I am extremely disappointed with my experience dealing with Hollard following a motor vehicle accident on 8 April 2026
After being rear-ended by a driver insured through Hollard, I submitted all requested documentation promptly and ensured that every requirement was met. There were no outstanding documents, no missing information, and no delays from my side.
Think twice before choosing Hollard Insurance.
Today is 1 June 2026, nearly two months later, and I am still without resolution. My vehicle has not been repaired, I have not been compensated for the damages, and obtaining any meaningful update has been nearly impossible.
Emails are either ignored or go unanswered for extended periods, and phone calls result in no clear progress or accountability. Every interaction seems to end with promises of feedback that never materialises.
What is most frustrating is not just the delay itself, but the complete lack of communication and transparency. If there is a problem, customers deserve to know what it is. If there is a delay, customers deserve an explanation and a realistic timeline. Being left in the dark for weeks at a time is unacceptable.
Insurance exists to provide peace of mind when things go wrong. Unfortunately, my experience with Hollard has been the exact opposite. Instead of assistance during a stressful situation, I have faced silence, uncertainty, and ongoing delays.
Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering Hollard to carefully evaluate whether this is the level of service they would be willing to accept when they need support most.
