Purchased a brand new HJC F71 helmet, which is supposedly one spec lower than race quality. Immediately after unboxing and attempting to swap the clear visor, the plastic visor base plates jammed and later snapped. Shocking quality.
Tried all the flagship brands and the rpha range are up with the best,the vents actually work and now on my third purchase with this brand,done over 50 thousand miles commuting with one and all holding up well.
Only thing if used in winter is a pinlock to stop misting,At 1350 grams weight, a pleasure to wear after 4 hours riding.
They come up smaller ,so a size larger is recommended.
Their visors cracking is all over social media, so they clearly know they have a problem but they try and blame visor cleaners and void a replacement under warrent 🤬. Never heard such a terrible excuse in my 20 odd years of riding bikes

Bought the HJC RPHA 70 from the local bike shop.
Was impressed by quality feel and features. Has proved comfortable after 6/7 hours continuous wear, but first time out in cold damp weather and it mists up all the time. swapped the non genuine pin lock for a genuine Pinlock and no better. Manufacturer nor supplier interested. Want photographic proof. How can you take a selfie when riding a 1200cc machine?
The helmet fit great. It looks good and there weren't any problems wearing the helmet all day long.
