We are a group of 15 people who booked a trip from Copenhagen to Hurghada, Egypt with TUI. Only 15 days before departure, we received a message informing us that parts of the hotel – including the restaurant and pool – will be closed due to renovations, and that there will be disturbing construction noise during our stay.
As “compensation,” TUI offered a 5% discount, which equals about 380 SEK per person. That’s an insult to customers who have planned and paid for a full holiday in good faith. When we contacted customer service to discuss options – such as changing hotels or receiving a more reasonable compensation – we were met with zero understanding and no willingness to help.
For such a large and established travel company, TUI’s lack of accountability and poor customer care is completely unacceptable. We expected far more professionalism, especially given the size of our group and the amount of money spent.
Do better, TUI! We will think twice before ever booking with you again – and we strongly advise others to do the same.

Do not use – not friendly to English speakers
Do not use this company to book travel if you are an international and don’t speak Swedish. I needed my hotel booking confirmation in English in order to apply for a Visa, and they were unable to provide it to me. The customer service representative even went as far to tell me that it is a Swedish company so all the documents are in Swedish. Very unprofessional – and for quite a simple request to have confirmation documents in English in order to apply for a visa.

Very Disappointed with TUI Sverige Customer Service
I had a very disappointing experience with TUI Sweden’s customer service. Every time I tried to contact them, I either waited on hold for a very long time or received unhelpful answers. The staff seemed uninterested in solving my problem and often gave conflicting information. Even when I emailed them, the responses were slow and generic, without addressing my actual concerns. I expected much better support from a company of this size. I will think twice before booking with TUI Sweden again.

We paid for a late checkout but a very rude and angry lady told us we had to leave the room at 10 am and go down to the reception and stay in the loooooong line to get a new room in the very hot hall. My children got mad because of this and we decided to leave (and hopefully never come back!!).
We strongly advise against buying a late check out at this hotel and also at TUI because TUI replied that throwing us out of the room at 10 am after have paid late-check-out and staying in a long queue afterwards to get a new late check-out room is TUI standard policy! I have a written reply from TUI!
I have paid dozens and dozens of times late check-out in my life and never experienced something like this.
The hotel was very expensive but breakfast was not included and after we paid extra for breakfast we found out that we paid for 4 adults instead for 2 adults and 2 kids. Only cash they said because the casher was not working they said. And put the money directly in the cash without any receipt.
After complaining we got only 1 refund. Low quality food and very expensive. We strongly advise against eating breakfast there. Of course we didn't come back there after this 1. Bad experience.
3. The hotel at the end of Maj was already very crowded, chaotic and disorganized with unfriendly stuff. What will happen there in July and August??
No ownership
Me and my family booked a trip to Sri Lanka more than 9 month ahead and specifically chose our flights to have a better transfer time with our young children. Unfortunately we got rebooked 24h before our trip because overbooking on the first flight so we had to spend 9h during the night in the transfer airport with 2 dead tired kids and also missed 1 full day on our location. We tried contact TUI before our trip but they were not able to assist in anyway just refering to Qatar Airways. Their customer service told us they would help with some small compensation upon our return home but once we contacted their customer service again they declined any form of compensation and just refered to the flight company instead of taking ownership.
We previously had good experience with TUI before but it just show when you finally have isues there is no added value of booking with TUI compared to just book yourself.

Me and my family booked a three room + Kitchen apartment at Hotel Livanina for the specific reason that we wanted some extra space, so that it wouldn't feel cramped & instead comfortable.
We arrive at Hotel Livanina and for some odd reason get assigned a room with 2 rooms with kitchen that look NOTHING at all like the pictures that were provided in the details of the room.
We contacted the travel agent and requested compensation for the falsely-advertised room upon which the agent forwarded us to TUI support team who followed up to tell us "Too bad, you should've read the description of the room more carefully" even though the pictures of the room don't even match the room we got.
We spoke to Livanina about this matter but to little avail since her English is not very good and she said (from what we could piece together) "We only have 2 room + kitchens available"
The only thing me and my family can deduce from the situation is that TUI is exploiting the fact that the landlord is unable to speak good english and thusly is taking advantage of both HER and their renting customers in order to earn more money per sold trip for rooms that literaly do not exist within the premises.
The liability here lies on TUI who as a multi-million dollar company should take action and have a fluent speaking Greek-to-English translator present when the terms and conditions are negotiated with the landlord: which they have failed to do.
TUI your company and your employees are the most dreaded disgusting creatures on this earth to prey on NOT ONLY us, but also the residents of a country who TO A GREAT DEAL relies on the income from tourism in order to be able to sustain a living and survive in this world.
Me and my family will never travel using your services ever again and I will ensure this review is seen far and wide on every social media platform out there.

- food: yes, tons of stuff, but most quite poor, the baklava tastes nothing, many things are just super-sweet.
- wifi is 1 Mbit / s, they might as well put a modem in the rooms.
We booked through TUI
We booked through TUI, flight with TAP to Madeira at a nice resort. The flight was fine. We had booked private transfer to the hotel. The driver took us to the wrong hotel at 01.00 o clock in the morning. We had to pay for a taxi. TUI deny us refund for a service not rendered, and no compensation for the taxi ride. What is more and even worse is that customer service and Complaints have harrassed me for 2 days because of their error. They've forced the poor confused driver to reimburse the taxiride personally which I declined because as a customer you have an agreement with TUI, not the driver.
TUI is very unprofessional and unserious. I will not ever travel with TUI again.

