A nightmare experience.
Very unorganized. Every time I called there was new person. They Never asked any questions -so then they just categorized items in any category-causing accounts to be in wrong categories.
They then charged me $800 extra for them to correct things they should have asked about (then just out in any account). Then my taxes were all wrong. John said he would correct. He never did. They didn’t follow thru. My payroll W2 s were wrong. He said he would correct. Never did!
I have emails to substantiate what I am saying. I think other reviews are friends. Or simple accounts. I did read another review similar to mine. I should have listened!
They are terrible at calling back. John is very condescending.
One call there was a rooster crowing in background to someone in India.
They are not what you think. Unless you want to do your own books anyway- save yourself. My New accountant couldn’t believe how bad things were done. And i had paid for this!! It is All automated so what is the point? They could at least follow up with questions. When I pointed out the mis categorization They lied and said “don't worry- we will help you”. Took my money- and I am still fixing things- months later finding things!
The manager Stephanie even admitted they handled my account wrong and said I shouldn’t have to pay for their mistakes.
They took me for money they didn’t deserve and caused more grief. They expect you to do the work while they take your money. I have no idea what they did for the money they charged They did NOTHING!!! Then wanted me to fix it and pay them for me to go thru everything! I had no idea how to correct the mess. Uh- hello- this is why you were hired!
Run. Their are legit bookkeepers And accountants. John snowed me and took the money. I NEVER received training...never! I ASKED how can I help with this and they said we will take care of it. TOOK MY MONEY and then said we were not a good fit. I ONLY called 2-3 times a week after asking for corrections to the account. They had too many people coming and going. Nobody knows what anyone is doing there. I HAD ZERO training...and why would I need trained?? Isn't that why they were hired?

Regrettably some clients are not a good fit. One of the accounting platforms we support is QuickBooks Online. This client could not grasp, even after 40 hours of training over a six month period, the basic concepts of how to enter data. She was on the phone with our support two to three times daily asking how to perform a task even after the training. Her account required 100's of hours of clean up work which was only partially billed because she repeatedly claimed our accountants were making the mistakes, not her. We asked her to find another accounting firm in May and apparently she harbors some animosity as a result. It is interesting to note she still uses our payroll services.
