Fortnite beating a dead horse

Fortnite Review – 1/10 (Used to be our thing, now it’s straight-up dead to me)
I used to love this game. Not even gonna lie. My girlfriend and I would fire up split-screen on the console every single night, laughing our asses off, dropping hot, clutching up together, the whole vibe. It was our go-to couple activity — zero lag between us, same screen, same controller, pure chaos and fun.
Now? It’s a complete joke.
They’ve butchered split-screen so hard it feels like Epic personally reached through my TV and flipped me off. The feature that used to just WORK is now either straight-up gone, locked behind some dumb settings menu that doesn’t even save, or it runs so bad it’s literally unplayable. Frame drops, input lag, one of you gets kicked to the lobby while the other is still loading in… it’s embarrassing.
My girlfriend doesn’t even want to play anymore. She just sighs and says “never mind” every time I suggest it. That’s how bad it got. The game that brought us together on the couch now just reminds us both how much Epic doesn’t give a single damn about console players who actually want to play together in the same room.
Fortnite used to be the one game we could count on for easy, stupid fun. Now it’s just another reminder that big updates and battle passes matter more to them than keeping the core experience alive for normal people.
I officially hate Fortnite now.
Delete the app. I’m done.
1/10 and that one point is only because the old memories were good.

👎👎👎👎

The game is just not fun anymore. Like you have to be a cave dweller to even be decent at it anymore. I also just got a text chat ban but epic doesn’t provide any additional information into what you said to receive the ban besides “text chat violation” and then when you try to get additional information the employees don’t have access to it and just tell you to appeal it. If i deserved it then i deserved it but how can i dispute something if i don’t have any information on it? Can almost guarantee i didn’t since everything is considered bullying to them and they hand out bans like candy on Halloween

I love Fortnite but lets be fr.

I love Fortnite i have been playing for over 6 years but the rivalry thing has honestly upset me. First off there was the rigging for the foundation team which they still are doing. Makes no sense, why let players pick teams if you are then going to put out boost for one team and yea they gave both teams boosts but foundation has received way more boost opportunities. "Foundation has less players" okay well then they shouldn't have made it to where players pick their own team. Then today they added another power hour with boosts for only foundation team... like why? And can we stop having matches where every single player is given a sniper that explodes. Players just start to camp with that sniper and it is annoying. Loading in with guns should not be part of regular battle royal matches, it is just ridiculous. Fortnite seems so desperate for new players that they are gonna end up losing their existing players

Useless game. No longer any fun.

Epic games needs to pull their finger out their a** and fix the game. Lobbies full of sweats and cheaters has made the game an absolute joke. None of it is fun anymore and nothings ever done to fix it.

The game needs a better ranking system, you get put into lobbies where people can one pump you from what feels like across the map while moving at a million kilometres per hour.

Its glitchy and laggy even on a 2Gbps internet plan with fibre to the premise wifi and a $5,000 gaming pc. The main people behind epic only care about money and thats all.

Game went to sh*t after season 5.

Cheaters ruin games

This game has become completely unplayable. Ever since they unbanned all those cheaters and hackers, no one can play a fun game. All it is is running away from people for 25 minutes who have aim bot on you and some how teleport to where you are before you get there. This game isn’t getting any more of my time or money. It’s a shame because this used to be a fun game. Now it’s just stressful and rage building.

What a joke!

Fortnite is officially cooked. It’s no longer a game; it’s a digital landfill where original ideas go to die. You’ve 'copped' every single mechanic from Call of Duty except for the part where the game is actually fun to play.
Between the 'Omnimovement' that feels like a glitchy mess, projectile-bullet mechanics that ruined the gunplay, and a 'Reload' mode that is a straight-up, shameless Resurgence clone, the identity crisis is terminal. If I wanted to play Warzone, I’d load up Warzone. I don't need a Great Value version of it with a cartoon filter and a 1.6-star UI that looks like a budget streaming service.
You’ve stripped away everything that made this game unique just to chase a player base that already left for actual tactical shooters. Instead of fixing the game, you’re too busy turning it into a bloated, 100GB advertisement for skins nobody asked for. This isn't 'evolving'—it's selling out. The game.

I purchased one game from Epic for my son's laptop. We were unable to use the launcher despite numerous attempts to fix it including multiple emails to tech support. After 6 plus hours of trouble shooting, I asked for a refund to which they said they could not issue one as we exceeded the two hours of play time despite having never played the game. I would not recommend and will never purchase anything from them again.

I'm freaking hate epic games

I'm freaking hate epic games. They wanna go out here and advertise all these different things. For kids to play, but when they account get hacked, there's no one to talk to. There's no phone numbers. It's a billionaire company and you can't get a phone number. This is pathetic, you have thieves. You can't even protect the people that are playing this system. It's just you pathetic they have no problem, taking your money for the game.So but they can't afford anybody to actually answer the phones
