My experience at Kaplan Dublin was great because the learning environment felt safe and welcoming. I enjoyed going to the classes since they were composed of a variety of activities and left lots of room for individual questions. The staff is extremely kind and helpful and made it very easy to ask questions. It is a good place to get to know people too because the classes get you to talk to other students and the break room is very nice as well. Dublin overall is incredible so there are many great places to visit.

My recent review regarding the considerable fees Kaplan college charge for airport collection elicited the following response:

"after a long flight, we find that some students don’t want the hassle of finding a taxi and negotiating a fare (especially if they are not confident speaking English just yet). As a result, our price reflects the convenience of having a driver ready to transport them, regardless of any delays.⁶

Negotiating a fare is not necessary as taxi drivers are required, by law, to use a meter. Therefore, the fare is clearly displayed.

The response as to why the driver who collected my nephew insisted on an extra payment of €30, in CASH, allegedly to cover insurance costs was not addressed.

Kaplan merely responded with the following:

"Our price reflects the convenience of having a driver ready to transport them, regardless of any delays.⁶

Having a driver ready to transport them ....and add on an extra charge for"insurance purposes.......

Very convenient indeed....

My advice for anyone travelling to Kaplan, is arrange your own transport and save a considerable sum.

I have spent two weeks in Dublin with Kaplan and what can I say? It has been the best two weeks of this summer and I would have liked to stayed more. The residence was such a nice place with a lot of young people of other countries which I have spent an enjoyable time. My roommates Mary, Alvaro and Enzo couldn't be better so thanks for the nice time. And also thanks to Sara, a friend who I met on the weekend with an excursion that students organized for spent a nice day in Houth. I have laughs a lot with she but also with all the people with who I went. The teachers of the english course made the classes with so much enjoy and the time has passed so faster even in the classes! Thanks David for those lessons. And to not talk about the weekend activities! They have a lot of choices to pick up and I could say that Cliffs of Moher and Galway was such a fantasy. All in all, it has been such an experience that I would repeat it hundreds and hundreds of times. Thanks for everything.

The only thing I would complain about is the size of the main building and the fact that your online subscription is only available for the duration of your stay, but appart from this, everything was amazing !

Although for small time, it was the most interesting and beautiful experience I have ever done! Kaplan is a great way to meet friends, improve English and have fun!
