Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 135 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers reported significant dissatisfaction with product quality, noting that machines frequently stopped working or developed errors within months of purchase, often after minimal use. Reviewers consistently found customer service to be unhelpful and difficult to access, citing long hold times, dropped calls, and language barriers with offshore representatives. The warranty process was also a major source of frustration, with many feeling that the company did not stand behind its products or honor guarantees, especially for known issues or after descaling. However, some people found the coffee maker and K-pod functions to be good, appreciating the hot and flavorful coffee, as well as the wide selection of available coffees.

Buyer beware unless you have purchase…

Buyer beware unless you have purchase documentation, i.e. receipt or order conformation you have no warranty with Keurig. We are on our 3rd Keurig duo coffee maker in 2026. One lasted only a month... who knew Keurig was now an expensive disposable product.

Buy a different brand

Buy a different brand. Keurig “offers” support through Chat, email or calling… but they won’t help you via chat or email. Both of those tell you to call. Not everyone has time to call and be on hold or to be transferred around. I reached out because my K-iced will only brew 2 oz before stopping. Then I have to lift the top, select the size again and brew 2 more oz before shutting off again. This has been going on for months and I’ve only owned it since Nov 2025. I had ONE response out of 6 months mails saying “send me your s/n, date of purchase and where so I can assist”. I don’t know where that person went but everyone else has been less than helpful. At this point, I’m out $100 and will be buying a different brand. After owning 5 over the years, I was excited about this one and doing iced coffee but the machine and customer service say “f you”.

Shoddy products, inept customer service.

I have owned three Keurig machines - two purchased, the last one a gift. None of them ever lasted more than two years. The quality of these machines is only matched in poorness by their customer service. My latest product - the K22 single cup - lasted barely 18 months. Just one day it stopped working. I contacted Customer Service who told me they would replace it if I sent them the receipt. Of course I lost it and have no record that I can find of its purchase. That's fine, I'm not blaming them for that. But when I wrote them asking for a little consideration, this being my third failed product from them, they wrote back a generic email that not only rejected my request, but didn't review my information. I gave them my name and address - they wrote me saying "next time provide your name and address." I will never buy a Keurig again and if by some stroke of bad luck I'm gifted one, I will put it in the regift pile for my least favorite person at the office.

I purchased the Keurig Descaling…

I purchased the Keurig Descaling Solution and followed the instructions exactly as written. It directs the user to run 12 fresh water rinses to complete the process. After 5 rinses, the motor burned out on my Keurig. I called customer service and spoke with Nicole who informed me I was outside my warranty period. I explained this was not a warranty issue as this was higher than normal usage. She asked if I held 2 buttons down before descaling. I said no because it wasn't in the instructions. She said I should have watched the online video or called customer service before starting. I said if that was necessary, it should have been printed on the packaging. I figured if I purchased their solution to clean their product and followed their instructions, everything would be fine. She then said the instructions on the package were incorrect. I told her Keurig should recall this product and correct the instructions. Either way, I should not be held responsible for a situation caused by their company. She refused to connect me with a supervisor. She was more concerned about selling me a new coffee maker than making the situation right. Keurig has a lot to learn about customer service and I am completely dissatisfied with their product! As the saying goes, Caveat Emptor, Buyer Beware!

Keurig Nailed it!

In today's world customer service is highly and justifiably criticized, BUT Keurig nailed it this time! Cheap coffee maker worked ok until the the first descaling light could not be reset. Beyond warranty date, but Keurig replaced it ASAP since it was not an apparent problem earlier! Thank you!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

I bought a coffee maker, in good faith, from them last night. It has been less than 24 hours. Today the same machine is $30 less. I called and asked for a price adjustment. I have not received the coffee maker. it has not even left the warehouse. Customer service told me "NO". I said "no, you will not give me a price adjustment" and they said "NO". I said will you give me a return label so i can return the machine when it is received, "NO"..... I want nothing to do with a company that does not know how to treat or talk to their customers.

Shipping Unreliable

I ordered a coffee maker from Keurig rather than ordering on Amazon, as I like to give companies direct business without the middleman. When I made the purchase, it said it would ship the next day, I would receive a shipping confirmation and I would receive it in 3 to 7 days. I never received a shipping confirmation and called and spoke to someone who could not understand me. Finally, she told me the item had shipped two days later than originally promised, although I never received shipping confirmation. This is why people use Amazon, and I guess I have learned my lesson.

HUGE WASTE OF $$ ON KEURIG

I have owned multiple Keurig machines over the years and have spent hundreds of dollars on this brand. Unfortunately, my experience has been consistently disappointing.

