Great Service
When I called the call was answered quickly by a real human being. They were polite and knowledgeable and everything was easily taken care of. The website is very easy to use. I have never had a problem.

If you call, you can speak to a human who is extremely helpful. They also keep their savings interest rate up higher than most banks.

When I make a transfer of money from my bank to Live Oak I don't believe it should take so long for my funds to be available. It should be 2 days, not 3-5 days.

The app is terrible
The app is terrible. Logon with face ID doesn't function. Layout to view various accounts is poor. Customer Service via phone is Great, although customers rarely have to call, but they use the app several times a week.

Easy online transaction. Had a question and called Live Oak and actually spoke to a person instead of a machine. Great to know most employees are positioned right here in North Carolina.

I've had a savings account here for years now, and the rates have always been very competitive! Transfers in and out take only a few days. I've never had any issues.

So far so good
So far so good. I feel a tad wiser for at least using a high yield savings account b/c even though it's the "smart" thing to invest in the stock market, there is so much that feels flat out unethical about it. I imagine Live Oak is able to do high yield because they invest in other things. I am also local to Wilmington. Thanks.
