The walking boots are sturdy and okay
The walking boots are sturdy and okay, but they could have done with being more comfortable around the soles with more cushioning like my hoka trainers and fully waterproof like my leather boots. I walked the west highland way in them, but had to swap them out after 6/7 miles with my trainers because they became uncomfortable (I had wore them most days prior to the walk to break them in) and leaked in water. I ended up walking with wet feet for most of the days. The walking trail shoes were not waterproof at all and the minute it rained my feet became wet. The toe box in the shoes wasn’t long enough and my toes bashed in during downhill terrain - ending up with black and bruised toenails! I was hoping these would replace the waterproofness of my old leather walking boots and the comfort of my hoka trainers, but they didn’t. They did for around 5 miles. Disappointed because I won’t be able to return them due to having walked over 100 miles in them and needed to keep them as part of my kit due to the remoteness of my walks. Lots of money spent on kit that doesn’t do as advertised.

Shoes are great, returns not as much
The shoes themselves are great. My issue is having to pay to return when the 1st order didn't fit. INOV8 is no longer a small operation, returning shoes that don’t fit should not be a charge that the customer has to pay, I expected better of this company.
