The technician was on the property for…

The technician was on the property for less than 10 minutes. After inspection we found spider web full of eggs, wasp nest and spiders in the back patio area. I gave Aptive Pest Control a second chance and they failed again.

Aptive Pest Contol is a great company

Aptive Pest Contol is a great company. I have had them do my pest control for the past 5 years and I am very pleased with the results. They helped me get rid of a destructive yellow jacket bee's nest and other pests in my yard and home. Even though they schedule my appointments every 3 months; I can change it whenever I need to on the internet or simply by calling them. If I notice something I need their help on after a treatment has been given, I can contact them and they will come to fix it with no charge. I trust their knowledge and professionalism.

Communication is always top notch!

Positive experience canceling my service

I signed up for service from a door-to-door salesperson. They were professional, and courteous. They weren't pushy - they were just good at sales and doing their job. I later reconsidered and canceled my services within the three-day right of rescission period. Aptive representatives were professional, courteous, and did not in any way prevent me from canceling service. I felt compelled to write a review, because while some may not like door-to-door sales approach, Aptive was courteous and transparent in their interactions. I interacted with a salesperson, a technician, and customer service.

Safe for pets?

First of all, they ignored our no trespassing signs while soliciting in our neighborhood uninvited. Do not believe them when they say their chemicals are harmless. Shortly after the first treatment, one of my dogs bled from his nose and had a seizure and died. He was going to be 12 on Christmas and was jumping on beds without any problems. Shortly after that my 6 year old best friend alerted me to a rabbit in the process of dying, along with 5 dying baby mice. Shortly after that, her face swelled up and her kidneys failed. I know I cannot prove it but the symptoms are similar to chemicals that would make mice bleed to death. I saw an unlabeled jug in the back of the person who applied the chemicals marker with a marker "NIPAN". What unmarked chemicals was he using and why did my perfectly healthy dogs died shortly after Aptive sprayed? They put the bait box in the yard by the dogs but said it was safe. Was it? Could the dogs have batted the box around? They don't even care that they may have been the cause of my dogs death. I would love for someone to test the dead rabbit I have saved or maybe even my poor boy. My poor girl had to be ethanized and these people don't even care. Was it a coincidence. Like I said, I have never had dead rabbits in 17 years and my dogs were healthy before they came uninvited. I sincerely hope people do not hire these monsters (in my opinion of course) because sadly I do not have the resources to do the proper testing that perhaps would show maybe they are responsible for my precious dogs death. Please protect your pets and I suggest you not use these people. They have no conscience.
