Avoid this place at all costs. This was without a doubt the worst hair salon experience I have ever had. The guy who cut my hair clearly had absolutely no idea what he was doing. I asked for a simple trim of my bangs, but instead he cut off half of my hair. My hair is now completely uneven and looks awful. It’s shocking that someone this incompetent is allowed to work as a hairdresser.

When I asked him what he was doing, he simply walked away and disappeared. I never saw him again. Not once did he apologize or even try to fix the damage he caused. That level of unprofessional behavior is unbelievable.

Now I look terrible and my entire vacation has been ruined because of this. This is beyond unacceptable for a business that claims to be professional. Something this embarrassing and damaging absolutely deserves compensation.

I strongly warn others: stay far away from this place.

Great experience at Jean Louis David in Złote Tarasy, Warsaw. The person who booked my appointment was super kind and quick. My hairdresser Kasia did an excellent job, very professional and attentive. She listened carefully and cut my hair exactly how I wanted. The result was fantastic. Highly recommend 😊

Rudest and most unpleasant staff I’ve ever met in any store.

White haired guy and elderly lady openly made fun of my girlfriends hair so every could laugh at her.

She was extremely uncomfortable and started crying - in what their response was to laugh ever harder.

The manager of Jean Louis David, who speaks English was very helpful and profesional. He made everything to offer the service to us, with the best service at the hotel room, last minute, in high season. Amazing, many many thanks 🙏🏻

Absolutely fantastic experience!
While visiting Florence as a tourist, I went on a shopping trip to the I Gigli shopping center—and that’s where I discovered this amazing hair salon. The staff were incredibly friendly, fair, and attentive. They were very clear and transparent about the pricing from the beginning, which I really appreciated. What impressed me the most was how well they listened to what I wanted and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire appointment. I’m super happy with the result and will definitely come back if I’m ever in the area again. Highly recommended! /Sara

This place ruined my hair. Honestly, Im going to another place to fix their mess, as my head looks like a ball.
Bare in mind i asked for a “hair curtain”
Ended up with a short hair style. I honestly don’t know why such a place would hire such incompetent people.

OMG !!! Complete rip off. Just went with my daughter to get blow drys in Chantilly France branch of JLD for a wedding . They did OK blow dries but we could Not believe the price. 33€ for blow dry + 18 € for conditioner and 8€ for mousse. They completely took advantage of us - very annoying

Attention!!!️ If you are in Padua and you need a hairdresser make sure you do not enter this salon. I came in with my glasses in the pocket of my jacket and when they gave me back the jacket they were gone. I asked the owner to investigate and I did not receive any support or even a response. I asked the owner to check the videos of the cameras but since the technician is always out of town it was never possible to see them.

This place completely ruined my hair.

I made an appointment for a balayage in the Poznan Plaza branch. When I arrived at the location I showed them a picture of exactly what I wanted. A light brown color balayage over my dark brown hair. The stylist simply bleached my entire hair 2 cm from the root which was done in an uneven way which looks completely unnatural. You can even see the square brush marks at slightly different heights in my hair. My hair was then colored GINGER RED. Note I have dark brown hair.... After the stylist was done, I complained and their excuse was that the person who did my hair did not know how to split it to do an actual balayage and offered to do dark brown highlights on the ginger red coloured hair and have this done by a "more experienced hairdresser" I am extremely offended and mad, as my entire hair is now bleached and 100% of my natural color is gone on 2 years of growth just because their "non experienced" employee did not know how to split my hair and took the decision to simply bleach it fully...

Awful and traumatic experience. I went to redo my highlights, I loved my blonde colour just It was long time since I have done my roots. I asked the hairdresser to make my colour pop up better with some dark lowlights and blondes ones she advice a very dark one and I say no.. she says it will look better like that, after she started to take big parts of my hair and just colouring them uniformly with no clue what she was doing. I told her to just take very thin part of hair to do the highlights but she continued even when her colleague told her she never saw a technique like that and it was very wierd. I ended up with my hair white and gray with dark and orange highlights , awful plus they kept me 8 hours in the shop to fix it in some way but they just cover it with a darker tone.at the end I was darker while I went there to look lighter. The other poor girl apprentice was left alone for hours with no break trying to fix the other woman mistakes.. for 4hours . Plus the cut was uneven they charged me for the colours they use to fix what they did, they just make it worse. At the end I was just frustrated and tired. Now I will have to spend 300euro to fix it at least.
I thought Jean Louis David makes sure just professional people are working there butIwas wrong

I was today in your salon in Porte dell Adige , Busollengo. I was surprised by the price , since I had extensions.. Which is the same as natural hair.. And i get to pay 25 e more for the shampoo that employees used. I have never in my life heard that you have to pay an extra money for the shampoo used due to blow dry! Shame on you, I was your customer 2x a week for blow dry , and everything else, it's nonsense that you make a fool of us !