My latest purchase was a K-Slim coffee maker that stopped working completely after approximately one month of use. The machine is completely dead—not a single light comes on. This is not an isolated issue. I have experienced repeated problems with previous Keurig machines, including ongoing issues with the descale function that often fails to reset properly even when using the recommended Keurig descaling solution.

To make matters worse, my recent experience with customer service was extremely frustrating. When I called for assistance regarding my K-Slim, the representative seemed to be reading from a script and was not addressing the actual problem I was describing. I repeatedly explained that the machine was completely dead, yet the responses did not appear relevant to my situation. Communication was difficult, and I left the call feeling that my concerns had not been heard or understood. She read from a script and kept talking without listening to my explanation. I have two inoperable Keurig machines sitting here on my kitchen floor—a big waste of money!

After years of purchasing Keurig products, I expected better quality and better customer support. A coffee maker should last significantly longer than one month, and customers should receive meaningful assistance when a product fails.

At this point, I have lost confidence in the reliability of Keurig machines and am disappointed by both the product quality and customer service experience. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this brand.

Keurig's Customer Rewards are a SCAM

Keurig's Customer Rewards are a SCAM! They entice you to purchase from them using REWARDS, that you accumulate with every purchase, then when you have enough, they give you selections to drop into your cart, to deliver with your existing order, EXCEPT once your REPLENISHMENT ORDER SHIPS, your reward IS REMOVED FROM YOUR CART AND YOUR POINTS ARE TAKEN AWAY - NEVER GIVING YOU YOUR REWARD. They did this to OUR BUSINESS of 4 years, time and time again. EVERY SINGLE TIME I REACHED OUT TO THEM, I WAS COMPLETELY IGNORED! I BLACK LISTED KEURIG from our Suppliers List!

Buy Keurig at your own risk

First of all let me assure you if you have an issue with your Keurig product and have done all that is recommended online you will NOT get any further assistance from Keurig. They farm out their C.S. to foreigners that you can't understand and who will turn your entire issue into something that is not their problem to solve. 100% waste of your time.

NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

I cancelled an order that was on autoship. We did not like the coffee and wanted it cancelled. Keurig shipped the order anyway. When I got notice a week prior that it was shipping, I went in and cancelled. Then another notice was sent saying it was shipping a day prior to shipping. I once again went in and cancelled on their site. Then I got notice that it was shipped. I called customer service and was told that I would get a full refund. Did not happen. When I wrote, I was told yes return this shipment at a cost to me. Not only return but make sure I used a tracking service. Are they kidding? I will never purchase or use Keurig again.

I purchased a Keurig bag in October…

I purchased a Keurig bag in October 2023. I had been using it with no issues until the descaler indication came on. I had already purchased a D scaler offbrand product to be able to clean my Keurig. I attempted to do so following the directions to a T and it broke. I called Keurig and they replaced my item and this was in May 2025 I’ve been using the replacement and about a year since that replacement was sent. I am again dealing with the descale indication coming on however. This time I use their Descaler product. Once again following directions to a T and the Keurig breaks again I call Keurig to get a replacement and they tell me it’s “ out of warranty and they can’t replace it”but they just replaced it last year. They had the audacity to offer me a discount to purchase another item, but can’t guarantee me that it’s not going to be faulty. They do not stand by their products they have shotty business practices. I don’t suggest anybody purchasing a Keurig. If you do make sure whomever you purchased it from there is a warranty that comes with it. They don’t even offer you that when you speak to customer service. DO NOT BUY Keurig PRODUCTS! They are just like apple they create more products each year that work better than the original ones that they started creating were always faulty and meant to break so you can spend more money and buy another one

Keurig has lost a lifelong customer.

Keurig has lost a lifelong customer.

I purchased a coffee maker that did not perform as described and was disappointed with the product. My intention was not to leave Keurig, I planned to return this machine and purchase a more expensive Keurig model instead.

What turned a disappointing product experience into the loss of a loyal customer was the customer service experience that followed.

