot AGAIN just to get my own refund

And the funniest part? They acted like offering a refund through Amazon was some special solution. I could already do that myself at any time. That’s literally just Amazon’s normal return policy.

Now here’s the important part:

I’m not some random person who bought one Eufy product and got upset.

I am DEEP into the Eufy ecosystem.

I have:

* Multiple Eufy cameras around my house
* Solar panels for the cameras
* Their base station
* Their display system to monitor cameras
* Their smart door lock

I’ve spent roughly $2,000–$3,000 with this company.

And honestly? If I could go back, I would NEVER buy into this ecosystem again.

Everything is painfully slow.

The cameras take 10–20 seconds to open on the phone. By the time the app finally loads, the person at the door is often already gone. If someone rings my doorbell and I don’t instantly grab my phone and open the app immediately, the delay is so bad that the interaction is basically over before I can even speak.

I don’t care how “encrypted” the system is if the real-world experience is terrible. I would rather have a camera system that actually responds instantly than one that makes me wait forever just to view a live feed.

The ONLY good thing I can say about Eufy cameras is that the microphone and speaker quality are decent.

But what is the point of good audio if the camera system itself is slow and unreliable?

I previously owned Wyze cameras before switching to Eufy, and honestly, those cheaper cameras worked better in day-to-day use.

At this point I do not recommend:

* Their robot vacuums
* Their camera systems
* Their ecosystem in general

You want a good robot vacuum? Buy Dreametech/Dreame.

You want a security system? Buy almost anything else.

This company tries so hard to make EVERYTHING that they end up not even making the ONE thing they were originally known for — security systems — work properly.

One of the worst tech ecosystems I’ve ever invested in.

I purchased a eufy Security Video…

I purchased a eufy Security Video Doorbell S330 (Battery-Powered) with Home Base 2 from Amazon.
Product was received and it did not include an Australian compatible power adapter for the homebase able to be plugged in to an Australian power point. Apparently this is a very common problem with this brand. The total package cost $390 making it very expensive in comparison to other brands in the market, a compatible power adapter is not much asking. Item was returned 5 minutes after unpacking.

Weirdest Support Experience I’ve Ever Had

My SoloCam S340 started failing as a home security camera: motion detection/tracking became unreliable, and Alexa announcements stopped working. I contacted eufy to ask if this was a known reliability issue, not to demand a warranty replacement.

The support process was honestly the strangest I’ve ever experienced. I was repeatedly asked for private logs and screen recordings from my home security camera after I clearly declined. They gave unclear refund/discount language, offered discounts without actually providing usable details, sent a non-comparable S220 replacement that does not match the S340’s pan/tilt/tracking use case, and then offered a “30% discount” that was only about $24 better than the public sale price.

The emails also became bizarre and over-the-top, including dramatic language about being “heartbroken” to lose my trust, while still not offering a meaningful resolution. It felt like AI/template apology language rather than real support.

After this, I do not trust eufy for home security and would not buy from them again.

eufy X10 Pro Omni Robot Vacuum Cleaner…

eufy X10 Pro Omni Robot Vacuum Cleaner with mop
I bought a robot vacuum cleaner in 2025 (July). Its supposed to map and work properly using an app on the phone.
Issues:
1. Map is not working properly- its incorrect, robot keeps bumping into wall, remapping did not help and got even worse.
2. Mess with the serial numbers and linking between the app and the vacuum. Its showing me the wrong device.
3. Previous account completely deleted the device and I cannot login using the new app.

Customer service:
1. None of the issues were addressed, offered solution is useless.
2. Do not have a common courtesy.
3. Interaction is very slow and difficult from the customer's point of view. 4. Customer service does not seem to be very understanding and not trained enough to provide solution THAT WORKS(!). Basically seems incompetent.

Not happy with the product and the customer service.
Suggest to avoid.

I am honestly just too disgusted to write a long detailed poor review for this once great company that has done a 180 to the worst after the sale technical customer service of all of the companies that sell security camera systems. I have never been so frustrated with the inability of this company to help me fix multiple problems with my cameras, their ability to alert me on my phone and other problems.