Could I give “0” stars I would! The worst vacation and service ever! We booked a family vacation to Gran Canarie, 12-19 July. Paid for 5 persons, and specificed 2 adults, 3 children. Choose all-inclusive and paid for exclusive transfer as well. We got two appartments upon arrival, located 100mtr. Appart! No-one from TUI onsite , or remote. Bothered to assist, help or in anyway provided any service! We even proposed paying for an upgrade, for us to be together. No service at all! Worst Company ever! Once you paid, they dont care about you.

The hotel was called “BLUE FLAMINGO BEACH“.It was supposed to be a 4 star hotel.
The room had mold and it was in a very poor condition.
We had to pay an extra to upgrade our room.We were lucky that they had an available room.
However even with an upgrade, it was not a 4 star hotel!
And yes, I contacted with your staff. But they did not help me at all!

Since there is no 0 Star rating, I need to give them atleast 1 star. I had a terrible experience yet again with Tui.se. For my anniversary, I made a last minute deal of 12K SEK to tui blue log gigantis in canary island after a lot of effort in finding a good deal and paid it through revolute at 10.18AM , Money got instantly deducted and I got the confirmation of booking from tui and we added this booking in my tui app. I applied for leaves and we did all the preparation whole day. At night suddenly I saw that the confirmation is disappeared. And when I checked my mail, i saw there is a cancellation of booking mail from tui which came around 2.30PM and we kept on receiving messages in my mobile that please be ready and prepared for your trip. I saw my revolut app and the payment status was 'merchant needs to claim the payment'.
So Basically tui cancelled my booking without giving any information whosoever in messages. I then called customer care next morning and as always there reply was we cant do anything, please find another booking. Tui customer care of sweden is the worst in the world with no resolution to any issue. I asked them to offer a deal or atleast match a price but There intention was to try and find if its a customer fault so that they need not to worry about anything.

The case sat at Charles De Gaulle Paris from 1st Jan until the 7th again with me constantly sending TUI information of where it was T2E. My daughter returned home on the 3rd and got in touch with our booking shop in Denton, they gave her an emergency number for me to give the reps to ring, apparently they can only make local calls. I can understand that my phone contract was already treble the monthly contract. I spoke to the manager for Tui at resort a lovely young girl, but also struggling to get anywhere. She explained that they usually send the luggage on to Lisbon Portugal, but CDG don’t have any direct flights, and actually no TUI flights. In resort we had booked a swim up pool, very nice for the first 5 days, we then noticed that one of the robes they supplied was badly ripped at the neck, and the bed linen fitted was ripped on the turn back, so very obvious, the next morning, instead of it being replaced was remade for the next evening. A new pair of guests were moved in next to us, unfortunately heavy smokers, and we were smoked out. I asked at reception about the smoking policy they said no smoking. The next day we came back to our room and I told them it was a no smoking area, they said they had been given ashtrays. I went to reception and asked them to explain, they said I had been given mis information. I asked why I wasn’t asked at check in if I was a non smoker and placed accordingly, they can’t do that they have 2000 guests. I asked for a refund as the facility I had booked was now not usable, they said I have to speak to TUI, they said I could be moved but they didn’t know if I would still be next to heavy smokers. After a discussion with the reps it was unlikely that the case would get to us, as it couldn’t be guaranteed that it wouldn’t do astray again on another carrier. On 7th Jan the case left CDG on a Cathay Pacific plane and landed in Barcelona T1. On the 8th Jan the case landed back in Manchester at T3 at 2pm on an Iberia plane to wait for me to collect it on my return on 10th. On the plane home I read a statement in the Tui inflight literature about their partnership with Trust Pilot, so I thought I would add my review. In 48 years travelling with many airlines some with awful reputations such as Dan Air etc., I have never had an experience like this, I categorically say that I will never give Tui another penny of my money, even if they are the only company servicing some resorts.

First airlines in the world without a customer support!
48 hours before the flight we tried to do the check in online only to find out that there was a fault in their online services. Then we tried over and over for 2 days to contact the customer service via phone or online chat. To my surprise they closed down all their customer service due to "too many people contacting them". So no customer support (not exaggerating). After travelling frequently for 10 years, I think I just found the worst airlines in the world.

you should be careful before booking with Tui, yesterday 20.08.2021 was our flight from Gothenburg to Rhodos my wife and I booked full package flight, hotel and half board we payed 1350 Euro, in our way to the airport we had a car accident So we took a taxi and arrive to the airport late before 40 minutes from the departure time. we didn't find any Tui staff in the desk we asked the airport information they called some staff from Tui and he said No we will not allow them to check in they are late we told them it's an accident they said even though, we called Tui call center to see what souluation they have and they said we can't do anything and you lose the full amount and of course they gave the birocratic answer (This is The Law),So if you work 11 month and waiting for your vacation TUI might spoil it,even if you buy insurance from them that will not cover any emergency situation

I rang it 5 minutes ago and yes you've guessed it...you now get an automated message saying "this number is now closed"
Confirmation that Tui are doing everything possible to stop customers speaking to them and getting their money back
Luckily I only stand to lose my deposit which whilst not nice it's not the end of world for me
I will be travelling with Jet2 in future...a company that treats customers fairly and not the disgusting company Tui