I contacted customer service to discuss the requirement that customers pay return shipping costs, hoping there might be an exception or alternative solution for a product that did not meet the expectations set by its advertised features. During my first call, I spoke with two representatives and was told a supervisor would call me back that day. No call came.
When I called again, I was told a supervisor had already contacted me, despite there being no missed call or voicemail. With no resolution, I proceeded with the return authorization.
Only then did I learn that returning the machine would cost approximately $80 in shipping, more than half the purchase price. At that point, returning the machine became financially unreasonable.
I contacted customer service a third time and eventually spoke with a supervisor. While polite and sympathetic, she offered a 50% discount on a future purchase and free shipping, both of which were already available through promotions on Keurig’s website.
What is most disappointing is that Keurig was willing to lose a loyal customer over an issue that could have been resolved. I simply wanted assistance returning a product that did not meet the expectations set by its description so that I could purchase another Keurig machine.
Instead, after multiple calls, an unfulfilled callback, conflicting information, and an $80 return shipping charge, I have decided that I will no longer purchase Keurig products anywhere they may be purchased. This experience has left me feeling that Keurig’s customer loyalty is valued far less than I ever believed.

Fraud

Woke up this AM to an email that said my auto delivery had been processed. I had not authorized any purchase. Customer service was unable to cancel or let me speak with a supervisor. I have cancelled with my credit card and blocked any further transactions. I’ll never buy from them again. I had a problem with a coffee maker 2 yrs ago and vowed never to do business again. Who knew they’d do it for me. Lousy company and horrendous customer service.

Never buying Keurig again. Lasts 1 year; bad cust. svc.

My Keurig Duo was my third and last Keurig purchase. Their coffee pots last 1 to 1.5 years, then just stop working, with no way to resolve issues. Customer Service is difficult to obtain and there is no effort to win back the customer with incentives that are worth my time or even with any level of professionalism or kindness. The coffee maker and k-pod functions were good, not great, but I expect more time out of a $150 coffee pot and will buying another brand. I find that I cannot leave a review on Keurig's website directly, but need to submit an email and request a response regarding my review. No wonder their reviews are 4.5 out of 5 on their site. I have learned my lesson.

Quality and logistics ok but rewards program Deceptive

Quality and logistics ok, but major issue with rewards program. Keurig always stressing benefits of rewards program, but every time I saw I had a lot and went to use them, they were gone. Turns out Keurig cancels rewards after only 90 days if not used. Just another company overselling their benefits while taking advantage of their consumers.

Gave them 3 chances and they failed…

Gave them 3 chances and they failed each time.
1st chance.... my Keurig.com account was hacked and multiple 1 item orders were placed using my card, shipping to a state on the opposite end of the country. After a painful 20+ minute phone call where I had to repeat myself multiple times that I was not the one who placed the orders and NO, I did not set up auto shipments, I was told the issue needed to be escalated and I'd get a call at some point in the next few days. I was told to make sure I was available to take the call.....ya know, because apparently I don't have a job to go to or a life to live. I ended up just disputing the charges with my bank. Never got a call from Keurig and all of the fraudulent orders shipped to the creep in Florida.
Second chance....tried to place an order on the site, after changing my password. I didn't get an order confirmation after hitting submit, so I tried again. Still nothing. I tried logging out and back in, tried to place the order one more time....nothing. Due to the prior issues, I checked my CC....sure enough, 3 pending charges. Huh? I tried a chat and was told I need to call, so I did. Another long call with a promise of a callback, which again, never happened. Luckily the pending charges flinally dropped after several days, and even more luckily, I had used a CC so the funds in my bank account weren't on hold for 4 or 5 days.
Third chance.... I ordered coffee pods. Order went through ok, received order in a timely manner. Put a pod in my machine and it exploded. Hot coffee grounds and water everywhere. I cleaned it up and tried another from the same box. Exploded again. I have never had this issue with pods from Keurig.com before. I reached out to customer service and explained the situation. Their response was that they aren't responsible since it's not their brand, that I need to reach out to Black Rifle Co directly. I asked why. I didn't purchase from Black Rifle, I purchased from Keurig.com. I gave Keurig.com my money. Once again, no response from them. I'm done

Make sure to test everything on the machine before 30 days

I ordered a Keurig K iced plus machine during the colder weather so I never used the iced coffee function until like 1 month after purchasing and it does not work! I contacted the company as it had only been like 35 days since purchasing and they basically said since it was past the 30 day return period there was nothing they could do! Do not buy anything from this company, the customer service is horrible!

Third Keurig coffee maker failed

Third Keurig coffee maker failed - after descale cleaning. Quality of machines has declined and failure after 1 year warranty seems common. My machine lasted 12.5 months and made approximately 200 cups of coffee at a cost of $90 dollar for the machine before failure. I like the variety of K-cup flavors, but they sit useless with yet another broken machine. the result is sending me back to $30 basket coffee maker which lasts for years with less costly per cup economics. Kuerig has killed their concept of K-cup with poor quality machines.
