Untrustworthy

Untrustworthy, that's all I have to say about them. When they shadow ban people arbitrarily because they don't like what they are saying, then this undermines the whole credibility of their platform.

🚨 SCAM ALERT

🚨 SCAM ALERT — BE CAREFUL WITH THESE FACEBOOK MESSAGES! 🚨

There is a scam going around where people are receiving messages claiming that their Facebook account has been suspended because of “account integrity” or a violation of Community Standards.

The message says you have 180 days to appeal or your account will be permanently disabled.

⚠️ DO NOT CLICK THE LINK.
⚠️ DO NOT ENTER YOUR FACEBOOK LOGIN INFORMATION.
⚠️ DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PASSWORD, verification code, or other account information.

The goal is to trick you into entering your Facebook login information so scammers can take over your account.

If you receive a message like this, do not panic and do not use the link provided in the message. Instead, open Facebook directly through the official app or website and check your account status there.

Please share this warning with your friends and family. Someone could easily fall for this scam because the message is designed to look official.

Protect your account. Don’t click. Don’t log in through the link. 🚫🔐

Clear Againdows, Hereford This company is not at all professional…

In my opinion, this company is not at all professional and their communications were very poor. I placed an order in July 2025 for some remedial work on my extension. In August 2026 the work had still not been completed. This was due to the fact that the item required was obsolete. I had been telephoning them regularly and repeatedly during the intervening months. Why did they not tell me this before? Why did they not offer an alternative? As you can imagine this caused me considerable anxiety and stress. I have now arranged for the work to be completed by another company. I must add that the incomplete work was not included in the final invoice.

I'm in a weight loss group but the admin left. everyone likes this group but we have constant posts with pictures of food and then in the comments is a link to the recipe on a website. The links are scam/spam posts containing virus.

farming bots are constantly posting and people constantly report them as spam yet Facebook allows the same posts and links to be reposted by other bots.
you need to ban the links completely to stop these scamming bots

Zero Human Support — Trapped in Facebook Marketplace Verification Loop

Meta's Marketplace automated security system has created an inescapable account lockout. The platform demands identity verification to post listings, but rejects valid government IDs because the account display name doesn't match. Settings actively block updating display names ("You can't update your name..."), and all internal support/appeal pathways throw systemic errors like "Error sending message" or "There was a problem submitting your contact request". There is ZERO human customer service or escalation path to fix platform-level bugs. Completely broken for peer-to-peer sellers.

Refuses to accept my social contract correct password as an answer, treats adults like children

What has gone wrong is what some companies are labeling "security" but is instead an intrusive, defective "feature" they have foisted on users. I am talking about NOT ACCEPTING MY PASSWORD. I have a username, I have a a correct password, it should let me in. I have not enabled 2FA and never will. Yet, it will continue to prompt me for 2FA access via FB app on other device, without my consent. I consider this asinine and patently unacceptable. In a user hostile way, there is way to disable this "feature". My settings show 2fa IS NOT ENABLED, yet I continue to get device challenged. Patently stupid is what I would call this.

"You can't make this change at the moment
This is because we noticed you are using a device you don't usually use and we need to keep your account safe.

We'll allow you to make this change after you've used this device for a while."

I am the administrator of my account, Facebook, not you. Get off of your high horse.

BOYCOTT THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE.

THIS IS, HANDS-DOWN THE MOST CROOKED, SCAMMER-FILLED WEBSITE ON THE INTERNET.

Having been on the net for well over 30 years I am disgusted that a man that obviously doesn't have any morals, allows various scum balls to post pictures and videos of women showing their naked bodies to virtually every child in the WORLD who has access to the Internet, INCLUDING his own two young daughters!!!

And if that isn't bad enough, remember the FACT that Zuckerburg's wife is a licensed pediatrician who works with CHILDREN in he own hospital in San Francisco!!!

What has been going on at Facebook for at least the past 15 years id clear evidence that Zuckerburg has a. "direct" connection to several politicians, ou ut legislators would create a law to take Facebook off the market!

But the reason. I'm HERE is to bring your attention to the FACT that, because the whole website is run by bots (algorithms) and NOT people,, if you call a hooker a hooker or a scammer a scammer on Facebook, Zuckerburg's algorithms will block YOU and allow the bad guys to proliferate on his website!

I am obviously not afraid of Zuckerburg and I will persist in attempting to get politicians to do the right thing, but as you already know, that's impossible when flow of money is greater than the flow of FACTS!!!

Facebook is terrible if you want to…

Facebook is terrible if you want to sell items which affects buyers too. The whole company is run by ai and it must be the cheapest Ai possible because it gets nothing correct. You can list an ad for 6 months, then make one small change like color option and the morons reject ad because Ai doesn't like color red or something. They offer zero support of any kind. Then they freeze people's account so you can't use it meaning you get punished for their incompetent behavior. I can't wait for another company to be created so I never have to use Facebook again!

Awful pressure to join as soon as you attempt to read an article

Awful pressure to join as soon as you access a possibly useful discussion or article, join or you cannot read this for more than 30 seconds. I used to be a facebook member and got fed up with the constant bombardment of horrible, pushy ads and really dross articles. Some people have nothing better to do than photo their breakfast and then put this on the platform! Finally drove me nearly mad so I had to leave to save my sanity.

I am writing tDeeply frustrated by the forced publicity and lack of privacy controls on Desktophis review to express my…

I am writing this review to express my absolute frustration and disappointment with the current Facebook desktop interface. It is completely unacceptable that a major tech company like Meta is actively stripping away basic privacy controls from its users.Recently, when attempting to update my cover photo, I discovered that the option to uncheck "Share to News Feed" has been completely removed from the desktop version. Facebook now forces a public broadcast of this personal update onto my friends' timelines without my consent. To make matters worse, once the post is created, the system completely restricts users from changing its privacy settings to "Only Me" or deleting it entirely. The only available option is to "Hide from profile," which is thoroughly useless because the post still circulates on the News Feed for others to see. This is a severe regression in user experience. Forcing individuals to publicize their personal profile adjustments without any quiet alternative is incredibly intrusive and disrespectful. Why must an individual be denied the right to quietly update their profile aesthetic? I urge the development team to fix this ridiculous restriction immediately and restore the fundamental freedom of privacy management. Extremely disappointed!

Facebook allows harmful content regarding young children on their site, this kind of content should be removed so why is the platform allowing this and saying its ok for their site, what is seen as harmful content because reports of this content is not being removed.

Reported child abuse material, no action.

Reported child abuse material, a guy taking images of people and their kids who disagreed on a post and mocked them awfully, distributing images of people’s children against their will and with malice. Facebook did nothing. Somebody said “smoking the cocaine” to which I facetiously said “smoking that cocaine” back to them and I got a suspension.

The message is clear, meta and Facebook are okay with child abused material, but not the word cocaine in a joke.

Facebook customer service is HORRIBLE

Facebook customer service is HORRIBLE. My account was deactivated for no reason and then there were technical issues verifying my identity so my appeal was denied. I made a new account and now the same thing is happening and they only have META AI customer support. Are you all that cheap that you can't give human beings jobs to fix issues?