J’ai fait le faux pas d’annonce que je suis anglaise, et je crois, parce que je suis anglaise, j’ai recevoir maltreatment. Ce coiffeur étais le pire expérience de ma vie. La femme étais très abrasive avec moi et mes cheveux. Un experience dégradant. J’ai dit que j’ai veut une coupe au carré avec PAS DÉGRADÉ et alors- elle a détruit mes cheveux totalement!!!!!! Mes cheveux ne sont pas de la même longueur. C’est humiliant. Elle a arraché mes cheveux, elle a regardé sur la fenêtre autant que prêter attention. Elle a brûlé ma tête avec le sèche-cheveux. Où est le respect? J’étais en despair après l’expérience. J’aie pleuré. Dégoûtant. J’étais trop timide de défendre moi-même, je regrette ça.

For any English folk DO NO GO HERE. I was taken advantage of. The lady was not concentrating she was staring out the window while holding an electric razor close to my head- while she was combing my hair she had the razor in the SAME hand as the comb and was so close to take chunks off my scalp. There were several times when there was a slight tangle, and she tried for LESS than a second to tease it out before completely razoring it off in impatience. Disgusting treatment of a customer. I am young and so I was totally intimidated and scared to speak up. The whole experience was PHYSICALLY PAINFUL. She pulled my hair so much I was in a state of distress holding onto the arm chairs and trying to calm myself down in my head by deep breathing. She burnt my scalp with the heat too high on the hairdryer. And there was no method to her madness- she was pulling my hair above my head and razoring it off with an electric razor. As a result my hair, which was down to my waist, is now above my shoulders and totally different lengths all over. There are gaps, it is the WORST haircut I have ever had or seen. I cried so much after the experience, being in a foreign country and having been so intimated out of speaking French and speaking up for myself. I cannot believe someone would treat me with this level of disrespect. Worst salon ever. In fact as I arrived, another lady was shouting with one of the hairdressers about an issue with her haircut too, I should have taken that as a warning sign.

Came in looking like my age 65 and left 15 years younger - with updated color and style! Convinced me to have bangs (fringe in Italian) again with my long hair, naturally light brown - highlighted and I look great!

Worst hair cut I have ever had. Despite explains and showing hairdresser what I wanted.
Hair colour was fine
Haircut looked as if it had been done by a child. I asked for a slightly angled bobwith a little body. The bottom of my hair at the back was up and down like a castle turret, no style. I asked for no mot than an 1” to be taken off but with the poor cut more had to be taken of and it still wasn’t straight,. My fringe was uneven with a large long bit in the middle.
Hairdresser became very agitated and annoyed, and constantly tried to justify a poor haircut. I was in the hairdressers for nearly 4 hrs. I was offered money of the haircut but still had to pay 100. And would then have to go to another hairdressers it was so bad. The attitude of the staff was patronising and they appeared to find it amusing. Not only has my holiday been ruined but I shall have to pay more money for the style to be repaired.
At no point was there any apology for a hairstyle that looked as if I had been dragged through a hedge ( uk saying)
I sent a photograph to my daughter who was disgusted

This is the best hairdressers I have been to in Italy!-the Jean Louis David in Firenze, Pina especially. They take great care in giving advice and a consultation for your specific hair type and what would suit you. Everyone there makes it a very pleasant and relaxing experience. My hair has never looked more natural or healthier!

Moreover, as I live in another region, Umbria, (an hour and a half away) I make a point of coming to Firenze and Pina for my haircut and colour!

Questo è il miglior parrucchiere in cui sono stato in Italia !, il Jean Louis David a Firenze, soprattutto Pina. Prendono molta cura nel dare consigli e una consulenza per il tipo di capelli specifico e cosa ti si addice. Tutti ci rendono un'esperienza molto piacevole e rilassante. I miei capelli non sono mai apparsi più naturali o più sani!

Inoltre, visto che vivo in un'altra regione, l'Umbria, (un'ora e mezza di distanza), mi prendo cura di venire a Firenze e Pina per i miei capelli e il mio colore!
